Eric Clapton will cancel shows if the venue requires vaccine passports. And he is very serious about this move.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who has turned out to be a huge disappointment, issued an announcement this week, Vaccine passes will be required for everyone who wishes to go to a nightclub or a concert. 

The prime minister told a press conference on Monday: “I don’t want to have to close nightclubs again as they have elsewhere. But it does mean nightclubs need to do the socially responsible thing.
“As we said last week, we do reserve the right to mandate certification at any point if it’s necessary to reduce transmission.
“And I should serve notice now that by the end of September, when all over 18s have had their chance to be double jabbed we’re planning to make full vaccination the condition of entry to nightclubs and other venues where large crowds gather

Eric Clapton is having NONE of that. 

Following the PM’s announcement on Monday the 19th of July 2021 I feel honour bound to make an announcement of my own:
I wish to say that I will not perform on any stage where there is a discriminated audience present. Unless there is provision made for all people to attend, I reserve the right to cancel the show. Eric Clapton.

You know what? I agree with Eric Clapton. The whole damned WORLD has been upended for one virus. Yes, for the elderly it is a damned serious flu virus. For those with autoimmune diseases, disabilities, or those dealing with serious health issues (cancer, diabetes, heart/lung disease) it is a serious virus.  

Does this virus transmit on surfaces? No

Does this virus stay airborne for minutes, days, weeks, months? No

Do young healthy adults or children house the virus and transmit it? Not that anyone can definitively point to. 

Eric Clapton has been paying attention since February of last year. Recently, he debuted a song co-written and sung with Van Morrison detailing how fed up they both are with the lockdowns. 

It’s a damned amazing song. And entirely on point. Now, some may say that Eric Clapton is being irresponsible for wanting the music venues to NOT require vaccine passports. Many may believe that makes him a health risk along with being an anti-vaxxer. 

Which is far from the truth. Why? He has been vaccinated. And…It went horribly, nearly tragically WRONG.

“I took the first jab of AZ and straight away had severe reactions which lasted ten days, I recovered eventually and was told it would be twelve weeks before the second one…,” Clapton wrote.

“About six weeks later I was offered and took the second AZ shot, but with a little more knowledge of the dangers,” he continued. “Needless to say the reactions were disastrous, my hands and feet were either frozen, numb or burning, and pretty much useless for two weeks, I feared I would never play again, (I suffer with peripheral neuropathy and should never have gone near the needle.) But the propaganda said the vaccine was safe for everyone….”

Eric Clapton is a MUSICIAN. An amazing award winning musician whose songs resonate with so many. He thought he would NEVER PLAY AGAIN because of how his body reacted to the vaccine! Guess what, he isn’t the only one who has had similar reactions. And, don’t get me started on the issues with vaccinating young adults and teens, especially boys. The numbers of those hospitalized from reactions to the vaccine (myocarditis), getting Covid after the vaccine, or other health issues related to either or both, is of grave concern even as the CDC waves it off as ‘nothing to see here, move along.’ 

Think about that again for a minute. Eric Clapton honestly thought his career as a musician was DONE after getting vaccinated against Covid. He’s now telling Boris Johnson and all the Covid fear-mongers to go fly a bloody kite on the vaccine passport idea. 

He’s decided to no longer live in fear. We ALL know what to do. Wash hands, keep things clean, take your vitamins, eat healthy, exercise, and more. 

Yet governments are getting more and more intrusive, plus putting unrealistic burdens on businesses. Eric Clapton is here to tell you, knock it off, or I will take my business elsewhere. And his business brings in the big bucks.

Ellen, if you want to stay hunkered down in your pricy home, go right on ahead. Others have to make a living and have been doing so since all this madness started. They don’t have the luxury you have, so put a sock in it.
