Yes, Mike Pence now blames Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump, along with Vivek Ramaswamy, for the Hamas terrorist attacks.

As seen above, he’s so sure about that boneheaded assertion that he sent it out over X! Oh sure, he blames Biden, as he should.

Former Vice President Mike Pence (R), a 2024 presidential candidate, on Sunday criticized President Biden for his strategic positioning on Iran and suggested the administration’s policies have “set the conditions” for the Hamas attacks in Israel on Saturday.

In an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Pence pointed to the recent U.S.-Iran hostage exchange, which will unfreeze $6 billion of Iranian funds in foreign accounts which had been blocked because of sanctions.

In fact, Anthony Blinken (even as the White House keeps telling us Iran ISN’T spending their $$ on terrorism), admitted this morning that yes, the funds to Iran are fungible!

But back to Mike Pence. He’s literally saying that Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis don’t want the United States to lead anymore. Has he MET Donald Trump? Was Pence living under a massive rock during the Trump/Pence term?? Was he asleep when the Abraham Accords were agreed upon?? 

And yet, today he goes on camera while Israel is at war fighting for their very existence, and pro-terrorist protests are taking place around the world, and points the finger of blame at Trump and DeSantis?!! People have been taken hostage, women have been stripped naked and paraded through the streets, Americans have either been killed or kidnapped. 

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that an elderly Holocaust survivor in a wheelchair is among the hostages Hamas has captive.

“Men and women and children dragged across the border into Gaza, including a Holocaust survivor in a wheelchair. People gunned down in the streets, civilians,” Blinken said Sunday.

Blinken added that the Hamas attack is “something that revolts the entire world,” and said the US is working to get more intel on Americans who have been killed, injured or captured.

A HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR. But here is Mike Pence telling us he knows who is to blame for this, but it ISN’T Hamas! Except that Ron DeSantis is ON RECORD many times advocating for Israel and especially for Iran to be shut down HARD for their role in this Hamas terrorist attack. 

The dastardly terrorist attacks perpetrated against innocent Israeli civilians by Iran-backed terror group Hamas deserve a swift and lethal response.

Israel not only has the right to defend itself against these attacks, it has a duty to respond with overwhelming force.

How Pence pivots from blaming the real culprits on this, Hamas and Iran…

The Iranian president has spoken with the leader of Palestinian militant groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad (PIJ) after the latest developments, state media in Iran reports.

Details of Ebrahim Raisi’s conversations with the two men were not disclosed.

Hamas is backed by Iran, which funds it and provides weapons and training.

To blaming Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump is definitely one for the books. 

Remember how Pence warned about populists vs traditionalists? He is evidently referring back to that with his comments. Except that both Trump and DeSantis have long been on the record for supporting Israel. Biden, however, refused for over 200 days to meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu. 

Oh, I totally get that Mike Pence and Donald Trump will never again be BFF’s. Yet Pence is WAY off base here. Like, not even on the ballfield with this asinine assertion!

Especially since Trump is the one who took out Soleimani and Al-Baghdadi!! 

I do, however, believe that one of the reasons Pence decided to level this absurd accusation is because he’s all in on Ukraine, while Trump and DeSantis are rightly questioning the blank checks Biden keeps writing! 

It wasn’t Trump nor DeSantis who pushed for the Iran Deal. That was Obama, and Trump stopped it cold. It wasn’t DeSantis nor Trump who revived the Iran Deal. That was Biden. It wasn’t either of those men who essentially have been trying to undermine the Israeli government. That is Biden. 

But the invisible hand here was America’s. Biden himself took to CNN to call Netanyahu’s government “the most extreme” he’s ever seen, and lost no opportunity to lecture his Israeli counterpart about democratic values. The former U.S. ambassador to Israel, Tom Nides, took the unprecedented step of intervening in the country’s domestic affairs, announcing ominously that he “think[s] most Israelis want the United States to be in their business.” And if words weren’t enough, the administration also sent American dollars to support the anti-Netanyahu NGOs organizing the protests that brought Israel to a halt for months. Netanyahu was famously denied an invite to the White House; his key opponent, opposition leader Benny Gantz, had no such problem.

Yet Pence ignores ALL of that in a very lame attempt to dunk on his competition.

Given the battle for their very existence that Israel is engaged in right now, Mike Pence really stepped in it this time.
