Yesterday in the midst of all the whistleblower shouting, AOC rolled out her newest legislation called “A Just Society.” According to AOC, climate change and economic inequality are the greatest threats of all time, so this is her solution.
Keep in mind, she’s already proposed the Green New Deal which would tax the hell out of us all. Now she rolls out this legislation, six bills in all, that propose to make everyone and everything equal and get rid of economic injustice.
“These stark inequalities are being used by those in power to amplify fear and anger in our communities and further divide us. We must act boldly and swiftly to reverse the corrosive effects extreme inequality and poverty are having on our society.
A Just Society aims to ensure that we are on a path towards shared prosperity for all. A just society provides a living wage, safe working conditions, and healthcare. A just society acknowledges the value of immigrants to our communities. A just society guarantees safe, comfortable, and affordable housing. By strengthening our social and economic foundations, we are preparing ourselves to embark on the journey to save our planet by rebuilding our economy and cultivate a just society. This comes from someone who freaked out when she realized that a lot of our food actually grows in DIRT! This legislation comes from someone who nearly had a meltdown over a garbage disposal.
But never you mind all that. AOC is here to tell you that these pieces of legislation will fix this country by putting the government in control of EVERYTHING!
Here’s a synopsis of each one.
A Just Society Creates a Place to Prosper: Put onerous regulations on landlords, set rent controls in place for all (see California’s new rent control idiocy), cap rental increases, and renters who face eviction get legal counsel.
A Just Society Is Merciful: Doesn’t matter what the crime was, any criminal released can’t be denied any federal funds.
A Just Society Uplifts Our Workers: will create a “worker-friendly” score sheet for federal contractors and give PREFERENCE to worker-friendly contractors who score high.
A Just Society Guarantees the Economic, Social and Cultural Rights of All: work conditions, unions, food, clothing, along with mental and physical health would fall under the jurisdiction of the United Nations.
A Just Society Embraces Our Immigrants: The federal government will have to give aid and assistance to ANY immigrant no matter his or her status.
Her tweet yesterday is how I know about this toxic mess.
Big day!
We’re rolling out our next major project: A Just Society.
It’s a 6-piece suite:
1. Recognizing Poverty Act
2. Place to Prosper Act
3. Mercy in Re-Entry Act
4. Embrace Act
5. Uplift Our Workers Act
6. Ratify the UN Covenant on Economic, Social, & Cultural Rights— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) September 25, 2019
Look again at the synopsis above. Do you see what I see? Socialism all wrapped up in a glittery bow.
Who will pay for this? Hell, let’s start by asking how much this will cost? Just like with her GND, it’s evident she believes that money magically grows on those nice government trees.
So you're vehemently against America having a prosperous and educated work force. Good to know.

The thing is, no government socialistic program will EVER give us a prosperous and educated workforce. Prosperity, innovation, and employment comes from the private sector.
Furthermore, the United Nations should be given ZERO say in how We The People run our Republic.
Putting rent controls in place won’t solve the homeless problems across the country. Letting immigrants, regardless of status (legal or illegal) have unlimited access to federal funds …what could possibly go wrong? The same with criminals out on parole.
When cow farts fail…
Go for plan B to push your Socialist agenda.

It isn’t that her cow fart, airplane destroying resolution failed. Nope, as I’m now seeing it, that was her opening shot. It led up to this group of bills. A package of ugly society-destroying socialism hiding inside a bunch of cool sounding words all tied up in a neat red bow.
“The most terrifying words in the English language are: I’m from the government and I’m here to help.” – Ronald Reagan
Well, we now have a new set of terrifying words to add to that.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her “A Just Society” legislation.
The Schiff clown show deserves our scorn. But we must also keep an eye on those who will be working with AOC to push this ugly socialism crap through Congress.
No matter how much lipstick in the world is used, the “A Just Society” legislation is nothing but a greedy socialistic pig wallowing in the mud.

