Let the tantrums commence! The DOJ made it’s move this afternoon and issued subpoenas for Tim Walz, Jacob Frey, and Keith Ellison.

The Justice Department on Tuesday served subpoenas to the offices of multiple Democratic officials in Minnesota, including Gov. Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, in connection with a probe into an alleged conspiracy to impede federal immigration officers, three sources familiar with the matter told CBS News.

The subpoenas represent a significant escalation between the Justice Department and Minnesota officials, who have clashed over the Trump administration’s intense crackdown against immigrants living in the state illegally. They were served on the same day that Attorney General Pam Bondi arrived for a visit in Minnesota, multiple sources told CBS.

The subpoenas were sent in connection with a Justice Department investigation into state and local officials to see if they may have conspired to impede federal officers from discharging their duties, sources said.

Of course, the DOJ has to follow the law and the process therein. However, it’s glaringly obvious to the average observer that there’s no conspiracy to impede ICE from doing their jobs. They are just flat out doing it. 

Keith Ellison won’t even lift a finger to prosecute the rampant fraud in Minnesota, and for darned sure he won’t go after the illegals who are also rapists, murders, pedophiles, or child molesters. 

Furthermore, it’s highly evident that their impediment is to allow the mobs to stand in the way of ICE or invade a church service and not do a damned thing about it.

This isn’t political theatre Timmy. This is YOU not lifting a damned finger to help remove dangerous illegals from your state. The families that are scared, especially the children, are the families who the mob harassed in church on Sunday! 

Federal law regarding ICE is clear and has been since BEFORE the Clinton Administration. ICE’s job is to remove illegals from the U.S., and there are very clear federal statutes that even the Democrats helped pass that give that guidance. 

But that doesn’t matter to Keith Ellison.

He KNEW Don Lemon was going to be part of the mob invading Cities Church. And he did nothing. Which is rich coming from him due to his previous stance on the FACE Act.

Jacob Frey is throwing his own tantrum over this. 

“When the federal government weaponizes its power to try to intimidate local leaders for doing their jobs, every American should be concerned. We shouldn’t have to live in a country where people fear that federal law enforcement will be used to play politics or crack down on local voices they disagree with,” Frey added.

“In Minneapolis, we won’t be afraid. We know the difference between right and wrong and, as Mayor, I’ll continue doing the job I was elected to do: keeping our community safe and standing up for our values,” the Democratic mayor added.

Horseshit. I mean seriously, that is a metric ton of horseshit. 

Minnesota’s leaders are NOT doing their jobs. Walz, Frey, and Ellison aren’t stopping the rabid protestors from going after federal officers. They haven’t issued one single arrest warrant for any of the mob, including Don Lemon, who broke several federal laws when they invaded Cities Church. 

And because of their willful inaction, they have chosen wrong again, and are causing harm to THEIR communities as a result. You would think they would’ve learned from the Democrats in the 1960’s when JFK Jr had to mobilize federal agents and the military to escort young black children to school in Alabama. But nooooo. Here we are again, different story, same result. 

The Minnesota democrats have chosen the side of criminals and illegals over Americans. In fact, some are doubling down on church invasions. 

State Rep. Leigh Finke, a Democrat from St. Paul, posted on Facebook following an anti-ICE mob storming a local church service, calling the incident “essential” and saying that it “must continue.”

“Actions like this—nonviolent resistance in the face of government inaction or oppression—are essential,” Finke wrote in a Facebook post. “And they must continue until I.C.E. is out of our state, the administration is out of the White House, and dignity and humanity for all of our neighbors is achieved.”

He doesn’t believe federal law applies to him or his anti-ICE pals. Wonder if a subpoena is in the works for him as well?

Frey, Walz, Ellison and the rest can throw all the tantrums they want. The fact is, their tantrums make it abundantly clear that they know they are in the wrong. The political spin will be amusing to watch over the next few days. 

Now I’m just waiting for the arrest warrants on Don Lemon and his rabid mob pals.
