Democrats Set Five Articles of Impeachment Against Trump

On Wednesday, Congressional Democrats introduced five (count them 5) Articles of Impeachment against President Donald J. Trump. Representative Al Green (Non Compos Mentos, TX) has called for Trump’s Impeachment, postponed the impeachment, and called again for Trump’s Impeachment. This time the Articles of Impeachment were introduced by Steve Cohen (Commie Pinko, TN). Watch the video and then we will discuss:

Wow, Donald J. Trump is the worst almost human being in history. Congress Steve Cohen is a perfect judge of Trump’s horribleness. When Steve Cohen first came to the Congress of the United States of America from the great state of Tennessee, none other than then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Flibbertigibbet, CA) called him the “conscience of the freshman class”. High praise indeed.

I have to own that I am not a fan of Mr. Cohen, the Representative from Memphis. He campaigned to bring the lottery to Tennessee. You know, where proponents promise education problems will all be solved and the only thing that happens is the poor get poorer. Why do you hate the poor, Representative Cohen? Additionally, he claims to support the Second Amendment, but cast your eyes upon this statement from 2012:

December 21, 2012 Press Release
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today released the following statement after the National Rifle Association (NRA) made its announcement concerning recent gun violence:

“The NRA isn’t going far enough to curb gun violence in America. I own a firearm – I support the 2nd Amendment – and I authored the concealed carry law in Tennessee. But I do not support having assault weapons or high-capacity magazines on our streets. We must do a better job of screening those who want to purchase firearms and also invest more in mental health to better prevent gun violence. The NRA is powerful because of ultra-conservative Republicans who refuse to compromise on legislation that prevents gun violence and increases the safety of everyone, including those who do not own a gun.

“The suggestion by the NRA that we should have armed security guards in schools does not address the Tucson shooting where Gabbie Giffords was shot. Nor does it address the shooting in Portland. Does the NRA want armed guards at every shopping center in America too? Wayne LaPierre’s suggestion for more guns and bullets sounds like Robert Heinlein who said ‘An armed society is a polite society.’ If the NRA truly wants to increase gun safety in America, then they will work with Democrats and the President’s task force to pass reasonable, logical and workable protections for the benefit of the public.”

Representative Steve Cohen of Tennessee

Please, Mr. Cohen, show me in the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America where it says the legislative body may regulate the quantity of mini-balls and powder owned by citizens?

But, I digress, again. Mr. Cohen has outlined five Articles of Impeachment.

1. President Trump obstructed justice by firing FBI Director James Comey. James Comey, the guy who served at the pleasure of the President. Yes, good luck with that. lolol

2. Donald Trump violated the international emoluments clause because he has/had dealings in and with foreign countries. To quote the fake news network, CNN:

The text itself appears to back up the plaintiffs’ position. No emoluments, period. The language does not make an exception for profits unrelated to office.
But if you look at the history of the words, and their likely meaning at the time, it appears that the emoluments restriction was limited to gains arising from one’s station or employment within the government, not one’s outside investments or businesses.

This is a warning from the Swamp (Cohen) to future Presidential hopefuls: Don’t make a lot of money.

3. Donald Trump violated the domestic emoluments clause. He has taken domestic money other than his salary. This time we’ll go to National Review:

The emoluments litigation is likely to backfire, especially for many of the 196 members of Congress involved. How can anyone take congressional whining about possible corruption seriously when Congress as a body has sold its collective soul to special interests and is pushing our national debt to the $20 trillion mark?

4. Trump undermined the Judiciary. Yes, he said mean things about a couple of judges. Did he sic the IRS on them? Did he have their homes raided? No, he did not. Go cry to someone who cares.

5. He undermined Freedom of the Press. This one is the funniest one of all. He said mean things about journalists. Dude, I mean, Mr. Cohen, sir. He hasn’t said mean enough things about them. Did he capture journalists phone calls? Did he capture journalist’s parents phone calls (Barack Obama/James Rosen). Whaaah!

Mr. Cohen has a lot of other Presidents to prosecute before he gets to Donald Trump or Barack Obama. Cohen has got to dig up the mouldering corpse of the Second President of the United State of America, John Adams, and depose his decomposing meat sack about the Sedition Act of 1798. And, what about Harry Truman? He threatened to pop a music critic in the nose.

If Mr. Cohen is serious about this Impeachment thingy, he is truly mentally ill. If Mr. Cohen is just trying to energize his base, then, Mr. Cohen hates not only the Trump voters, but the Constitution. I suspect the latter is true.

This is the Democrat equivalent of the GOP passing Obamacare repeals when Obama was President. Red meat for their rabid base, but for the moderate base, its all smoke, because if they ever had the chance to actually impeach (with charges like this); they wouldn’t.

Leland- wouldn’t and couldn’t. they are all so reprehensible. the Pubbies lied to us about Obamacare and the dems are reprehensible in every way.

Not so fast. As the reprehensible Rep. Green has often noted, impeachment is a political action, not a legal one. They can allege “grand mopery with the intent to gawk” and if enough Representatives bite, they have their impeachment. Should the Dems take both Houses in 2018, it wouldn’t surprise me if they impeach both Trump and Pence on some charge, then send it to the (now Democrat) Senate for trial. Are so sure that McCain, Collins, Murkowski, Flake and other RINOs wouldn’t join the Dems to make Pelosi (3rd in succession) the Pres? I wouldn’t take that bet.

    Nailed it!!!

  • Stacy0311 says:

Please, please, please, please, please, please Paul Ryan let this go to a vote on the House floor.

Let’s get everybody on record. The nutjobs, the whackjobs, the flakes, (that covers the Democrat side) and the #NeverTrumpers.

And then use the record of the vote as a cudgel, as needed.

Huh. If he dislikes Heinlein, then he’s definitely no friend of mine.
    (RAH was right, of course.)

“This is a warning from the Swamp (Cohen) to future Presidential hopefuls: Don’t make a lot of money except for the bribes like we take.”

    FTFY.

Well, as inept as the Republicans are proving themselves to be at governing, I certainly hope the Democrats think this is a winner because it may be the only thing that saves the Republicans.
