Football players get all the attention for kneeling during the National Anthem, but do you recall that there was a baseball player who protest-kneeled during the anthem?
Yeah, there was one. Just one. It was Bruce Maxwell, catcher for the Oakland Athletics, and he got lots of attention for his stunt from media like ESPN.
But Maxwell wasn’t content with the attention he got from kneeling. Hitting a single wasn’t good enough — he had to try for a double. Or maybe he wanted to be baseball’s version of Colin Kaepernick, kind of like a social justice warrior behind home plate. So when he was in Alabama last week, he complained that a Trump-supporting restaurant waiter refused to serve him.
The restaurant called foul on that pitch.
Matt Henry, the waiter accused by Maxwell, responded:
“He is outright lying. This is really upsetting as he was given full service, I didn’t even know who Bruce Maxwell was. This all started because I carded his friend who wanted to order a beer.”
The restaurant manager, Ann Whalen, confirmed Henry’s story. He had come to Whalen asking what to do about a customer without a valid ID who wanted a beer, and she ordered him to deny the customer the drink. To serve him in Alabama could risk jail time, she said. Later, when asked by the media, Whalen said she also didn’t know who the heck Maxwell was.
Well, now karma just bit Maxwell on the tuchas. On Saturday night, Bruce Maxwell was arrested in Scottsdale, AZ, on a gun charge. It seems he pointed a gun at a food delivery worker — a woman, no less.
What is it with this guy and food service employees? Doesn’t he realize that on the employment food chain, they’re down near the bottom? That their wages are low, and that they rely on tips? Where’s his compassion for the low-pay workers of the world? I guess they need to serve his agenda along with his food.
So let’s look at this chain of events. Maxwell takes a knee during the National Anthem. Then he falsely accuses a waiter of discrimination. Finally he points a gun at a food delivery worker.
That’s three strikes. Maxwell, you’re out!
This behavior is to be expected from the semi-literate stick and ball jocks that way too many people look to for guidance. Big problem is that they are portrayed as crusaders and downtrodden. Another problem: many times their IQ is the number on their jersey.
You’d think after getting smacked in the face with the bullshit flag in Alabama, he’d maintain a lower profile. Nope. The douchebaggery is strong in this one!
These people believe (not think, a skill beyond them) that they are special and anyone who sees through their BS is the privileged, evil oppressor of the various victim classes. Them and the horse they road in on.
What’s a “food delivery worker” in English?
Hahahahahhah.. POS… not surprising… as someone above said, his IQ is probably his jersey number… Leftist morons gonna moron..
