Walker Slams Democrats For Playing Obama Card

Things have gotten VERY desperate for Georgia Democrats in the Senate race between Herschel Walker and Raphael Warnock. So bad, in fact, that they are having to bring in the only closer that they have in the bottom of the eighth inning, with Election Day over a week away. Nope, not Joe Biden. Barack Obama.

The Democrats know that they simply cannot lose a single Senate seat. They have to hold every seat in contention and gain at least one in order to not depend on Cackling Kamala for tiebreaker votes. Let’s just say that the Democrats were trying to put the happiest face possible on current events, but even Chuck Schumer is worried about Georgia.

Obviously, it was time to break glass in case of emergency, and send in Barack Obama, the Chosen One and Lightbringer, to save the day for Georgia Democrats. Usually, you would do that by extolling all the virtues of your candidate, right? So Obama should have come in and talked up the record of Raphael Warnock. Oh, that’s right. He doesn’t have a record because he has been a senator for less than two years in a special election. And Warnock is deeply radical and problematic all on his own.

So Obama spent his time slamming Herschel Walker instead.

The former president noted that “Herschel Walker was a heck of a football player, one of the best running backs of all time.”

“Does that make him the best person to represent you in the United States Senate?” Obama asked the crowd, which resoundingly responded “no.”

The former president charged that “in the case of Rev. Warnock’s opponent, there is very little evidence that he’s taken any interest, bothered to learn anything about, or displayed any kind of information towards public service, or volunteer work, or helping people in any way. At least we really don’t know about it. And that does make you suspect.”

And pointing to both Walker and his close friend former President Donald Trump — who was best known as a reality TV celebrity and real estate mogul before turning to politics and succeeding Obama in the White House, Obama argued “seems to me he’s a celebrity to who wants to be a politician, and we’ve seen how that goes.”

Obama, pushing back against repeated GOP campaign trail attacks in recent months charging that Democrats are soft on crime, asked the audience “who will fight to keep you and your family safe?”

He touted that Warnock was someone “who worked with President Biden to pass the first major gun safety legislation in nearly 30 years,” and knocked Walker as “somebody who carries around a phony badge and says he’s in law enforcement.”

Obama also made a rather strange analogy about letting Walker fly a plane.

But back to that whole “celebrity who wants to be a politician” bit. Um, has Barack Obama ever looked in a mirror? That’s a rather ironic and rich statement coming from him. Wow. Obama’s entire presidency was about making Obama look good, and more than paved the way for him being treated like a celebrity before, during, and after his presidency. And the press was MORE than happy to do that. Even now, when Obama shows up at the White House, the entire press corps forgets that Biden is president, or even THERE.

Well, Herschel Walker had plenty to say about Barack Obama showing up to try and boost the fortunes of Georgia Democrats.

“President Obama was here last night. He said I’m a celebrity. He got that one wrong, didn’t he? I’m not a celebrity, I’m a warrior for God. He got something else wrong, too. Remember two years ago he told us to vote for Joe Biden, didn’t he? He got that one wrong, did he not? He’s lost twice to Georgia already, hasn’t he, so I think he probably needs to sit this one out,” Walker said Saturday, according to political reporter for The Atlanta Journal Constitution.”

“I’m sorry to tell former President Obama, I’m sorry, I’m gonna pray for him,” Walker added. “I’m gonna pray for him because he needs some help. He needs some help because he got with the wrong horse. Senator Warnock is the wrong horse. You know he can’t do the job, and it’s time for him to leave. So don’t let the door hit your butt as you walk out of there.”

Oh my, that was a solid burn on Barack Obama.

The Georgia Senate race is currently a statistical dead heat. Real Clear Politics is predicting that, due to Georgia’s election laws that require an over 50 percent majority win, that the Senate race will go to a runoff election in December. It would be amazing if on Election Night, this race just becomes the potential cherry on top of a red wave sundae where the Republicans get control back in the Senate. It sure would take the wind out of the Democrats’ sails if a possible runoff election ends up not being the deciding factor for control of the Senate.

Just NINE MORE DAYS until Election Day!

Obama was enriched greatly by his presidency. Now he should just retreat to his multi-million dollar compound on Martha’s Vineyard and keep his mouth shut.

OK, not going to let this pass either:

“there is very little evidence that he’s taken any interest, bothered to learn anything about, or displayed any kind of information towards public service, or volunteer work, or helping people in any way.”

Warnock’s “church” owns an apartment complex. They were going to evict people for overdue payments, some as low as $20. Walker paid the whole amount out of his own pocket. The JEF thinks Walker is just being uppity.

All I have to say to Obama:
    Bless his heart!
