Whether we like it or not, Joe Biden is still President. He may have moved beyond lame duck to a dead duck walking, but we can’t forget the guy still holds the nuclear codes. And yesterday, during a campaign event, he dropped a line that had everyone scrambling.
Retiring President Biden stunned listeners Tuesday by saying his predecessor Donald Trump should be locked up — 14 days before the presidential election in which Trump is the Republican nominee.
“If I said this five years ago, you’d lock me up: We gotta lock him up,” Biden, 81, said during a visit to a Democratic campaign office in Concord, NH, the Granite State’s capital.
After a four-second pause during which his audience enthusiastically applauded, Biden added in an apparent backtrack attempt: “politically, lock him up — lock him out, that’s what we’ve got to do.”
Well, in spite of Joe’s cognitive issues, you can darn well take it to the bank that he meant what he said. His entire Administration has been weaponized against those they don’t agree with or like, ESPECIALLY President Trump. These days Joe truly has no filter and spoke the truth loudly.
This statement from Joe comes at a time when it is looking more and more like the annointed one’s campaign is on the skids. Suddenly Kamala is no longer on the campaign trail as it’s going to take her three days to prep for two friendly interviews and a safe town hall at CNN with more scripted questions. Gwen Walz has disappeared. A prominent Muslim Democrat was kicked out of a major campaign event in Detroit on Monday, Tim Walz tried to claim Elon Musk is a dipshit with weird dance moves, and suddenly Obama thinks that this election season is running on Covid??
Former President Barack Obama said Tuesday the election “will be tight” because of the COVID-19 pandemic — admitting that he understands “why folks are looking to shake things up” to change the economy.
“Now we know this election is going to be tight. It’s going to be tight here in Wisconsin. It’s going to be tight all across the country, and it’s going to be tight because a lot of Americans are still struggling,” Obama said at a rally in Madison, Wis., two weeks before Election Day.
That was definitely a head scratcher. But again, Joe said the quiet part super loudly yesterday afternoon. Lock Trump up! That is something that Democrats have wanted from Day One. But no one was going to or was supposed to say it out loud. But HERE’S Joe!

What’s truly interesting and highly illuminating is what took place several hours later.
A counterpoint from a current Biden admin official: "For better or worse, no one is listening to him anymore and his words have little power and less reach. It’s a blip. Gone in any meaningful way by mid-day tomorrow if it makes it that long."

So here we have a former Biden official immediately advocating to yank Joe off the campaign trail and essentially lock him into the White House. Now that is a tacit admission that Joe is a detriment to the Harris-Walz campaign. IMO, it’s also an admission that Joe is a detriment…period.
Right after that, you have actual staffers tell Axios that Joe is…totally irrelevant and no one listens to him anymore.
Which would mean, no one in the Administration or the White House listens to Joe anymore. And I guess that means that no one on the world stage listens to Joe either.

Yes, where ARE the actual journalists on this? This is a huge admission and an incredibly worrying one given there’s around 20 weeks to go before Inauguration Day. Joe is still the elected President until then.

Yes, that is the actual coup as was selecting Kamala to take his place. The Trump campaign has responded accordingly.

The Trump campaign is correct in stating that, while Joe is the President his remarks should be condemned by everyone…INCLUDING Kamala. I’m quite certain they’ll have a long wait in regards to Kamala.
Joe Biden is essentially a dead duck walking in these last months of his Presidency. HOWEVER, that doesn’t mean we are out of the woods on this. In my opinion, Joe and everyone in the Biden Administration is putting us in danger every day with him at the helm. Joe wants Trump locked up. He said it loudly yesterday. No matter the spin, you’d better believe him.

He was also a Major in the Delaware Army National Guard and a Brigade Judge Advocate. His unit deployed to Iraq and he deployed with they. His father was elected VP and he came back for the inauguration and then went back to complete his tour.
How does this compare with Faux Sergeant Major Walz – who went Missing From Action so he could run for Congress.
