The New York Post has discovered another insidious layer to Joe Biden’s wide-open borders policy. Mass Amnesty for all.

While the Biden administration is attempting to look like it’s getting tough on the border, behind the scenes it’s operating a program of a “mass amnesty” for migrants, The Post can reveal.

Data shows that since 2022, more than 350,000 asylum cases filed by migrants have been closed by the US government if the applicants don’t have a criminal record or are otherwise not deemed a threat to the country.

This means that while the migrants are not granted or denied asylum — their cases are “terminated without a decision on the merits of their asylum claim” — they are removed from the legal system and no longer required to check in with authorities.

The move allows them to legally, indefinitely roam about the US without fear of deportation, effectively letting them slip through the cracks.

Look at that number again. 350,000 cases since 2022. How many in 2021? How many more by the end of this year? As the NY Post reports, to date in 2024, 114,000 cases have been “closed.” 

Since Biden assumed office, 77% of asylum seekers have been allowed to remain in the country, according to TRAC. That equates to 499,000 of the 648,000 who applied for asylum in the US in that time.

The current backlog of asylum cases stands at 3.5 million, and shaving more than 100,000 people a year off it makes the administration look better, sources told The Post.

Are we CERTAIN that none of those 350,000 have a clean record or are not a terrorist threat to the United States? This is from Fox News Bill Melugin just two days ago:

NEW: Per CBP sources, 3,593 Chinese nationals were apprehended after crossing the southern border illegally during the month of May, 98% of which (3,517) were in the San Diego sector.
770+ Jordanians, 670+ Turkish, and 500+ Mauritanians also were recorded crossing illegally in San Diego sector in May.
The Tucson, AZ sector retook the lead for the busiest sector in May w/ 33,000+ apprehensions, while San Diego sector came in second with 32,000+ apprehensions.

I’m told approximately 118,000 illegal aliens were apprehended by Border Patrol at the southern border during the month of May, 6,300+ of which were “special interest aliens” coming from countries with potential national security concerns.

We already know several on the terror watch list have been caught, but what we don’t know is how many have slipped through as gotaways. Nor do we know how many in the last few days have a problematic record.

This isn’t good. It’s bad. Very bad. Is it any wonder that those who work for the Border Patrol and ICE are overwhelmed and stressed to the max? Joe Biden’s policies, happily enacted by DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and his minions are throwing the doors wide open to illegal immigration the consequences be damned. 

Add to that, illegal immigrants are being handed work permits left and right with seemingly zero questions asked. 

The Biden administration is doing an end-run around the nation’s immigration laws — by giving migrants work permits in record numbers.

Since President Biden took office, more than 3.3 million migrants have been given a Employment Authorization Document (EAD), commonly known as the federal work permit, even though many didn’t even legally have the right to be America.

Yes, Joe is happily breaking yet another law. To heck with that 180 day wait rule, give ’em work permits ASAP!

In many cases, migrants are given the right to work before they are even given asylum, a green card or other legal documentation that allows them to stay.

Not so long ago, the work permit rightly was considered an unwanted immigration “pull factor” and a key to managing immigration flows.

In 1996, the Immigration and Naturalization Service introduced a new rule: Asylum seekers had to wait 180 days before applying for work.

As is pointed out in the article, only 479 illegal immigrants were given work permits from 2013 to 2020. However, from 2022 to now, how many have been handed work permits? Nearly 700,000. No, that is NOT a typo! 

Now, suddenly, while Joe is hovering in Delaware to keep an eye on Hunter’s gun trial, he might be fixing the mythical border problems. 

Scoop: The White House is reaching out to mayors who represent cities along the US southern border to potentially join Biden when he announces a border executive order, sources tell me + @cdechalus. The administration is preparing to announce the order as early as Tuesday.

Supposedly the plan is to drastically limit the number of asylum seekers at the border in an effort to get the Republicans to shut up about the illegal immigration issue.

Considering the fact that we now know that Joe has been handing out mass amnesty and work permits like candy, this move seems like pure gaslighting. Especially given the fact that Joe told us four months ago he’d shut down the border. 

I guess mass amnesty and granting work permits with no questions asked is one way to accomplish that.
