If you ever wondered what Veruca Salt would be like as a 45-year-old member of Congress, complete with keffiyeh and septum ring, look no farther than the cohort of D-females demanding 12 days of employer-paid leave for menstruation, right now, or else.
The Squad goon, Rashida Tlaib is right in the middle of this puerile tantrum masquerading as sober policy.
Democratic lawmakers are calling for mandatory extra sick days for women when they are on their periods, saying it is “economic violence” when women aren’t provided accommodation for their menstrual cycle.
During a press conference held as part of Women’s Health Month, Democratic lawmakers Yassamin Ansari, Adelita Grijalva, and Rashida Tlaib highlighted Ansari’s legislative effort introduced earlier this year for a proposal that “finally recognizes women’s pain.”
Oh.Dear.Lord.
Where do I begin on this kind of wild nonsense? Have these crybullies missed being the center of attraction for a few months while Democrat Nazis with zipper issues or masculinity problems have topped the news cycles? Because, like Veruca Salt screaming “I want it now!” right before she’s dropped into the basement, Tlaib and friends haven’t given one braincell’s worth of consideration on how trying to force employers to give 12 EXTRA days of paid leave to women “for menstruation” is going to play with the normies.
Menstruation is oppression, and the government must step in to fix the problem. 🤡😂😱

I’m sorry if Little Miss Salt has had some painful menstrual periods. It sucks and yes, dear, suck it up. Even if I were to accept the 15% of menstruating women suffer like you did, forcing employers to pay for you to stay home with a heating pad, Hallmark channel and a pint of Haagan-Daz coffee-chocolate-brownie ice cream twelve times a year is, frankly …
I know there’s a ton of Boomers (especially of the Generation Jones cohort) wondering what-the-hell-are-you-doing by infantilizing women in the rush to claim extra goodies. Talk about flipping the alleged feminist claim that women are just as capable of being successful in the workplace as men. Indeed, even Madison Avenue picked up on the whole I am woman, hear me roar! bandwagon back in the day. It’s 2026 and we can still immediately sing the lyrics on cue 44 years later:
Menstruation is, for the vast majority of women, just one of those things we accept about our bodies and deal with — like armpit hair and ear wax — and get on with life. And after decades of rolling our eyes whenever some male, here or there, is not joking about how menstruation should keep women out of certain careers, these Democrat females are going to make employers think really hard before taking a chance their next hire will cost them 12 extra days of paid leave? Hello! I see the lights are on but is anyone home?? These Leftwing feminists have lost the script.
And the big elephant in the room is, will cos-playing men in dresses claim they get to take those days off for bad cramps, too?
Ladies, you can’t keep saying men can be women, but then also say that women are a special category. You’ve got to pick a lane. You’re very confusing to the rest of us.

This is all very silly and needs to be dismissed out-of-hand. But then the claim that to oppose this bill is an act of “economic violence”? This is the Leftist playbook. These femiN4zis know that an employer not paying for extra days off is “violence”. But what it does do is legitimize violence “in self-defense” against employers. Luigi Mangione has an awful lot of fans.
The Left doesn’t call the right and its POV “violent” because it is. The Left calls us that to justify violence against us.

Some 20 years ago as I remember there was a push by extremist feminists in the Public Service to demand extra days off due to menstruation here where I live in Australia. We blokes kept our heads down, but the majority of sane women rejected the claim because they considered being a woman and menstruating was a normal process and, for the majority, not an illness. They did not want to be ‘marked’ as defective in some way.
As for the trans mob we are seeing the stupidity of the left at its best: ‘Under Australia’s Sex Discrimination Act 1984, transgender women are protected against workplace discrimination based on pregnancy and “potential pregnancy”‘ according to Sex Discrimination Commissioner Dr. Anna Cody. So men in skirts, who cannot get pregnant, are still protected under the regulations pertaining to pregnancy in the workplace.
