Democrats spent years screaming at Americans that Donald Trump would jail political enemies, weaponize the government, crush dissent, and rule like a Nazi dictator. Now along comes Texas Democratic congressional candidate Maureen Galindo openly talking about prison camps for “American Zionists” and “castration processing centers” for her ideological enemies. Which raises a pretty uncomfortable question for Democrats: what exactly were we supposed to be afraid of again?

That is probably the craziest part of this entire story. Maureen Galindo is not some anonymous activist ranting into the void on social media at three o’clock in the morning. She is an actual Democratic congressional candidate running in a Texas runoff election. A real candidate. With a registered campaign, fundraising, media interviews, outside political support, and Democratic voters backing her.
And then there is also this little gem.
A Texas sex therapist running for Congress claimed in a recent radio interview that her Democratic primary opponent should be “tried for treason” over his support for Israel — and doubled down on the inflammatory language when contacted by The Post.
Maureen Galindo, a licensed marriage and family therapist with Exulted Sex Therapy in San Antonio, told Texas Public Radio May 13 that Johnny Garcia “and others who support him, or anybody who is supported by Israel should be tried for treason.” – New York Post
Galindo has spent the past several days under fire after posting about turning the Karnes ICE Detention Center into what she described as a prison for “American Zionists” and former ICE officers. She also suggested the facility would operate as a “castration processing center” for pedophiles, which she then casually implied would include “most of the Zionists.”
Remember the endless panic Americans were subjected to for nearly a decade?
Democrats warned that Trump wanted to target political enemies, weaponize the government, and turn dissent into criminal behavior. The professional panic crowd spent years comparing Trump to Hitler while warning Americans that fascism was lurking around every corner.
And the deeper you dig into Galindo, the weirder the story gets. Before running for Congress, she reportedly operated an astrology-themed sex therapy business. Of course she did. Galindo offered “kinky birthchart readings” and “live tarot therapy” to help clients explore “sexuality, spirituality, and the stars.” But once she started her congressional campaign, it appears her online history began to quietly disappear. But we all know the internet is forever.
Fine, people can have their weird “careers.” America has seen stranger politicians before.
But Galindo does not feel like some isolated political oddity anymore. She is not some charismatic bartender-turned-progressive celebrity who learned how to go viral on TikTok before running for Congress. Galindo sounds like somebody who spent way too long inside the progressive activist bubble and forgot normal people can hear her.
This is the real problem here.
Galindo is obviously extreme. Most normal people hear phrases like “castration processing center” and realize somebody has completely lost the plot.
As previously mentioned, Moonbat Maureen has also pushed antisemitic conspiracy rhetoric about “Zionists” controlling America, accused Israel of effectively occupying the United States, and suggested political opponents should potentially face treason charges. At one point, she even repeated the old trope about Jews controlling Hollywood.
NEW from me

This is not edgy activism. This is conspiracy-brained politics.
And maybe that is why this story feels less shocking than it should. Americans have spent years watching parts of the activist Left slide deeper into ideological obsession, where everything becomes oppression, colonization, genocide, fascism, or treason. Good grief. Just typing all of that is exhausting.
Eventually, somebody comes along who takes all that rhetoric seriously and cranks it up to eleven.
That somebody appears to be Maureen Galindo.
Democrats are creating a problem for themselves. Should we tell them?
When you spend years cultivating activists and grooming them to believe that political opponents are fascists, Nazis, threats to democracy, and are literally evil, eventually you are going to produce candidates like Maureen Galindo.
So no, I am not surprised Moonbat Maureen is talking prison camps and treason charges and castration processing centers. The disturbing part is that she clearly sees herself as the good guy, cleaning up evil.
Maybe Democrats should stop wondering why so many Americans have checked out of their hysterical “threat to democracy” lectures when one of their own candidates is out here pitching prison camps like she’s brainstorming Netflix plotlines.
