Current White House resident Joe Biden and his Vice-Resident Kamala Harris acknowledged Black History Month in typical fashion with lots of giggles and condescension and a smattering of outright lies. Biden’s lies are especially egregious about Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Trust me, I watched the whole freaking video.
The ceremony began delightfully with a you man by the name of Duwayne Portis, Jr., a high school senior from the Southside of Chicago with a 4.5 G.P.A.. Mr. Portis is applying to Howard University, with his impressive grades and extra curriculars. Kamala ruined the moment by cackling and affecting an accent to say, “Oh, I think he’s gonn git in.” I cannot deal with this level of dung. I don’t recommend it, but here is the full video of the Black History Month event:
The whole show went downhill after Mr. Portis left the stage. Kamala’s speech was pure Kamala. I zoned out for large portions of it. She did say:
“Let us all be clear. We will not as a nation build a better future for America by trying to erase America’s past,” she said to a round of applause.
“This month, and all year round, we must recognize the full arc of our nation’s history,” she said, adding, “So during Black History Month, we celebrate the heroes of the past as well as those who currently carry the baton.”
Harris said that after the last six years of erasing history and removing statues that displeased those on the Left. We will discuss this “erasing history” more in a moment. First, let’s discuss Creepy Joe Biden.
Joe was up next to thrill the audience. Of course, he told his version of history mixed in with a few old Bidenisms. Remember when he was speaking to an Irish group and said, “I may be Irish, but I’m not stupid. It’s even funnier now when you substitute White in front of a Black audience:
The 80-year-old president made the bizarre remark moments after joking that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), who is black, no longer talks to him.
“I may be a white boy, but I’m not stupid. I know where the power is … you think I’m joking. I learned a long time ago about the Divine Nine,” Biden said, referring to a group of African-American sororities.
Jeffries “is here in spite of the fact that when he ran the first time I campaigned for him,” the president added before shouting out Congressional Black Caucus Chairman Steven Horsford (D-Nev.).
Dear God, the cringe. Our good friends at Twitchy have a whole thread on this, which you can follow here. What really got me was the lies about Ron DeSantis, though I am not one of his biggest fans. Here is the Washington Post take on the Black History Month remarks from Biden:
President Joe Biden said Monday that “history matters, and Black history matters” during a White House reception marking Black History Month, a forceful declaration that comes after the state of Florida blocked a new advanced course on African American studies from being taught in its high schools.
“It’s important to say from the White House for the entire country to hear: History matters. History matters and Black history matters,” Biden said, to murmurs of agreement from the roughly 400 people inside the East Room of the White House. “I can’t just choose to learn what we want to know. We learn what we should know. We have to learn everything, the good, the bad, the truth, and who we are as a nation.”
Biden added, “That’s what great nations do.”
Please refer back to my earlier remark about statues being removed. The lie about DeSantis blocking “a new advanced course on African American studies from being taught. That is an egregious lie, which is the only ones Democrats and their scribes in the press tell. Here is the truth:
The persistent focus in Florida on instruction of African American topics comes as DeSantis has partially built his Republican stardom by targeting public schools for signs of progressive ideologies. His administration has forced K-12 schools to comb their textbooks and curriculum for any evidence of Critical Race Theory or related topics and he championed a new law that puts guardrails on lessons about racism and oppression. Both measures were cited in the state’s decision last month to block a new Advanced Placement class on African American Studies from Florida high schools. (On Wednesday, the College Board, which oversees AP courses and exams, released an updated framework of African American Studies class that did not include many of the authors and topics DeSantis had objected to. His administration said it was reviewing the changes to see if the course now complies with state law.)
The emphasis is mine in the above. That is the point. The pieces DeSantis and his advisors objected to were about Queer and Trans Theory. Those are not solely historically black.
That’s it. That’s all. Giggling, condescending and flat out lying. Happy Black History Month, from Joe and Cackling Kammie.

For Biden and his handlers, a course is “advanced” if it advances the “woke” / CRT / LGBTQ+ / neosocialist notions that bring them ever greater power over ordinary Americans. That’s their standard for “progress” in education.
