The first win against the TQ+ cult in Texas was outlawing the medical mutilation and sterlization of children under of the guise of “gender-affirming care”. The second win was nailing Texas Children’s Hospital for violating the law and committing Medicaid fraud.
And the settlement reached between TCH and Texas AG Ken Paxton is stunning.
The largest children’s hospital in the United States will create the country’s first “detransition clinic” to undo gender-affirming treatments for transgender youth and fire five doctors who performed the procedures to settle a joint investigation by the state and President Trump’s administration.
The US Justice Department and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Republican, said in separate announcements that Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston would also pay $10 million for allegedly billing the state’s Medicaid program for gender-affirming treatment prohibited by state law.
Our nation has seen, over the past couple of decades, the rise in medical experimentation on children that is as alarming as it is unprecedented. Between 2020 and 2024 alone, 13,994 minors have received gender affirming sex-denying medical interventions, including over 5700 minors surgically mutilated.
Medically mutilating and sterilizing kids got to be pretty big business. Surely, it was something to brag about:
Vanderbilt opened its trans clinic in 2018. During a lecture the same year, Dr. Shayne Taylor explained how she convinced Nashville to get into the gender transition game. She emphasized that it's a "big money maker," especially because the surgeries require a lot of "follow ups" pic.twitter.com/zedM7HBCBe

“Trans” may be a money-making game to some, but to others, it means being a medicalized construct who will be under constant pressure never to complain. Many who detransition, like Chloe Cole, take huge risks to bring their stories to the public. Not only were they ignored by doctors the minute they expressed regret, they are treated with hostility by the so-called “trans community” that once love-bombed them into submission.

One would have to have a heart of stone to not be moved by that young man.
Then again, who ever claimed the TQ+ fanatics ever had a heart?
A Turning Point USA event at the University of Washington criticizing gender transitioning was canceled due to mounting pressure from left-wing activist groups planning a major demonstration, as well as some threats of violence against the conservative hosts. (snip)
Most significantly, the UW Divestment Campaign, Students for a Democratic Society, and the Seattle Palestine Action Network called on the school to “cancel all Turning Point USA events,” revoke its club status, ban future events, and denounce the group’s alleged hate and “stand in solidarity with trans students and workers.”
The groups called on supporters to “bring flags, drums, or anything to make noise!”
Such lovely people.
And even as Texas Children’s Hospital barely avoided criminal consequences by agreeing to help kids detransition, kids who were victims of the Trans Industrial Complex, TCH’s first reaction to the public announcement was to make nasty …
Texas Children’s Hospital says it settled with @KenPaxtonTX and the DOJ to avoid “endless and costly litigation,” while maintaining it has been "compliant with all laws.”

… right along with other TQ+ fanatics who flip the script
Pro-transgender activist groups reacted with predictable outrage. In a statement to the Texas Tribune, Andrea Segovia of the Transgender Education Network of Texas expressed particular alarm about the detransition-support clinic:
“When trans people decide to detransition, it is because of social pressures from their job, from their friends, from their family, from their government,” Segovia said. “It is not normally because of healthcare complications.”
That’s not delusion, that downright evil.
Let’s continue to make them pay. One detransition clinic is not enough.
