Alabama Freshman Senator Katie Britt will give the rebuttal speech after Joe Biden stumbles and mumbles his way through the State of the Union on Thursday.

Some even say this may be an opportunity for Katie to make her move and jockey herself into a VP position with Trump. We wrote about Katie Britt possibly being on the VP shortlist on the Victory Girls blog in January.

And here is The Hill writing about it now that we know that Senator Britt has been tapped to give the State of the Union rebuttal.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) said that Sen. Katie Britt’s (R-Ala.) rebuttal to President Biden’s State of the Union address is an opportunity to cast herself as another option to be former President Trump’s vice presidential pick.

Gingrich said that if the Alabama freshman senator “rises to the occasion,” she could insert herself on Trump’s list of potential running mates. – The Hill

Political pundits are so predictive. I knew instantly that when it was announced that she would be the Senator to respond to Joe’s State of the Union Address, the establishment would start sermonizing about her being added to Trump’s VP list.

Donald Trump endorsed Katie when she announced she was running to replace Richard Shelby when he announced he was retiring.

Call me biased, but I’d like to see her on the shortlist for Vice President picks. I’d prefer her to Vivik, Tulsi, and even Tm Scott.

Senator Britt likes to work instead of spending time in front of cameras. And it is what the American people want, to ensure we are thinking and working for America first.

State of Mess

Americans think we are in a State of Mess, thanks to Biden and his administration. People do not have faith in Joe Biden anymore; they think he’s either too old or has moved entirely to the far-left extremism of socialism. And most Americans see the United States as not united at all but completely divided.

I don’t know about global leadership, and I already mentioned that Trump endorsed her. Hence, it is possible to be in politics and work for America without being labeled as a white supremacist MAGA domestic terrorist while still having the Trump endorsement.

While Senator Katie Britt doesn’t spend much time speaking to the media, she did appear on Fox News. The following video is from a year ago; if you want to learn more about her, this is a great video to watch.

I have spent time online and on blogs condemning what the United States has become. I am guilty of that, yes. And it has been weighing on my mind a lot lately.

Instead of typing out gloom and doom for America, I hope to start writing about more upbeat and positive changes happening in America.

Writing about Katie Britt is a start. I am proud to have her as a Senator representing Alabama. She seems to have her head on straight and even pauses and thinks before she speaks. So, Thursday’s rebuttal speech is going to be awesome. I’ll be staying up past my bedtime to watch Senator Britt give her response.

Another person who pleasantly surprised me is Senator Tommy Tubberville. Alabama is showing up, ya’ll.