This bimbo has the approximate IQ of a cow fart..
She should quit pretending to be a legislator and get a job in porn.
she would be homeless in a week
A Just Society Creates a Place to Prosper
A Free society ALLOWS a place to prosper.
A Just Society Is Merciful
No, a Just society is JUST.
A Merciful society is Merciful.
(And, please learn the difference between “society” and “government” in a free country. They are NOT the same. A society should be merciful, a government should be just.)
A Just Society Uplifts Our Workers
A Free society doesn’t have to “uplift” its workers.
A Just Society Guarantees the Economic, Social and Cultural Rights of All
There are no economic rights except the right to property (that you earn the right to buy) and the right to pursue happiness. There are no social or cultural rights, except the First Amendment. And our just government is supposed to guarantee those things – it’s why we have a Bill of Rights.
These rights (as far as gov’t is concerned) do NOT include things like housing or a job or an income or to have someone validate your existence (or your perversion).
A Just Society Embraces Our Immigrants
A Just government has borders and enforces them, so that they can actually do all the other stuff for their citizens. A hospitable society welcomes legal immigrants with open arms, and shuts out invaders as a threat.
give PREFERENCE to worker-friendly contractors who score high
OMG. I have worked in gov’t contracting, and this would add significantly to the burden of trying to contract companies that can actually do the f*ing work. It’s hard enough now with all the folderol scoring contract proposals. This would make box-checkers an even stronger constituency, and exclude the people who actually know what they’re doing.
the jurisdiction of the United Nations
But don’t you dare call them anti-American! Just because they want to give up our sovereignty to an international body of grifters and kleptocrats, that doesn’t mean they’re anti-American at all! *smdh*
The federal government will have to give aid
Sorry, but there’s a fundamental problem right there. The federal gov’t shouldn’t be giving aid to any citizen. Or especially any immigrant. Period.
Prosperity, innovation, and employment comes from the private sector.
I’ll go you one better: those things come from individuals. In socialism there is no individual.
cool sounding words
I disagree. They’re all very marxian words, and mostly obviously so. She’s not even trying to hide it.
We really need to do two things: 1) educate the electorate so they understand why freedom is good and why and how they should defend it zealously and jealously, and 2) demonstrate to those who would overthrow our way of life just how serious we are about it. (Home Depot and Lowes have the necessary items.)
Trump said to go back where you came from and practice what you preach by imposing these ideals/principles Then that country will be so wonderful you’ll never want to return to the horrible US.
What are “cultural rights”? Is that like saying the U.S. was founded as a white patriarchy, so only white male landowners should be allowed to vote because anything beyond that is cultural appropriation?
No. I think it means (or should mean) live and let live. Enjoy your culture in your home, not in the public square. And it doesn’t mean erasing or rewriting history.
When your beliefs inform you what you need to do (or not do), it’s probably OK. When your beliefs inform you what I need to do (or not do), it’s probably not.
I would not worry about AOC: Her opponents , no matter Democrat or Republican will
SOUNDLY TROUNCE HER.
She only has to speak, to confirm what we already know.
This woman is clueless. Her lack of education is evident in almost every statement she makes.
Reminds me of INVISIBLE Liz Warren, Senator from my state. Has passed nothing, believes in
open borders, taxing the rich…(Rich People own companies, that employ millions of Americans)
AOC: She’s history in 2020.
AND WARREN DOESNT STAND A CHANCE …..AGAINST ANYONE
The problem is, David, that more and more people like her are voting, despite their lack of critical thinking skills. That’s the real danger to our Republic and to our freedom.
A while back, you were allowed to (and encouraged to) feel good about doing something to benefit your fellow humans and the world in the long term.
Today, personal benevolence is passé. You are supposed to feel guilty or ashamed if you do not do everything possible for anyone else’s NEEDs. One can only be ‘benevolent’ when one demands or compels someone else’s actions through shame or taxation (mooching and looting if you will). It’s “selfish” to dervie any pleasure for “doing the right thing” on their own accord. You know, they could always have done more!!!
We humans need and benefit from beliefs that encourage us to take a hit in the short term for long-term benefits. It just works better when “doing the right thing” is motivated by a desire to feel good, not to avoid shame or guilt foisted by others.
The shift from personal accountability to oneself (and one’s beliefs) to induced responsibility to the mob’s expectations is a big part of this problem. Do the right thing because you believe it’s right.
“Resist” the mob that’s happy to tell you how to live your life. Show others by your example.
