A popular LGBT Republican group, the Log Cabin Republicans, just removed the “T” from their advocacy, stating the Transgender movement has gone a bit too far.

The Log Cabin Republicans are a prominent gay group advocating for Republican and Conservative values. Just the other day, they’ve declared themselves an “LGB” group. Minus the “T”. This, announced by Ross Hemminger, the president of the Log Cabin Republicans (LCR).

From an OpEd, published by TownHall:

At the time, we did not believe that we would find ourselves where we are today. The transgender movement has ceased focusing on adults at all — nearly all of their efforts and those of their aligned special interest groups focus on minors. They push schools to teach radical gender ideology; they want biological men in women’s sports regardless of the consequences; perhaps most offensively, they support gender reassignment treatments for minors, often without the knowledge or consent of the parents, knowing full well these treatments are mostly irreversible.”-Ross Hemming, LCR

Hemminger blamed the transgender movement for waning public interest in supporting gay and lesbian issues. He is not wrong. Suddenly, gay and lesbian issues became eclipsed by some white man in a dress who insists upon changing in a woman’s locker room because of his :identity”. Or medical professionals who advocate for harmful drug protocols and surgeries for children who cannot even add one plus one. Or teachers who insist upon peppering curriculum for Kindergarteners with Trans Story time. Or delusional, self-absorbed celebrities who think their “trans” children are nothing but the next fashion accessory.

This removal of the letter “T”, is ahead of the organization’s 50th anniversary. According to The Independent:

The move aligns with the rollback of transgender rights since President Donald Trump returned to office.”-The Independent

Read: The rollback of victimhood. The rollback of men encroaching upon female spaces in the workplace, in sports and in other sacred, women-only spaces.

In 2020, Haven Wilvich, who identifies as a ‘nonbinary trans woman,’ filed a complaint with the Washington State Human Rights Commission (WSHRC) after allegedly being turned away from Olympus Spa in Lynnwood, Washington, for having a penis. Olympus, which has another location in Tacoma, is a traditional Korean spa that offers full-body scrubs and massages, and requires nudity in its pool area, which is why it caters to a single-sex clientele.”-Billy Binion, Reason Magazine

No, Haven. Some women do not want to see a full-blown, pre-op penis on plain sight while relaxing at an all-women’s spa. It seems as though the pendulum has swung so far in 2020 that a move back to normalcy is welcome. The frustration was growing amongst the LGB community for a while now. Corporations like Anheuser-Busch, Target and Disney went too far. Why the shift?

One answer is young, expensively educated marketing executives who live in a bubble of class and generation.

At their fancy colleges, they learned there’s a spectrum of genders, unrelated to biological sex.

And they learned it’s cool to be ‘queer’ — which has nothing to do with being gay but means, rather, that one’s identity is, in some way, in tension with mainstream norms.”-Bruce Bower, The New York Post

In other words, it’s cool to have others pay attention to them.. Whether they are the young people themselves embracing this movement in their own identity and expression or the people huddled around them in support. Being gay or being lesbian won’t get a human much attention these days. Being a guy who claims he is a trans woman who wants to be a lesbian will grant him all the attention and sympathy from others and him “protected class” status as he stinks up the women’s restroom with Taco Bell farts and stealing the tampons.

It’s okay, ladies. He does by she/they pronouns and is wearing a dress.

The shift also highlights a step away from another dark and dangerous side of the “T” section of the LGBT movement-the trans-ing of children.

A sane society doesn’t medically mangle cognitively immature youth while they are still growing. A sane “community” does not advocate for that. A sane person does not advocate for that. THANK YOU Log Cabin Republicans. And shame on you Dan.
