No regrets! NONE. Yes, the Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin admitted that today, under oath.
He was asked if he had regrets about the withdrawal, to which he responded, “I support the president’s decision,” and when Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) specifically brought up the 13 U.S. service members who were killed in a bombing in the final weeks of the occupation, Austin said, “I don’t have any regrets.”
President Joe Biden had announced the troops were departing Afghanistan on Sept. 11, 2021, the 20-year anniversary of the attacks that prefaced the war. But, in August, the Taliban launched a military offensive and quickly began amassing territory before ultimately overthrowing the U.S.-backed Ghani government.
The utter gal of this man. The jaw-dropping hubris of someone in charge of all our military to proclaim that he regrets NOTHING about how the Afghanistan withdrawal was handled??!! AYFKM??!!

Is it any wonder that our military recruitment levels are in the crapper?? With this guy running things and admitting to zero mistakes, no wonder no one wants to join up!
Then again, this is the guy who tried to claim he knew nothing about the DOD funding abortions, even if it breaks federal law, and insisted that the DOD isn’t promoting drag shows for kids on several military bases, even as there is proof they are happening.
All of that is bad enough. Yet, for the Secretary of Defense to sit there and tell the world that he regrets nothing about the botched Afghanistan withdrawal that left thirteen American soldiers dead, many more wounded, other Americans left behind, and the Taliban in charge of everything is arrogant beyond belief.
And yet, today Austin stated he has no regrets??!! The withdrawal was completely catastrophic and a disgrace for the Biden Administration along with the Secretary of Defense. THEY did this and it is our military who suffers because of the arrogance of Austin, Biden, and Blinken.
Republicans in Congress hit Secretary of State Antony Blinken with a subpoena on Tuesday that will force the State Department to disclose classified information believed to show that U.S. officials knew Afghanistan’s government would immediately collapse in 2021 when the administration decided to withdraw from the country.
The subpoena marks the first issued by Rep. Michael McCaul (R., Texas) as chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. It is expected the Biden administration will try to block the release of these internal communications.
The document in question is a classified July 2021 dissent cable issued by 23 State Department officials warning the administration that they were unprepared for a precipitous withdrawal from Afghanistan and feared the Taliban would quickly retake control. The worst-case scenario played out just a month later, when President Joe Biden moved forward with a hasty withdrawal that left 13 Americans dead. Thousands of Americans were stranded in the country, with the State Department unable to rescue them for weeks.
You know what the Taliban is doing? Having a grand time putting women back in hijabs and taking them away from jobs and careers. What else is the Taliban doing? Enjoying all the millions of dollars worth of military equipment Secretary Defense Austin told our military to leave behind, and gleefully parading it before the world.
So who should be held accountable?
Austin was asked if there has been any accountability for anyone within the Department of Defense for the “deadly, botched, and embarrassing” withdrawal, and he responded, “Our troops evacuated 124,000 people off that airfield.”
“Has anyone been held accountable for what happened in Afghanistan?” Austin was asked again, to which the secretary responded, “To my knowledge, no.”
Of COURSE no one you know has been held accountable! Least of all you! But sure, no regrets whatsoever.
This is where we are with the Biden Administration. NOTHING they do is ever their fault. That arrogance is killing Americans and hurting this Republic’s psyche.
Lloyd Austin is the worst thing to happen to our military. He needs to go ASAP before we no longer have a military in place to protect this country.

The sad thing about this is that shameless denial — lying — is still working. So long as these people reveal no shame, they hope the news media will continue to call Republicans extremists, and enough people will agree, and nothing will be done.
What is the ultimate solution? We must pressure Congress to continue to investigate and publicize the evidence. We must build up the pressure on these people. These phonies cannot stand the pressure that Trump has endured. Eventually, the cowards in the news media will run for cover, and Democrat and RINO politicians will be exposed as liars.
The first step is simple. We must ask our neighbors to think. If Liberal Democrats are so good for the country, then what are they doing that is good for the country? Why exactly is bankruptcy so great? Do we want schools that don’t work? Is rampant crime cheaper than prisons? Is encouraging sexual confusion and providing “free” sex change operations really the best way to build up the self-esteem of our children? Will we finally solve the problem of racism if everyone recognizes the superiority of the black race? Does the success of women depend upon the failure men? Does the success of men identifying as women depend upon the failure of women?
With question after question, we must put enough pressure on Democrats to force them to go on defense. We must bog them down defending themselves so that they cannot continue to rob and wreck our country. And we must begin rebuilding our economy and military. We cannot wait until the next presidential election to replace Biden. We must start trying to impeach Biden and Harris now!
