Two days after Fox News gave Tucker Carlson the boot, he appeared in a video on Twitter. It was short, contained the usual Carlson rhetoric, but was rather cryptic in content.
He told his audience that after “stepping outside the noise” he realized how “unbelievably stupid most of the debates you see on television are.” He then went on to criticize media and both political parties:
They’re brain dead. Nobody actually believes them. Hardly anyone’s life is improved by them. This moment is too inherently ridiculous to continue and so it won’t. The people in charge know this. That’s why they’re hysterical and aggressive. They’re afraid. They’ve given up persuasion, they’re resorting to force. But it won’t work. When honest people say what’s true, calmly and without embarrassment, they become powerful. At the same time, the liars who have been trying to silence them shrink and they become weaker. That’s the iron law of the universe: true things prevail.

The number of viewers watching, liking, and retweeting his video is extraordinary. Twitter user Ian Miles Cheong noticed that less than an hour after Tucker Carlson dropped his video, he had more people watching his monologue than had watched his Fox News show:
Tucker Carlson’s monologue already has more views than his old slot on Fox News.
So while Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez gloated at TikTok that “deplatforming works …”
Tucker Carlson is out at Fox News, couldn’t have happened to a better guy, deplatforming works and it is important.
… and the harpies at The View led their audience in a chorus of “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye,” it appears that their worst nightmare may come true. Tucker Carlson will return bigger and badder than ever.
As Douglas MacKinnon, a former writer for Presidents Ronald Reagan and George HW Bush, opined at The Hill, quoting Omar from The Wire:
You come at the king, you best not miss.
Pompous windbag Geraldo Rivera eagerly trashed his former colleague at Fox News:
I don’t wish ill on anybody, but there is no doubt-as I said at the time-Tucker Carlson’s perverse January 6 conspiracy theory was “bullshit.”

Whereupon Greg Gutfeld responded:
You’re a class act Geraldo. A real man of the people.
Both Rivera and Gutfeld are part of Fox News’ panel show The Five. It will be interesting to see if fireworks between the two erupt the next time they appear together. If it happens, it wouldn’t be the first time, either. Stay tuned.
Meanwhile, Keith Olbermann — an even bigger jackass than Rivera, if that’s possible — compared Tucker Carlson to a “Nazi.” Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly took Olbermann to the woodshed and administered a much-deserved verbal beatdown.

Rolling Stone reported that former Fox Producer Abby Grossberg told MSNBC that Tucker Carlson made her life “a living hell.”
Tucker and his executive producer Justin Wells, who was also fired, really were responsible for breaking me and making my life a living hell.
Except there’s one teensy little problem with that claim. Turns out that Grossberg never met Carlson in person while working on his show. Not only that, but Grossberg’s own attorneys confirmed that fact to The Spectator:
Like many on the [Tucker Carlson Tonight] staff, Abby never met Tucker Carlson in person because he taped the show from his personal studios in Maine and Florida, and he did not visit Fox’s NY HQ during her time there.
So MSNBC didn’t even vet their guest before allowing her to make false claims. What a surprise.
It’s been common knowledge that Tucker Carlson is Russian media’s favorite American, mainly because he has refused to support the war in Ukraine. And, lo and behold, Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyev, an anchor on Russia-1, encouraged Carlson to run for president. Or maybe take a job with Russian media:
You have our admiration and support in any endeavor you choose for yourself next, be it running for president of the United States (which you probably should totally do, by the way) or making an independent media project. We’ll happily offer you a job if you wish to carry on as a presenter and host!
Plus, a host for Russia’s English-language propaganda outlet RT News tweeted him a casual job offer:
Hey @TuckerCarlson, you can always question more with @RT_com.
While over at CNN, Erin Burnett was outraged! outraged, I tell you! not only that Russian media went to bat for Carlson, but because Carlson had once said that Joe Biden was the cause of the Ukraine War.
At the time of the invasion, I strongly disagreed with Tucker Carlson’s nonchalant attitude towards Vladimir Putin, and I still do. Putin is truly evil, and is a much bigger threat to the stability of Europe than Carlson and other non-interventionists believe. I quit watching Carlson after that.
But he was right about one thing, and Burnett is wrong: Joe Biden was indeed the cause of the Ukraine War. Not because he had fired a shot, however. Putin invaded Ukraine just a few months after Biden’s debacle in Afghanistan. Putin correctly assessed Biden to be a weak, feckless figure, and saw his opportunity to invade the sovereign nation of Ukraine. So yes, Joe Biden was the cause of the Ukraine War.
Despite being given the boot, Tucker Carlson will be okay, and he knows it. In fact, the Daily Mail showed images of him on a date night with his wife near his beach front home in Boca Grande, Florida. “Retirement is going great so far,” he told the Mail. “I haven’t eaten dinner with my wife on a weeknight in seven years.”
If audience reaction to that short Twitter video is any indication, Carlson will reach an even more-expansive audience than he did at Fox News. Probably make even more money, too.
The media possibilities are endless. He could go Joe Rogan and host podcasts. Produce content for the growing Daily Wire or Glenn Beck’s The Blaze. Create his own Substack empire as Bari Weiss did with The Free Press after she became disgusted with the far-left censorship at the New York Times, her former employer.
Some thirty years ago, radio host Rush Limbaugh resurrected a moribund AM talk radio. Limbaugh has since passed away, and AM talk is no longer as dominant as it was when he commanded the golden EIB microphone. But conservative media has since exploded via internet and social media content that has far eclipsed Limbaugh, although his legacy remains. Like him or not, Tucker Carlson has the media world at his fingertips, and he no longer needs Fox News for his voice to be heard.

