The International Red Cross, as we are finding out, won’t visit any of the Israeli hostages. The Red Cross, whose MISSION includes trying to ensure hostages are cared for has not laid eyes on the hostages nor will they ensure critical medications are given to those who need it.
Families of Israelis being held hostage by Hamas were reprimanded by representatives of the Red Cross in a meeting earlier this week, with the Red Cross telling one family they need to “think about the Palestinian side,” KAN reported on Thursday night.
Roni and Simona, the parents of Doron Steinbrecher who was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists from Kfar Azza on October 7, were invited to a meeting with the Red Cross earlier this week.
Doron needs a medication she takes daily and her parents thought that the Red Cross was finally willing to transfer the medication to her, but instead they were sat down and reprimanded by representatives of the Red Cross.
Doron has been without her medications for SIXTY THREE DAYS now. It will be a miracle if she survives both the captivity and the lack of critical medications. This is not a one-off either. I’d been reading reports that the Red Cross wasn’t interested in visiting the hostages. And, once some of the hostages were released, the only role that organization played was to be a taxi service.
This is an organization that brags about its humanitarian efforts worldwide, yet they can’t bring themselves to visit the Israeli hostages? Instead they chose to lecture the families about the suffering of Palestinians.
“Think about the Palestinian side,” the representatives of the Red Cross told Simona, according to KAN. “It’s hard for the Palestinians, they’re being bombed.”
Simona expressed shock at the Red Cross’s behavior. “We left there as we entered: without new information, without something new, and with disappointment,” said Simona.
I would’ve been enraged at receiving a lecture instead of offers to help. Then again, the Red Cross has spent the last two months lecturing Israel and wanting this war that HAMAS started to stop because ‘muh innocent Palestinians.’
A month after the war between Israel and Hamas erupted, the Red Cross demanded Tuesday an end to the horrific suffering of civilians, and especially children, decrying a “moral failing”.
“One month on, civilians in Gaza and Israel are being forced to endure tremendous suffering and loss. This needs to stop,” the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said in a statement.
Let’s see, who is part and parcel of this “moral failing” you speak of? The Red Cross is front and center with their garbage lectures and refusal to visit the hostages.
The Red Cross and the Amnesty International increasingly let their political convictions and whims interfere with what they should be doing. We saw it when Russia attacked Ukraine, and we see it now. They all should resign in disgrace.

Supposedly, it is Hamas that is keeping the Red Cross away from the hostages.
If that is the case, then why were the families of the hostages treated to a lecture from representatives of that organization? I have my doubts given that Hamas has been fudging the numbers of dead and injured, and has long been known to use their own people as human shields.
To be sure, the IRFC (International Red Cross) has issued multiple press releases condemning the Hamas attack. This was their statement three days after October 7.
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is devastated to confirm the deaths of five members of our network due to the armed hostilities in Israel and the Gaza Strip.
Today, Wednesday, in two different incidents, ambulances were hit killing four Palestine Red Crescent paramedics who were helping those in need.
Previously, on Saturday, an ambulance driver of Magen David Adom in Israel lost his life while driving an ambulance to treat injured people.
The IFRC reiterates the call on all parties to respect their legal obligations under international humanitarian law. This is non-negotiable. Civilians, healthcare workers, health facilities and civilian infrastructure must be respected and protected at all times. They are not a target.
The IFRC, on behalf of all 191 National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, sends its deepest condolences to the families, friends and colleagues of those killed.
That’s it. Since then any statement issued has been a master class in “both sides” in regards to the conflict.
The American Red Cross still hasn’t seen the hostages held by Hamas despite it being one of the conditions of the cease fire… prompting allegations that the Red Cross is in ‘bed’ with the terror group… Can this actually be true?? @wachteltweet joins Dan. pic.twitter.com/hAwVlvcGru

If a condition of the ceasefire was that the IFRC was supposed to immediately start seeing the hostages, children among them, and they haven’t, then they should no longer be considered a humanitarian organization.
“The Red Cross has no right to exist if it does not succeed in visiting the hostages being held captive by the Hamas terror group,” Cohen told Spoljaric, and noted that “children, women and Holocaust survivors” are being held captive.
Keep in mind that at least one of the returned hostages was in such critical condition that she was hospitalized due in large part to the Red Cross’s total inaction on ensuring that SHE received her medication. Moreover, there are six hostages that we know of who died in captivity, hostages the Red Cross never visited.
The Red Cross facilitated over 50,000 family visits to Palestinian criminals held in Israeli jails & made over 500 visits themselves. All with Israel's permission

Meanwhile The Red Cross have not organized one visit to check on Israeli hostages in Gaza.
Not one! Truly Shameful
It is beyond shameful. It is evil. The Red Cross has shown their true colors. And they are ugly.

Sounds like the specific Red Cross organization operating in Gaza has been compromised. Unfortunately, international organizations can be quite vulnerable to manipulation by countries where antisemitism is acceptable behavior. The mere fact the Red Cross hires locals will be a problem. The Red Cross probably should have brought in a special team to deal with this issue, and I doubt that they did so.
It is sad, but one reason antisemitism has grown is that we Christians let politicians educate our children, and we didn’t hold our politicians accountable. In fact, we let them buy our support with “other people’s” money, and we let them buy our support by elevating our personal interests over “other people’s” interests. Other people are our neighbors. We are supposed to love our neighbors, not take advantage of them.
When we elect politicians who are willing to bribe us with what belongs to someone else, we are electing politicians who will sell us out too. Look at what we have in the White House, for example.
Instead of being salt
Never get between 2 mad dogs.
Thats how you end up with it also
The ICRC has been “bent” for quite a while.
