Ilhan Omar, while questioning Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on Monday, spoke her mind and showed us all once again how she really feels about this country and Israel.

Ilhan Omar was very clear and unambiguous in her statement. She didn’t stutter, she said it straight out. This was no slip of the tongue, this was Ilhan directly defining the United States and Israel as terrorist organizations.
Understandably, Anthony Blinken was caught off guard by her statement/question and stuttered his way through an answer.
Once her commentary became known, people started calling her out on it, and rightfully so. Twelve Jewish Democrats issued a statement.
They were pretty blunt about it.
“Equating the United States and Israel to Hamas and the Taliban is as offensive as it is misguided,” the statement said. “Ignoring the differences between democracies governed by the rule of law and contemptible organizations that engage in terrorism at best discredits one’s intended argument and at worst reflects deep-seated prejudice.”
Ilhan Omar on multiple occasions has slammed the United States, has callously dismissed the 9/11 terrorist attacks as “some people did something,” blamed American soldiers for Black Hawk Down, and tweeted multiple anti-semitic tropes. She’s been called out every time, and yet she persists.
Why? Because, even though she came here as a refugee with her parents, and has been given every advantage, she hates this country with a passion of a thousand blazing suns. Her every effort, her every word and deed is nothing but a bid to undermine this Republic and turn it into a Socialist/Marxist nightmare.
Needless to say, Ilhan wasn’t amused by the fact that several of her fellow Democrats called her out. Her response?
“Citing an open case against Israel, US, Hamas & Taliban in the ICC isn’t comparison or from ‘deeply seated prejudice’. You might try to undermine these investigations or deny justice to their victims but history has thought us that the truth can’t be hidden or silenced forever,” Omar tweeted on Wednesday.
But Omar, one of the first Muslim women elected to Congress, also implied late Wednesday night that her fellow Democrats were unfairly singling her out because of inherent anti-Muslim bias and engaging in false tropes that Muslims support terrorism.
“The islamophobic tropes in this statement are offensive,” Omar tweeted. “The constant harassment & silencing from the signers of this letter is unbearable.”
Oh, I see. So, because there are cases before the ICC involving Israel and the U.S., it’s perfectly ok to deem them a terrorist organization? I don’t think so. Furthermore, for her to pull the anti-Muslim bias card and wave it madly in defense of her indefensible statements is laughable and so on point for her. She essentially told us that SHE can make whatever anti-semitic, anti-U.S., and anti-Israel statements she wants, but if YOU call her out…it is YOU who is the bigot.
Fabulous deflection there. Awesome.
In Ilhan’s world, all was back to normal until Nancy Pelosi and the House leadership decided to have a word with one of their problem children. As The Hill reports, they needed to squelch this controversy right quick.
“Legitimate criticism of the policies of both the United States and Israel is protected by the values of free speech and democratic debate. And indeed, such criticism is essential to the strength and health of our democracies,” the Democratic leadership team said in its statement.
“But drawing false equivalencies between democracies like the U.S. and Israel and groups that engage in terrorism like Hamas and the Taliban foments prejudice and undermines progress toward a future of peace and security for all.
This statement was issued while Ilhan’s fellow Squad kiddies were leaping to her defense. Cori Bush made it all about her, Rashida Tlaib was apoplectic, and AOC tweeted out this little gem.

They have no concept for the danger they put her in by skipping private conversations & leaping to fueling targeted news cycles around her.
AOC wants us to ignore the fact that Ilhan is ON THE RECORD with her commentary during Blinken’s hearing. Her statement is now and forever a part of the Congressional Record, so AOC don’t you dare try to gaslight us into believing this was just a misguided private conversation.

Oh yes, yes you were. You know it, the House leadership knows it, and WE know it. You absolutely WERE identifying the United States and Israel as terrorist organizations. Ilhan Omar meant what she said. She’s just pissed because Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the House leadership called her out. *Side note: I would’ve LOVED to been a fly on the wall for THAT conversation between Ilhan and Nancy!
Ilhan Omar may have issued a clarification, but the fact remains, she firmly believes that this Republic and Israel are terrorist organizations.

The Democrat Party has lots of younger people who think like Omar, just think of all the support BDM has on our college campuses. There is a very real chance that Omar, AOC, Tlaib, et al. will someday control the party. If that happens, Israel will lose much of the support it has in Congress.
Israel has about 10 years to resolve its problems with the Palestinians. After that, an anti-Israeli Democrat Party might impose a solution.
