Who Will Disarm Us Now?

Who Will Disarm Us Now?

Who Will Disarm Us Now?

Now that Beto O’Rourke’s candidacy is relegated to the trash heap of history where it belongs, and derpy turnip Eric Swalwell Smallballs hurred and durred his way out of the 2020 Democratic primary, who will disarm the vulnerable?

Not that I really believed that either Smallballs or Robert Francis had any capability to disarm anyone, both these awkward, weird, creepy tool wagons talked a good disarmament game.

Remember when Smallballs reminded a reader that the government would nuke them if they refused to turn over the big, black, scary guns that resulted in much soiled pantiage all over Washington? Remember when O’Rourke threatened door-to-door confiscation if Americans refused to abide by his diktats to turn over their property to the government?

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

So now that those two potatoes are out of the race, who will step in to threaten ordinary Americans with forcible confiscation of the most popular rifle in the United States?

Who will disarm pregnant women, using AR-15s to defend their unborn babies and their husbands from getting beaten to death by armed goblins invading their home?

[Jeremy] King said one of the men started pistol-whipping him while another kicked him repeatedly in the head. His wife, who is eight months pregnant, was in the back bedroom and peeked out to see what was going on.

King said one of the men shot at her. She retreated, grabbed an AR-15 and returned fire.

We know that all the 2020 Democrats vying for the White House support a licensing scheme for gun owners, which while supposedly not meant to disarm us, will sure give government authoritarians a handy little list they could use to start their confiscation efforts.

Sorry, guys. You can’t disarm me. Tragic boating accident and all that.

Some have also issued support for buyback programs, including former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. Biden, who authored the 1994 assault weapons ban, is in favor of universal background checks and renewing a ban on assault weapons. However, he has yet to release a detailed plan on gun control reform.

Castro, who unveiled a gun policy after the El Paso shooting, also came out in support of buybacks. In the past, Castro has described buybacks as having “had mixed success,” but as being “good policy” in some circumstances.

Warren, who did not include support for buybacks in her gun policy announced in the wake of the El Paso and Dayton shootings, described her focus on reducing the power of the NRA, putting $100 million annually toward gun safety research and reducing gun deaths in the country by 80%.

Just so we’re all on the same page, let’s quickly provide you with the gun-grabber thesaurus – a convenient little guide to explain what the Democrats mean when they say…

Buyback program: a scheme to relieve you of your property using government force and pretending that justice was done because you are given a nominal payment using your own tax dollars, even though you were not permitted to set a fair value for said property.

Assault weapon: any gun that looks scary and black and shoots bullets and stuff.

Universal background checks: elimination of your right to dispose of your own property without government involvement driving up the price of said property and making it cost prohibitive for poor people.

Mixed success: the gun grabber policy didn’t work, but they want to implement it anyway to pretend they’re doing something about “gun violence.”

Good policy: anything that infringes on your right to keep and bear arms.

Reducing the power of the NRA: maligning and ultimately shuttering an organization of millions of law-abiding citizens, hindering their right of association with one another.

Gun safety research: Doctored data that supports infringements on the right to keep and bear arms. (Example: Arthur Kellerman’s discredited “research” that claims a gun in the home is likely to increase homicide in the home.)

Reducing gun deaths: disarming innocent people, who had nothing to do with said death.

So who will disarm Jeremy King’s wife?

Who will disarm residents protecting themselves from home invading goblins?

Who will disarm good Samaritans defending others from attack?

Kamala Harris, STEP ON UP!

Kamala plans to disarm Americans because “assault weapons kill babies and police officers” (but she’s all in for killing them in the uterus with a pair of salad tongs or a shop vac) and will use her metaphorical “pen and phone” to infringe on our rights, because Congress – which is supposed to represent the American people – refuses to do so.

Harris has recently shuttered her offices and fired staff in New Hampshire, and questioned whether the American people are ready for a woman of color to be president (and by “people,” she means her own party, since this is the Democratic primary, thereby calling Democrats racists and misogynists).

I can’t lie. I’m amused at Harris’s free fall, but I will miss Beto’s awkward but entertaining attempts to pretend to be just a normal guy of the people, instead of a spoiled millionaire, threatening Americans with confiscation of their property and stumbling to correct himself to preserve the “illusion” that he and the Democrats somehow respect the Second Amendment.

This is one of the biggest reasons to not permit the introduction of “universal” background checks. If you have to clear every single firearm transaction with the state, you’ve basically created a registration program. No more “boating accidents” for you or me.

Look, we started one revolution over firearm confiscation (and taxation). I’m certainly willing to give it another go, if these folks want to go there.

justice was done because you are given a nominal payment
And, which still defies the Constitution because they are not being taken “for public use”. The Constitution authorizes absolutely NO government confiscation of property except in two circumstances: criminal action and “for public use” (eminent domain, typically). (BTW, there’s also a bit in there about no ex post facto laws, and a banning of weapons already in use would be exactly that.)

scary and black and shoots more than 2-3 bullets and stuff
FIFY. Technically, most of them are content (for now) if you can put 2 or 3 bullets in the weapon. Any more than that will constitute a “mass shooting”, though.

making it cost prohibitive for poor people
Probably not just by adding $20 or so to the cost of a firearm. But it will make fewer people (which is the point) willing to sell privately, pushing used weapons into a pool of never-obtainable hand-me-downs. Which will make the cost of acquiring a firearm go up.

    to pretend they’re doing something
Isn’t that always the way with aristocrats who have to pretend accountability?

shuttering an organization of millions of armed, constitutionalist, freedom-minded law-abiding citizens
    FIFY

    Reducing gun deaths
Without any work on reducing suicides, in general. *eyeroll*

Yeah, I’m gonna miss “Beto” too. But it’s just one less clown in a circus of almost entirely clowns.

Yeah, but Beto was special. Every time he opened his maw (even for the dentist), it was like a flood of stupid! You just grab the popcorn and watch!

    He is still raising money.

Backdoor scheme to force a gun registry, and eventual confiscation. Cannot be enforced unless the government knows where the guns are. They cannot know if one has moved illegally if they don’t know where they are now.

  • Fen says:

Beto was a gift. The idiot accidentally confessed that Democrats want to confiscate firearms. His quotes will be used for decades whenever the Left says “trust us we don’t want confiscation”.

“you’ve basically created a registration program. No more “boating accidents” for you or me.”

Registration Program means millions of law abiding Americans will go underground and all those weapons will fall off the radar. Fed says he has me down for an M16? Well it no longer exists, numbers filled off and traded for a similar but different weapon, which is also hidden.

It needs to be remembered that Germans had already had a Registration Program before Hitler rose to power. He simply used the lists that already existed to round up all the firearms.

  • Don says:

ROFLMAO…assault weapons are banned already or severely licensed. The ArmaLite Rifle IS NOT an assault rifle. IF the pansies would man up and join the military they’d find the reality. Just more liberal BS.

  • Sam L. says:

So if I use a screwdriver to stab or beat on someone, does that make it an “ASSAULT screwdriver”?

  • talgus says:

I suggest banning assault signs that gun controllers parade around. I will trade my AR15 for an AR10, you know it is AR5 safer. Beto does.

  • Who? Why, Mike Bloomberg, of course! 🤢
