But Donald did not make a witless remark. He made a little joke, no, not a classic, that acknowledged that the other guy actually earned the Purple Heart, not him. There’s nothing witless about that. Indelicate…maybe.

You *care* so timidly that someone might think you are slightly unkind, or biased, or judgmental. Donald knows how completely ridiculous such caring is. He does NOT care if the PC speech police get the vapors over his harmless little joke. Probably, he is glad, because repeatedly upsetting the speech police, faster than they can recover, has gotten him where he is today.

How about YOU wake the heck up, regain your bearings, and calm down about harmless jokes? Let Donald worry about what the vast herd of constipated snowflakes over on the left feels about it. Do not join that flock of Grundys.

We *want* them all upset. We *want* them off-balance. We *want* him to shove their their political correctness and their prissy speech codes up their frozen little bungholes.

I am sick and tired of everybody fainting away because a New York construction boss didn’t act or speak like Queen Elizabeth having tea with the Pope.

I want him to have directness, and energy, and empathy. I want him to say what he thinks, without fear of criticism by the PC press. I want him to be an incisive man of action, who puts the American people first. It looks like he is ready to do that.

We are in a major national crisis here, and you are whining pitifully that the gladiator who is charging into battle for you has a spot on his scabbard.

What the devil is your problem. Get a grip, honey. The vast, vicious Clinton Machine is gearing up to throw *everything* they have at this man – and at us. Don’t add a thumb weight to their side.

People are sometimes bothered by Trump’s comments. I am too, but not quite as often as others.

Trump, is not a polished and practiced politician. He’s not skilled at saying just the right thing … while saying nothing at all … that people want to hear. He’s unfiltered most of the time, and yes that’s gotten him in hot water.

He speaks his mind, probably an asset in the world he comes from … high level, high stakes business. In his world I’m guessing confidence and truthfulness carry more weight than being able to dazzle the masses with bull.

In time he’ll learn to hold back, just a bit. He still needs to be able to dismantle the media … that hates him with a passion. Plus he needs to be an example to others that political correctness does not control us.

I do however, believe he genuinely cares about America and us, the little guys. There is no other reason a man his age, with billions and a world class business need put himself through the dirty political wringer that is presidential politics.

I give Trump a break when he says or does something that we normally never see in politics simply because he isn’t a politician. There is no rule that says only career politicians may run for president … in fact we’re where we are because they have.

When’s the last time you actually heard a Washington DC politician say “America first”? Been a long time.

Anyway, my two cents.
