Chris Wright has been tapped to be President Trump’s Energy Secretary and this is a serious win for U.S. energy policies and the economy. Drill Baby, Drill!!

Chris has been a leading technologist and entrepreneur in Energy. He has worked in Nuclear, Solar, Geothermal, and Oil and Gas. Most significantly, Chris was one of the pioneers who helped launch the American Shale Revolution that fueled American Energy Independence, and transformed the Global Energy Markets and Geopolitics.

Self-described tech nerd turned entrepreneur, Chris Wright is the founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board of Liberty Energy (NYSE: LBRT). Chris is a dedicated humanitarian with a passion for bringing the benefits of energy to every community in the world. This passion has inspired a career in energy, working not only in oil and gas but nuclear, solar, and geothermal. Chris embraces all energy sources if they are abundant, affordable, and reliable.

The media already has problems with this choice. Why? First it’s because he has NO government experience. 

Wright, who has never worked in a government position, founded the publicly traded oilfield services firm Liberty Energy in 2010, which fracks 20% of the onshore wells nationally. The $3 billion company is involved in nearly 10% of the United States’ total energy production, according to Wright.

Evidently, running a $3 BILLION dollar company is disqualifying. The bigger issue is that A. Liberty Energy is a *gasp! fracking company. How dare Trump chose someone who is ruining our environment and contributing to climate change by fracking for that nasty dirty oil and natural gas??!! B. What is more outrageous to the climate cultists is that …Chris Wright does not believe in the vaunted science of climate change! 

Wright is an outspoken critic of policies aimed at curbing climate change, including the Department of Energy’s goal to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

“There is no such thing as clean energy or dirty energy,” Wright said last year.

However, the Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy says clean energy, like solar and wind, create little or no carbon emissions, the greenhouse gases responsible for human-amplified global warming.

What ABC News purposefully ignores is that the solar panels and wind turbines are…NOT recyclable! Secondly, the amount of concrete, metal rebar, etc that it takes to put one single wind turbine in place is unequivocally NOT environmentally friendly, now or in the future. The so-called carbon emissions it takes to put a solar or wind field into place is astronomical and definitely not climate friendly. 

Chris Wright has been outspoken about how the climate cultists have turned actual dialogue on it’s head to further their asinine economy killing agendas. He was responsible for brilliantly schooling North Face for their virtue signaling on the climate!

Greta Thunberg must be clutching all the pearls right now.

Chris Wright is a guy who understands the realities of the energy industry. The world runs primarily on oil and gas. Heavy reliance on wind and solar has caused serious problems in Europe, which is why they are reverting back to oil, gas, and even nuclear power. It was an interesting move and signal mere days after Trump’s election that the EU declared they’d possibly dump the LNG contract with Russia and buy from the U.S. instead.

The media is claiming Wright’s messaging against climate change and his lack of government experience is disqualifying. The CURRENT Energy Secretary is Jennifer Granholm. She hates gas stoves, loves electric vehicles (even as a major EV bus company went bankrupt), was gleeful over high gas prices, chatted with China while working to drain our Strategic Oil Reserves, and will shove the little people aside to get her car charged.

Chris Wright wants to bring energy sobriety to the industry. He’s been advocating that for a long time.

And, has even taken on the SEC for trying to impose a climate change rule on corporations, especially those within the energy industry. 

Energy independence is a plus for our economy on all levels. It will be interesting to have Chris Wright at the helm of the Department of Energy for the next four years. 

I’m not sure the climate cultists have enough pearls to clutch over this.
