Wreck-It Ralph Northam: Want Redemption? Resign.

Days ago, Virginia governor, Ralph Northam, a former physician, defended late-term abortion legislation pending in the state of Virginia. On Thursday Northam stood by his decision to defend said legislation proposed in a bill by Democratic Virginia delegate Kathy Tran, saying he had “no regrets”:

“If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.”-Ralph Northam

Kept comfortable. Hmmm. Interesting choice of words, Governor. Apparently, Governor Northam was not, (a-hem), comfortable with what his critics were saying about him. Poor dear. In fact, he thought they were misrepresenting him. Cue in the violins:

“The personal insults toward me, I really find disgusting. Again, as I said in my comments just earlier, we can agree to disagree, but let’s be civil.”-Ralph Northam

Civil? Let’s talk perhaps, The Civil War? Black History Month? Anyone, anyone? Lo and behold, out of the depths of Ralph’s past comes THE PHOTO.

But wait, Northam apologized, y’all:

The Richmond Times-Dispatch called for Northam to resign in a scathing op-ed last night:

“We all act foolishly in our youth. But a college graduate, studying to be a physician, in a state with Virginia’s troubled racial history, should know better than to reduce that history to a callous joke. The photograph reveals a lack of adult judgment that is disturbing.”

Even “Abortion Barbie”, Wendy Davis chimed in:

But, but, but…Kavanaugh. Nice try though, Wendy.

Meanwhile, Virginia Dems are rallying in Northam’s corner:

Sure. Carefully consider what comes next. Like, when you suggest that killing an infant via late-term abortion is a viable option for birth control because the people you laughably refer to as parents just don’t happen to feel the motherly/fatherly vibes on the day of the child’s birth. What does come next?

You think?!

There are two camps here. There are the fellow Democrats who think Governor Northam’s photos are wildly inappropriate while it is completely orthodox to agree with policies and potential laws that allow for the demise of a perfectly healthy child minutes after birth. There are the fellow Democrats will continue to defend the governor. He’s a “great guy”. It was a misstep, they’ll say. They’ll chalk it up to immature, frat-boy behavior and naiveté. They’ll say those crazy, zany medical school kids in their blackface and their KKK hoods knew not of what they were doing all while thinking that it is completely orthodox to agree with policies and potential laws that allow for the demise of a perfectly healthy child minutes after birth.

Ralph Northam wants redemption. Quit it with the public, “disgusting” insults and extend grace, Republicans. Northam is now “deeply sorry” (he got caught). He wants to be kept comfortable and run out his term as governor of Virginia fighting for a “Virginia that works for all people” (except infants). The same man who said he had “no regrets” about defending possible legislation for late-term abortion is now feeling remorse for a bad decision he made in 1984 because he feels he “fell short of high expectations”?

KKK robes, blackface and leaving newborns on a table to die. Wow, Democrats. You all have some really high expectations there.

Hell, with credentials like that Lisa, he should throw HIS hat in the ring for President 2020.. He sounds like the PERFECT democrat, or at least completely representative of their history…

His frat party was held in 1984, not 1934. If he didn’t understand that his costume was disgusting in 1984, just when did he?
    Goodbye, Gov. Northam.
And don’t let the door hit ya where the Good Lord split ya.

Gonna go conspiracy theorist here: Northam f’ed up with the blatant infanticide so bad he had to go. So, a Fusion-esque plant of, in this case accurate, facts to whack him in an ‘approved’ manner that won’t hurt when they ‘speak truth to power’ against the President.

It’s less convoluted than the Russia story, isn’t it?

Also, this should be a reminder to all the AOC, RT, Omar, and such that THE MACHINE isn’t pointed at just REPs, but it can (and will) be used to purge you when needed. After the leadership, tax and insurance follies of the last week, I predict a much more unified DEM message. Because of Northam.

Gov. Northam Will HAVE to resign after CNN outed him as a Republican.
