This has got to be the saddest Christmas holiday party that the DNC has ever put on.

The donors who attended knew what they were getting, but are apparently so needy and desperate that they just have to go “rub shoulders” with those in power, even after a massive election loss. Those in attendance had to listen to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris – plus Jill Biden and Doug Emhoff – blow proverbial smoke up their asses about how they’re really “historic” and they did so much for this country. In fact, Joe Biden claims, he is leaving the country in better shape than he found it.

Both Biden and Harris thanked party members for all that they did for Harris’ presidential campaign effort and Biden’s presidency over the past four years.

Biden, who has just over a month left in office, talked about his legacy and the lasting effect he wanted to leave on America.

“The one thing I’ve always believed about public service, and especially about the presidency, is the importance of asking yourself: ‘Have we left the country in better shape than we found it?'” Biden said during his remarks.

“Today, I can say, with [every] fiber of my being, of all my heart, the answer to that question is a resounding ‘yes.’ Because of all of you assembled here, we can be proud we’re leaving America in a better place today than we came here four years ago,” Biden continued.

I think I can say, with every fiber of MY being, that if this was true, then Joe Biden wouldn’t have been forced out of the race in July, and Kamala Harris would not have spectacularly face-planted by losing all seven swing states, the popular vote, and the Electoral College. But not only is Biden trying to sell us this tall tale, he’s also now encouraging Kamala to try again.

“It’s also an incredible honor to serve with someone of immense character, as she demonstrated through her entire career: Kamala Harris. I knew what I was doing, asking her to be my vice president. I knew her. I knew of her. I knew about her. I knew her record. I trusted her. She always served this country with purpose and integrity, and she always will. And you’re not going anywhere, kid, because you’re not going to let you go.”

Yeah, Joe was fighting with the teleprompter again, and also was doing the “old man yelling his lines loudly” act. It’s also clear that Biden still suffers from delusions of competence, as also bragged that his “campaign” was “scandal free.”

Okay, first of all, is Joe talking about his campaign or his administration? Because neither one of them was “scandal free.” The campaign deliberately covered up his cognitive decline by running him from a basement in 2020, and then tried to do the same thing in 2024. When Biden pretty much fell apart on the debate stage, they claimed he had a cold, they said he “overprepared.” But once the media couldn’t cover for Grandpa Joe any more, the truth began leaking out. And even after Biden had left the race, Kamala Harris could not explain why he was no longer running for president. But this is SCANDAL FREE, everyone!

Now, let’s talk about the Biden administration, which has been riddled with scandals. AFGHANISTAN, for starters – the botched evacuation, the death of 13 servicemembers at Abbey Gate, the lack of vetting of who was brought into the country as “refugees,” the amount of military equipment left behind, and the drone killing of an innocent family on the way out. What about the piles of cash that Biden keeps shoveling into Ukraine, the money that the administration has allowed Iran to have (and unfroze YET AGAIN after the election), and the backroom pressure applied to our ally Israel to not be so mean to Hamas after the October 7th massacre. How about the Case of the Missing Defense Secretary, that Biden then didn’t fire? How about the attempt to force every working person in the country to be vaccinated for COVID by using OSHA? Or the attempt to forgive student loan debt by executive fiat? And let’s not forget the family German Shepherds who like to bite Secret Service agents, the cocaine in the White House, and the derelict asshole that Joe Biden calls his son, whom he JUST PARDONED to cover any and all things that might have happened over the last eleven years? That doesn’t even begin to cover the massive pardons and commutations that Joe Biden has now been handing out wholesale to some truly awful people.

Wow. Imagine if the mainstream media had treated any or all of these things as SCANDALS. Let’s go Brandon, indeed. This feckless lame duck, the “elderly man with a poor memory,” cannot have his pasty butt permanently planted in the sands of Rehoboth Beach fast enough.

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris had sobered up enough to speak to the DNC donors. Is it really a party if Kamala doesn’t bring some word salad to share?

The rumors are flying that Kamala may just skip trying to run for governor of California in 2026, and try again for the Democrat nomination for president in 2028. We who have seen her campaign, both in a primary and in a presidential campaign, know that she will be roasted alive by her fellow Democrats in an open primary. But hey, who are we to tell her no, or the donors that their money will be wasted if they donate to her?

Speaking of wasted money, how much did the DNC spend to throw this “holiday party” for the donors? The DNC Finance Chair, Chris Korge, was the first speaker and bragged that they had raised $2.15 billion in this last election cycle (video of these comments, and of all the speakers, can be seen here, if you have 33 minutes to waste). Well, not much return for investment for that money, was there? The Harris campaign ran through money like water and still lost, and Democrats lost the Senate and failed to retake the House. Were those comments supposed to encourage donors to keep coughing up cash? Probably. These are true believers in the audience, and they want to be patted on the head by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and told that it’s okay that all that money was blown on losing.

Just five more weeks of this. Still plenty of time for “scandal,” huh, Joe? Probably shouldn’t count your chickens before they hatch – or in Biden’s case, his grandchildren after hanging the Christmas stockings.
