Another day on the campaign trail, another day in which Donald Trump has a Steve Urkel moment.

Trump was at a rally in Virginia earlier today, when a veteran, identified as Lt. Col. Louis Dorfman, handed him his Purple Heart.

To which Trump responded, “I always wanted to get the purple heart. This was much easier.”

Oy. It was the kind of response that elicits a face palm. Or as my four-year-old grandson says,”Slam head!”

Who does this? Well, Trump of course. But watch the entire video. Trump made a truly stupid remark, but he also seemed really moved by the gesture.

Then there’s Hillary Clinton.
