As if things weren’t interesting enough regarding the IRS whistleblower that Kim wrote about here, now we find out who the Biden Administration senior official allegedly is.

Attorney General Merrick Garland is the unnamed official whose sworn testimony before Congress is being challenged in a bombshell letter from an IRS whistleblower’s attorney that also alleges a coverup in the Hunter Biden criminal investigation, The Post has learned.

Attorney Mark Lytle wrote Wednesday that the longtime IRS employee wants to provide information to congressional leaders to “contradict sworn testimony to Congress by a senior political appointee” — Garland —and also to detail “preferential treatment” in the criminal probe of the first son.

Somehow, this information isn’t a surprise. The Hunter Biden investigations have been slow walked for three years now. Does it surprise anyone that Merrick Garland likely ensured the investigations were stonewalled?? 

In addition, the whistleblower’s admissions apparently ‘detail preferential treatment and politics improperly infecting decisions and protocols that would normally be followed by career law enforcement professionals in similar circumstances if the subject were not politically connected.’

Interesting given that Hunter was front and center for his father’s little Ireland jaunt the other week. Essentially he was performing as Joe’s handler in attempts to keep Grandpa on track. Pretty arrogant of the Biden’s to do this when Hunter is under scrutiny for a plethora of issues that include his laptop and tax evasion! Oh it’s not just tax evasion, it is years worth of unpaid taxes! Furthermore, this is an extension of investigations into Hunter that began during the Obama Administration. 

So this case involved Hunter’s activities and it seems six other Biden family members. 

“We’ve identified six additional members of Joe Biden’s family who may have benefited from the Biden family’s businesses that we are investigating, bringing the total number of those involved or benefiting to nine.” Those six names are in addition to three Biden family members and two associates previously linked to payments from China in 2017. Three million dollars were wired to Biden family associate Rob Walker in March 2017, who then allegedly divided and distributed the funds later.

There remains an “Unknown Biden” who received four payments in 2017 totaling $70,000.

Was that the Big Guy? Asking for a friend.

Merrick Garland is on record, under oath, that he nor anyone else in the Department of Justice has or will interfere with David Weiss’s investigation. 

Totally free of interference. None. Completely hands off. OH REALLY?

CNN actually brought up the fact that an IRS whistleblower has evidence that the investigation into Hunter Biden has been compromised by political interference…

If true, that means that Garland wasn’t hands off and there was interference according to the whistleblower.

The whistleblower counters that there is readily available evidence of a failure “to mitigate clear conflicts of interest in the ultimate disposition of the case.”

Mark Lytle, the attorney for the whistleblower was very clear in outlining that the whistleblower is giving relevant information but is also being very careful about IRS rules, regulations and laws. 

If Garland is hindering an investigation in order to protect the Biden family, then that is a definitive crime as it is obstruction of justice.

Yet here we have Hunter Biden’s attorney claiming that it is the whistleblower that is engaging in criminal acts. 

“It is a felony for an IRS agent to improperly disclose information about an ongoing tax investigation,” Clark said. “The IRS has incredible power, and abusing that power by targeting, embarrassing, or disclosing information about a private citizen’s tax matters undermines Americans’ faith in the federal government. Unfortunately, that is what has happened and is happening here in an attempt to harm my client.”

What has been disclosed regarding Hunter’s tax issues other than what is already out in the public view? NOTHING. Yet Hunter’s attorneys have called for the IRS to go after Hunter’s critics. Is that what got the whistleblower to step up? Or was it the whole of the investigation being hindered by Garland on behalf of the Biden family?

Furthermore, in regards to the credibility of the IRS whistleblower and his claims about the Biden and Merrick Garland, the guy has to run the gauntlet to get his claims heard, and I’m not talking the Democrat/media complex gauntlet.

However, due to a quirk of federal law, he needs congressional approval to more fully describe his allegations to his own lawyers, which he wants to do before testifying to lawmakers

Federal law requires congressional permission for the whistleblower to consult with their attorneys on the substance of tax issues before testifying to Congress, which he is seeking from Senate Finance Committee Chairman Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) or House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-Mo.).

Oh. So, if all comes to fruition, we might be learning a LOT more about how bad Hunter Biden and others tax issues really are, AND we’d find out more about the scope and depth of Merrick Garland’s interference in the investigation in order to protect the “Big Guy” and his family.