Carlson is Obi-Wan?!
an even bigger jackass than Rivera, if that’s possible
Oh, believe me, it’s possible. Olbermann is a Godzilla-sized a**.
So MSNBC didn’t even vet their guest before allowing her to make false claims.
Meh. There are loads of people I’ve never met in person who made my life h***.
We’ll happily offer you a job if you wish to carry on as a presenter and host!
LOL. Nice troll.
Putin is truly evil, and is a much bigger threat to the stability of Europe than Carlson and other non-interventionists believe.
Meh. He’s less of a threat to Europe than their own socialists are. And what he’s doing to Ukraine is no more than he did to Georgia, or annexing Crimea. I nominally side with the Ukrainian people in this, but Biden is a much bigger threat to our national interests than Putin is. (Mainly because Biden isn’t really the threat – his handlers are.)
I hope Carlson continues to be a thorn in the side of media and leftists (but I repeat myself) for many years to come. Slainte!
“Except there’s one teensy little problem with that claim. Turns out that Grossberg never met Carlson in person while working on his show. Not only that, but Grossberg’s own attorneys confirmed that fact to The Spectator.” I always appreciate how Vicious Girls (VG) takes the side of the misogynistic abuser over a woman who steps forward to disclose horrific behavior. You did it when Cassidy Hutchinson testified, you did it when Allyssa Farah spoke out after leaving the 280 pound malignant tumor and now you’re doing it with Grossberg.
Your Stockholm Syndrome is showing and it’s not pretty.
Tucker stopped going into the Fox studios and worked out of his two homes where he built studios. He insulated himself; probably more for protection than anything else. Grossberg was on phone calls, conference calls, zoom calls and other meetings where Tucker espoused his violence and hate. She, like the other women who worked for high powered conservatives, started working because she believed and supported those conservatives. As time when on, they discovered that those “high powered conservatives” were horrific monsters … spreading lies, violence towards women, people of color, Jews, GLBTQ and others. She’s got 90 (maybe more) recordings of Tucker. She knows more about Tucker than probably his wife does at this point in time.
Your point, “she never met Tucker” is beyond moronic because Vicious Girls are always screeching at others who they’ve never met. For once take your own advice.
I always appreciate how Vicious Girls (VG) takes the side of the misogynistic abuser over a woman who steps forward to disclose horrific behavior.
You’re assuming a very great deal there, Kevin.
Bitter gay misogynistic man ranting about misogyny at a bunch of women. Cute.
