Some of you may be not be shocked to hear the progressive ideas of Tim Walz have not improved our educational system.
Not one bit have tampons in boys’ bathrooms made Minnesota kids smarter. Maybe “King Studs” but certainly not child prodigies. Quite the contrary, in fact. Take this from political science professor, Nicholas Giordano.
For the first time in 40 years, Minnesota now ranks below the national average in student proficiency. Under Governor Walz’s leadership, since he first assumed office in 2019, Minnesota went from being ranked among the top ten in education to 19th place.”-Nicholas Giordano
Walz has partnered with the progressive, DEI outfit, Education for Liberation Network. (EdLib) They will call the approach “ethnic studies” in the classroom. We call it more white racism from the grifters to call out the differences between Americans rather than our similarities with the goal of creating more polarization and tension between students.
Ethnic studies derives from a different radical tradition than CRT, although the two traditions now blend and overlap. But while critical race theory is known and understood, ethnic studies still sounds to most Americans like innocent heritage boosterism.”-Stanley Kurtz, National Review
Ahh, the smell of burning buildings and racial tensions on a Minnesota evening, right, Gwen? It’s coming from Due North:
Due North flopped at first but then took off. We need to look further than the framework for its principles from 2021:
1. Meet the Needs of Students During and After the COVID-19 Pandemic
2. Every Student Receives a World-Class Education
3. Every Student Learns in a Safe and Nurturing Environment
4. Every Student Learns in a Classroom with Caring and Qualified Teachers
5. Expand Access to Opportunities for Students of Color and Indigenous Students
6. Expand Access to Opportunities for Students in Greater Minnesota
7. Fund a 21st Century Education-Due North Education Plan
Let’s break this down. The very individuals, the educators, the school administrators, the teachers’ unions and former educators such as Tim Walz were completely content with shuttering schools for over a year. While school-aged children were left with optional ZOOM meetings to attend, reading scores went down, math became “racist”. Students were isolated and became increasingly socially awkward. Teachers protested in the streets and claimed they were going to die if they set foot in a classroom. And, hell, some even went on vacations! Governors, like Tim Walz, encouraged this isolation, this confusion, and this lack of instruction. They could not provide a world-class education then…what makes anybody think they can do this now? We would have to catch our kids up with the rest of the world, first.
Quite honestly, we can’t catch them up with the rest of the world when Democrats and Teachers’ Unions who are in bed with them, continue to pull excuses out of their asses to keep schools closed or delay openings. Take Chicago Public Schools, for example. Why did they delay opening this school year? Well, they couldn’t blame on a pandemic…
They all went to the DNC to advocate for Kamala Harris AND Tim Walz.
This year, district leaders pushed the usual start of the school year back by a week to help the city ‘accommodate an estimated influx of 75,000 visitors” and ‘[allow] time for students to attend, volunteer, and participate in the civic process of hosting the Convention.
That’s right: 320,000 students are being kept out of school so they can watch a political party talk about the importance of education.”-Angela Morabito, Fox News
Schools were closed so students can watch or partake or volunteer at the DNC. When did a campaign for a political party become a “federal holiday”? And, riddle me this…would a student be marked absent for attending a Trump rally during school hours? Teachers were not in their buildings setting up their classrooms and lesson plans here. They were being bused to Soldier Field to the DNC. Let me guess this was part of “professional development”. Why not? I have on good authority that book studies on plagiarist, Robin DeAngelo‘s White Fragility made the cut years ago, too. Taxpayer dollars hard at work.
In November 2022, Gov. Tim Walz dismissed the learning loss resulting from his school closures: "I don't buy it… These kids learned resiliency… They had to figure out how to get online."

Resiliency, Mr. Walz? Maybe for some. But for most, I would not call chronic absenteeism, or these stats the picture of “resiliency”:
Reading proficiency among Minnesota students fell to 49.9% in 2023, down from 59.2% in 2019, according to the state Department of Education. Math comprehension similarly sank, from 55% in 2019 to 45.5% last year. “–The New York Post
Ahhh, the “resiliency” card. Tell me you are a soulless sociopath with out telling me you are a soulless sociopath. #TimWalzLies

As we start the school year, parents, think about this. Tim Walz was completely content to do the bidding of Teachers’ Unions and will continue that fight. They all, to include Walz, took advantage of, and exploited vulnerable children to reshape and reimagine their bodies, and their psyche and the carnage they have caused is unforgivable. We have only seen a preview of what is to come. So, spare me the “football coach, Midwestern-dad” imagery. Tim Walz is a spineless tool who contributed to the dumbing-down of our children. Change my mind.
