Another day, another Trump for the Congressional Democrats and media conglomerate to attack. Citing a “Lack of Candor”, 22 Congressional Democrats have sent a letter to Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe requesting a review of Ivanka Trump’s Security Clearance, according to RT.com,
Led by Representative Don Beyer (D-Virginia), a total of 22 lawmakers from the minority party signed the letter to Acting Director Andrew McCabe, requesting a review of potential discrepancies between the disclosure form filed by Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, both currently working as advisers to her father, President Donald Trump.
The Standard Form 86 (SF-86) submitted by federal officials required the disclosure of foreign contacts, business interests and meetings by spouses and siblings over the previous seven years, the lawmakers noted, demanding to see if Ivanka’s SF-86 contained references to the June 2016 meeting with Russian attorney Natalya Veselnitskaya, which both Kushner and her brother Donald Trump Jr. attended.
Newsy.com posted this video explanation:
If you care to read this bilge, here is the letter and the signatures.
What if Jared Kushner didn’t tell Ivanka that he met with that female Russian lawyer? What if he doesn’t tell her every single person that he meets with every day? What if they discuss their three children at night? What if they discuss books or movies or golf or a cooking class they would like to take together? It happens. Maybe Congressional Democrats don’t ever have interesting conversations with their significant others and loved ones. That is a distinct possibility.
This paragraph from the letter is very interesting:
“To date, Ms Trump and her husband Jared Kushner have played an influential role in her father’s administration. Ms. Trump even took her father’s place at the head table with world leaders at the G20 summit in Hamburg. Between them, the couple have been assigned expansive policy portfolios, even as they maintain a business empire that relies on foreign financing and manufacturing. The juxtaposition of their public and private roles may be murky and confused, but her obligation to disclose her families’ [sic] and her foreign contacts is not,”
Holy Mackerel, Ivanka Trump sat at the table for a bit with world leaders at the G20 summit. Briefly, and even poor old German Chancellor Angela Merkel defended her. Doesn’t Angela have enough problems wit the Anarchist protesters and the murdering, raping immigrants? Oh, and for crying out loud, Ivanka wore a pink suit with bows on it while she sat there. There is photographic evidence of this heinous crime.
I bet Ivanka Trump ate Petrossian Royal Siberian caviar at the Russian Tea Room once. I bet that she didn’t disclose it.
Sometimes, well, all the time, it seems that the old green eyed monster named “Jealousy” has wrapped it’s tentacles around Democrat hearts. Small though they are. It seems the Democrats are jealous of beautiful, successful, smart and wealthy people. Maybe it’s just my imagination.
Just remember that old b!tch, karma is forever watching.
Some years down the road (hopefully many, many years), it will be time to hold the Democrats to the same standards they want to hold Republicans to.
Imagine this same yardstick being applied to a Hillary, an Obama, etc. What goes around, comes around, and given the general level of probity exhibited by the typical leftist, the results should be entertaining.
You’d have thought the Democrats learned their lesson with the Nuclear Option…
Not sure why they mention siblings. I don’t recall having to disclose anything about my siblings (except who they are) in filling out my SF86, much less their contacts.
They probably changed the rules. I am sure Roger Clinton and the Rodham thugs couldn’t pass muster.
