Judge Faruqui Apologizes To WHCD Attacker, Says Jail Treatment Harsher Than That Of J6 Defendants

Activist judges are a major problem for the rule of law in this country. The latest comes from the U.S. Magistrate judge, Zia M. Faruqui, who is presiding over the case involving Cole Allen who tried to attack Trump Administration officials at last week’s WHCD. According to Faruqui, Allen was owed an apology. Yes, REALLY.

An irritated federal judge on Monday said it appeared that Cole Allen, the man accused of trying to assassinate President Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, has been treated more harshly by a jail than it treated defendants in Jan. 6, 2021, attack criminal cases.

“I can tell you I have never had a January 6th defendant who was put in 5-point restraints or a safe cell,” Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui told prosecutors and the top attorney for the District of Columbia’s jail system, during a hearing in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C.

Faruqui said he found it “extremely disturbing” and was “very troubled” that the 31-year-old Allen had been placed under suicide watch and had restrictions imposed without a finding that he was at risk for suicide and without having a criminal history.

“A lot of people have seemed to forget about Jan. 6, but I have not,” Faruqui said. “Pardons erase convictions but do not erase history.”

When I first heard this on the radio, I nearly drove off the road in amazement. What in the ever loving hell does ANYTHING about January 6 and the subsequent miscarriage of justice towards the defendants have to do with Cole Allen planning and then attempting an attack on members of the Trump Administration and President Trump himself???!!

Not one damned thing. But this asshat judge just went there. Next thing you know, the judge will show up to jail with milk and cookies for the poor dear. You know, that one who kitted himself out with a shotgun, knives, and a pistol while penning a manifesto that made it abundantly clear who his targets were.

Keep in mind, Cole Allen is in JAIL. He isn’t staying at The Ritz and shouldn’t have any expectations of 5-star service and bedding. Secondly, this is a very high profile case. One of the highest. Thus it seems very logical that precautions would be taken.

“Sandra, good afternoon to you. Judge Zia Faruqui apologized to suspect Cole Allen for the treatment he’s received so far while he has been behind bars. He’s been put on suicide watch by the Department of Corrections, and the judge was asking why. An attorney from the government said that he was put on suicide watch because he told FBI agents that night of the White House Correspondents’ dinner attack that he didn’t expect to survive, and his language suggested that he really was not expecting to survive his trip to Washington, D.C., and the ultimate incident where he allegedly showed up with a weapon to try and assassinate President Trump. He’s been charged with that crime.

“But the judge, very concerned about his constitutional rights, saying the defendant has requested a Bible, has requested meetings with his legal team, and that has not been allowed, he’s been put in restrictive, 24 hour lockup, with no windows and a padded room without an opportunity to get out for recreation. So the judge making it clear that he wants answers by tomorrow morning about exactly what the housing determination will be made for the suspect in this case, out of grave concern about his constitutional rights. And that apology issued near the end of the hearing. And so, quite a moment just moments ago in federal court.

“Bottom line: Department of Correction said they wanted to make sure that he survived, that this is a high-profile case. All involved acknowledged it was a high-profile case. Again, the judge concerned about the treatment he’s gotten since he was arrested after the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting incident. Sandra, back to you.”

Just unbelievable that the judge blasted the Dept of Corrections and apologized to Allen.

Magistrate Judge Faruqui is obviously a Democrat. Why else would he bring up January 6 and essentially state that those involved on that day were far more dangerous than Allen is.

Not one single J6 defendant had guns or knives. Not a single one of them shot at a Secret Service agent on that day. The ONLY person shot that day was Ashli Babbitt.

Yet here’s an activist judge comparing Allen to J6 and then APOLOGIZING to a guy who attempted to kill as many people as possible last week. The excessive amount of sympathy the judge is showing a defendant is wrong on every level. It doesn’t matter that Allen’s attorneys were leveling complaints about the supposed conditions Allen was having to endure.

You’ll note that Faruqui presided over a great many J6 cases. And quite a number of those defendants signed complaints about the jail conditions over their time at that very same jail. Did Faruqui ever apologize to THEM?

No.

That’s a darned good idea!

Activist judges are a problem within our country’s legal system. It’s more than a bit difficult to claim just and fair, and not taint the jury pool, when you have a judge cherry-pick who gets an apology for the conditions in the jail.
