The Fox News GOP Debate scheduled for January 2016 will have a familiar panel of moderators questioning the candidates. Yes, that includes Megyn Kelly.
Will the January FNC debate have to be divided in half because of the sheer number of candidates? Will there be 10 candidates on stage again for the main event? Will The Donald be on that stage?
Whether Trump faces Kelly and company again in January will depend if his juggernaut candidacy is still going strong. FNC limited last week’s prime-time debate to the top 10 candidates in the national polls. No guidelines have been set for the next event.
“As we get closer to the January debate in Iowa, Fox News will announce the criteria for participation — which has not yet been determined — and invitations will be extended to all candidates who meet that criteria,” a Fox News representative said. “As Fox demonstrated last week, our goal with these debates is to be as inclusive as possible.”
One producer at a competing cable news organization predicted Trump will be there.
“Trump giving up airtime? Are you kidding me?” the producer said.
The FNC Debate is 5 months away. A great deal can happen between then and now. Especially in the world of politics. It wouldn’t surprise me nor many of our readers if the field of 17 has been whittled down some by the time that debate rolls around. By then, given the crazy poll numbers that Trump is enjoying now, will he still have momentum and be on that stage? Who knows? However, if he is, what questions will he be asked? Will there be a follow-up to his single payer healthcare comments?
Here’s a couple of questions to ask. If Scotland’s socialized single payer system, run by the British National Health Service is so great, how come the cancer survival rates are significantly lower than those in the United States? If Canada’s system works so beautifully, how come many Canadian citizens travel to the U.S. for their major healthcare issues? Will Trump also be asked about his implied monopoly healthcare comment?
“What I’d like to see,” Trump continued, “is a private system without the artificial lines around every state. I have a big company with thousands and thousands of employees. And if I’m negotiating in New York or in New Jersey or in California, I have like one bidder. Nobody can bid.”
I don’t know about you, but I’m not the only one that finds the idea of a private insurance company with a budget in the trillions, yet potentially unaccountable to anyone, more than a little worrisome. How about his comments concerning Planned Parenthood?
By the time the January debate arrives, we will have seen all 12 videos of the horror that is Planned Parenthood. Will Megyn, Brett, or Chris ask him about his defense of such a heinous organization? Will he be asked what he thinks about the dubious distinction of being the only Republican candidate endorsed by Planned Parenthood?
How about foreign policy? Lets ask him how he’ll respond if a world leader such as Russia’s Putin does something to tick him off? Will he respond as Ronald Reagan would’ve done, with humor and style? Or would he engage in a Twitter commentary much like what he’s leveled at other GOP candidates, Senators such as John McCain, Fox News, Megyn, and anyone else he takes exception to?
I just realized that if you listen to Carly Fiorina for more than ten minutes straight, you develop a massive headache. She has zero chance!

Truly weird Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky reminds me of a spoiled brat without a properly functioning brain. He was terrible at DEBATE!

Oh I know! How about Megyn asking Donald about who his running mate will be? Especially since a former Minnesota Governor has thrown his hat into the ring. Is it just me, or is there something very odd about the idea of a Donald Trump/Jesse Ventura ticket?
As Minnesotan, seen it before. Donald Trump is Jesse Ventura syndrome. Be wary!! Pop culture does not make good leaders!

Its a safe bet that there will be a gold mine of questions that Megyn can ask Donald Trump at January’s debate if he makes it that far. The question is; how will he handle those questions? If he doesn’t like the questions or takes exception to her tone, will we be treated to another days-on-end Twitter rant?
Given his demeanor thus far; I’d say that’s a possibility. Better stock up on popcorn just in case.
The Trumpster is a blowhard bully, changing his views & politics like he changes his clothes. He’s as big of a shyster as any ambulance chasing lawyer.
The Dems two candidates are Socialists that are quickly morphing into Communists……with one who is so corrupt it’s almost unbelievable that she’s still afloat. Surely, we can present a far better candidate…..and the Trumpster ain’t it.
I usually resist the temptation to comment, but this passage is a siren song:
“The FNC Debate is 5 months away. A great deal can happen between then and now. Especially in the world of politics.”
Don’t be distracted watching the “political” hand (diversion). As in any magician’s act (deception), It’s the other hand you need to watch closely.
In 1941. we called it a “3D” Policy.
