Impeachment Twins Wrap Selves In Constitution And Prayer

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff held a press conference today where they wrapped themselves in prayer and The Constitution. The two impeached the President with their words. The Impeachment Twins also lied repeatedly about the action of President Trump.

First of all, Pelosi said that the President should want to work with the Democrats on passing trade deals, prescription drug legislation and gun control. Well, excuse me, Miss San Fran Nan, but when you are calling someone everything but a child of God, why would he want to work with you? You pronounce him guilty of subverting The Constitution and say, “Hey, let’s work together”. No. That’s so disingenuous.

Mrs. Pelosi twice said that the President would be treated with fairness. At the same time, she pronounced him guilty of controverting the Constitution of the United Stated. She said that she told him on a phone call that his phone call with Ukranian President Zelensky wasn’t “perfect”. It was illegal, according to Madam Speaker. How is it being fair when you pronounce someone guilty?

Before I go on, here is the press conference. You have to fast forward through the first 20 minutes because the Impeachment Twins were late.

Nancy talked a lot about prayer. Nancy talked a lot about this being a sad time. Nancy mangled the Book of Mark 8:36:

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Then, Nancy in her disjointed speaking style mangled Thomas Paine. She was rambling something about “The times have found us.” I think she meant:

“THESE are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands by it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated”

Adam Schiff, for his part, accused the President of stonewalling and obstruction of justice. He also accused Donald Trump of asking Zelensky to “create dirt on an opponent”. Um no. According to the transcript of DJT’s phone call with Zelensky, he said:

The other thing, There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it… It sounds horrible to me.

Trump said “find out about that”. He did not say, “Get me some dirt on Biden and his boy.” That would be you, Adam. Remember when you wanted dirt on Trump from the Russian shock jocks who were pretending to be Ukranian officials.

Both of the Impeachment Twins mentioned prayer and The Constitution frequently, as if the fragrance of those could cover the foul smell of their mendacity.

Finally, Adam Schiff insulted every Republican member of Congress. Shiff said that there is no floor of Trump’s bad behavior low enough for most Republicans to stop supporting Trump. This from the man who used his “parody” to lie about the President in the Intelligence Committee hearing. Really?
