Dear Ashley Judd: Longtime readers of Victory Girls know that many of us were/are
A. uneasy about Donald Trump as President,
B. Hesitant to vote for him,
C. Knew that Hillary as President would be nuclear bad for this country.
So, given the angst we felt, I can kinda sorta understand some of the angst those on the other side of the aisles feel about Donald Trump as our 45th President of the United States. That said, it honestly doesn’t excuse the rhetoric (if you can call it that) speakers such as Madonna.
Nor does it excuse the hate filled rant you screeched across the airwaves this afternoon.
Now, I don’t know who Nina Donovan is, and I wonder if this super naive 19 year old knew what she was in for when you outed her across the world. Did you TELL her she’d be on international TV? Courtesy of our friends at Legal Insurrection, here’s a portion of your hate filled rant.
And I am a feminist. And I want to say hello to Independence Avenue in the back, all the way down to 17th street.
And I bring you words from Nina Donovan, a 19-year-old in middle Tennessee. And she has given me the privilege of telling you what she has to say.
I am a na-s-s-s-s-ty woman. I’m not as nasty as a man who looks like he bathes in Cheeto dust, a man whose words are a death trap to America. Electoral-college sanctioned hate speech contaminating this national anthem. I’m not as nasty as Confederate flags being tattooed across my city, maybe the South actually is going to rise again. Maybe for some, it never really fell.
Blacks are still in shackles and graves just for being black. Slavery has been reinterpreted as the prison system in front of people who see melanin as animal skin.
I am not as nasty as a swastika painted on a pride flag. And I didn’t know devils could be resurrected, but I feel Hitler in these streets. A mustache traded for a toupee. Nazis renamed the cabinet, electoral conversion therapy, the new gas chambers.
Wow. That’s so… nice. Where to begin?
A. “electoral-college sanctioned hate speech: GIRL – you so do not know Constitution do you?
B. Confederate flags tattooed across your city? Which city? Got any proof or you just practicing your next audition? If I was a producer, I’d take one look and say yeah NO.
C. Your entire line regarding blacks, shackles, and slavery. Give me ONE major example…where that is happening. Honestly, I googled like crazy and can’t find anything.
D. Do you REALLY want to talk horrific trash like ‘wet dreams’? I guess if that’s the only way you can get acting jobs, go for it.
D. Nazis and gas chambers??!!! Well bless your dear sweet heart. Do you REALIZE how horrifically you just dissed every single survivor of Nazi Germany and the Holocaust? Why NO, NO you didn’t.

Seeing this, I bet Kentucky is rejoicing that you never made it out of the starting gate in your “campaign.” Not only that, but if you want to talk NASTY… perhaps you need to check with many of those who were at your same protest and then decide exactly WHO is nasty.

VALman says: Might I suggest that
1) You watch the one-on-one of Donald Trump by Fox Morning host Ainsely Earhardt. Then, ask yourself if this is the man you have difficulty with or the media-shaped image of him?
2) I wonder what is says about the character of Donald Trump that both of his former wives attended his inauguration?
3) I start with a given: Ivanka, Donald, Jr., and Eric are mature, intelligent, emotionally stable individuals in their own right. (I have not included Tiffany because I haven’t seen but little interaction between her and her father.) When I watched various episodes of The Apprentice, several aspects of these people struck me. One, there is a tremendous respect they have for on another. Two, not only do his children open-mindly listen to their father, he as well listens to them. Sometimes he even revises his opinion or decision. If Donald Trump is the person the MSM is attempting to portray him as, would these his children hold him with such esteem?
4) When Obama was elected, I had an idea of what lay ahead. I had seen what he represented before in a different setting. However, I was willing to give him the benefit of doubt. Thus far, from the time of his election unto the second day, Donald Trump has made more decision that I believe are ones for, FOR, America that his predecessor did in eight years. Can’t we at least give him the benefit of our doubt?
Remember, there’s bound to be anxiety on the part of any number of people. There are discussions, debates, and decisions we’ve needed to make for quite some time. However, we’ve been kicking the can down the road. Now, we have a President who’s about stopping that and it’s generating considerable uncertainty. That he’s made some solid decisions to-date ought to be a source of at least some confidence-bilding.
Chris in N.Va says: I couldn’t help but be amused at the usual Leftist lack of self-awareness when Ash Jug breathlessly tweeted out that on the streets, in the midst of the frothing-at-the-mouth, phlegm-flinging and spittle-sputtering, incoherent and fascistic mob she felt a Hitlerian atmosphere.
Wow, we’ve never heard Hitler mentioned before, have we?
Let’s see….where were the most intolerant screeds and acts of actual violence being found again? Oh yes, emanating from the White House and from there it infected the otherwise genteel, peaceful “streets” of protest?

The way these Lefties have an ingrained habit of pointing their rhetorical weapons at their own heads and screaming, “Stop and listen to me or I’ll shoot!” is rather delicious to behold.
