If you aren’t woke, but you are white, the U.S. military does not want you. Ask Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Lohmeier. He was recently removed from his command position in the 11th Space Warning Squadron of the Space Force for making anti-Marxist comments on a podcast.

Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier HAD an impressive career in the military. From Military.com:

Prior to transferring into space operations, specifically space-based missile warning, Lohmeier spent over 14 years in the Air Force. His Air Force career included instructor pilot training on the T-38 Talon jet and time flying the F-15C Eagle, according to biographical information listed on his book cover. He graduated from the Air Force Academy in 2006.

And;

While a major, Lohmeier attended the Air Command and Staff College, where he published “The Better Mind of Space.” The paper explores the U.S. military’s role in space beyond geosynchronous Earth orbit.

Lohmeier transferred to the Space Force in October, 2020 and was one of a number of Space Force personnel who received a Thanksgiving call from President Donald Trump. Why did the Lt. Colonel write a book on anti-Marxism?

In the “Information Operation” podcast, Lohmeier said his fascination with Marxism began after that, when he was pursuing his second master’s degree in philosophy in military strategy at Air University’s School of Advanced Air and Space Studies.

“All my interactions with senior leaders in the Air Force and in the Space Force have been very positive; they care a great deal about their people [and] the lethality of the force,” Lohmeier said during the 34-minute interview.

Lohmeier wrote a self-published book, “Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military” which debuted on Amazon.com May 10, 2021. That was the subject of the podcast. He told Gruber:

“Since taking command as a commander about 10 months ago, I saw what I consider fundamentally incompatible and competing narratives of what America was, is and should be,” Lohmeier said. “That wasn’t just prolific in social media, or throughout the country during this past year, but it was spreading throughout the United States military. And I had recognized those narratives as being Marxist in nature.”
When pressed on what exactly he meant, Lohmeier decried the New York Times 1619 Project, a historical look at how slavery formed America’s institutions, as “anti-American.”

“It teaches intensive teaching that I heard at my base — that at the time the country ratified the United States Constitution, it codified White supremacy as the law of the land,” Lohmeier said. “If you want to disagree with that, then you start (being) labeled all manner of things including racist.”

Lohmeier was ordered to teach a 70 page booklet on diversity and inclusion during the 60 day “Stand Down” order by Secretary of Defense LLoyd Austin.

Retired General Austin has stood up a Countering Extremism Working Group (I will tell you more about that in another post) to redefine extremism in the military.

The Countering Extremism Working Group’s first order of business is to come up with an actionable definition of extremism, which will update a current Defense Department instruction that allows for membership in known extremist groups, such as the Ku Klux Klan or Proud Boys, as long as one isn’t an “active participant” in a group’s activities.

Only white people can be extremists? You can be a member of Antifa and Black Lives Matter or a pro-Palestinian group and that’s superfine.

This ought to terrify you.

Mr. Foreman is absolutely correct. The Left has always wanted to infest the military. The January 6 riot gave the Left the excuse they wanted. The Left claims that White people on the right are the threat to the safety and security of the United States while ignoring the Black Lives Matter/Antifa riots, death and destruction of last summer. And, just so you know, the police are gearing up for another Summer of Love this year. So, the Department of Defense targets White people in the military.

That brings us back to removal of Lt. Col. Lohmeier from his Space Force Command. Lohmeier notified his command that he was writing a book on anti-Marxism, critical theory and critical race theory.

Lohmeier told Military.com he had consulted with his chain of command, public affairs and legal counsel about his plans to publish a book and its contents.

“I was apprised of the option to have my book reviewed at the Pentagon’s prepublication and security review prior to release, but was also informed that it was not required,” Lohmeier said in an email.

“My intent never has been to engage in partisan politics. I have written a book about a particular political ideology (Marxism) in the hope that our Defense Department might return to being politically non-partisan in the future as it has honorably done throughout history,” he said.

Mr. Foreman is also correct that Lt. Col. Lohmeier will be fine. His book, while still available on Kindle, is temporarily sold out. He will have a larger platform. That’s not the issue. The issue is the purge of true patriots from the military. Personnel of every race, color and ethnicity who love this country and reject Critical Race Theory will leave the military. The logical extension of this thinking will leave a military un-anchored to its original purpose and at the mercy of civilian leadership that is anti-American.
