The last couple of weeks have seen an escalation in rhetoric following the horrific Nashville Covenant School shooting by a woman identifying as a trans man.

The general public has learned that it’s okay when children die in a Christian school, if the shooter claimed to be transgender and therefore oppressed. Not only that, the shooter is actually a victim. Not of the people she shot, but of society at large, so a hate crime against Christians is totally okay because Republicans are evil. Six people were murdered, and the shooter, who decided on suicide-by-cop and taking the lives of innocent people, is the “seventh” victim.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration had to pivot the narrative in order to “affirm” the trans community. So Karine Jean-Pierre immediately blamed the guns, blamed laws being passed regarding “gender-affirming” sex-change surgeries on minors, and Joe Biden dutifully followed suit after saying he only showed up because he was told there was ice cream.

And the White House is simply doubling down on the rhetoric. Karine Jean-Pierre just keeps going. These were her comments yesterday.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre sparked outrage on Thursday after she praised “fierce” kids who are transgender for their ability to “fight back.”

Less than two weeks after a transgender shooter killed children and faculty at a Christian school, Jean-Pierre was one of many leaders sharing fiery rhetoric in support of transgender ideology. She blasted legislation from Republicans aimed at stopping transgender medical procedures on minors, claiming it is merely “gender-affirming” health care.”

Jean-Pierre described such legislation as “a dangerous attack on the rights of parents to make the best health care decisions for their own kids.” She went on to declare, “LGBTQI+ kids are resilient. They are fierce. They fight back. They’re not going anywhere. And we have their back. This administration has their back.”

She followed by praising “the kids across this country who have organized protest and school walkouts to tell the politicians in their states to stop this legislative bullying.”

This, everyone, is what we call “poor timing” by Karine Jean-Pierre, as the news broke late yesterday that a 19 year old Colorado man who claims to be a trans woman was arrested for planning an attack on a school.

William Whitworth, who prosecutors say identifies as Lilly, was taken into custody by the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office on March 31 after it was discovered the 19-year-old had floor plans to Timberview Middle School and allegedly admitted to wanting to shoot up the school, according to an arrest affidavit obtained and reported on by local outlets.”

Whitworth was originally paid a visit by deputies when the suspect’s sister called authorities to alert them she was lashing out and made school shooting references, the Colorado Springs Gazette reported, citing the affidavit.”

While the affidavit lists Whitworth as a male, the sister called her “Lily” and called the suspect her sister, the newspaper reported.”

A spokesperson for the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office told the Gazette that Whitworth was in the process of transitioning to a woman.”

The planned school shooting was allegedly in the works for “a month or two,” Whitworth told sheriff’s investigators, and she was “about a third of the way from doing it,” the affidavit states, according to Fox 21.”

The only thing stopping this planned attack seems to have been the lack of weapons available, although the suspect was going to attempt to 3D print some kind of firearm, and instructions on bomb making were allegedly found in the suspect’s bedroom as well. Just imagine the horrific moment if this suspect had succeeded in planting a homemade bomb at a middle school. This person is 19 years old, allegedly had barely attended this middle school for any period of time, and yet was willing to kill innocents that they didn’t know at all, potentially with a bomb. Why?

Police were first called out to visit the Whitworths last Friday, when they received reports that the sister of the reporting party had “threatened to shoot up a school,” had “anger issues,” and had spoken the day before about “school shooting.” When deputies arrived at the house, according to their report, “someone at the door” told them that “someone inside” was “very upset and punched holes inside the walls,” but nonetheless initially refused to let them in. Eventually, they were let in, however, and found “two holes that appeared to be punch marks in the wall,” as well as a door off its hinges. In a bedroom, they encountered the reporting party’s “sister.” It was “Lilly,” that is, William Whitworth.”

When the deputies asked Whitworth if he was planning to shoot up a school, he nodded. When they asked him why he would do such a thing, Whitworth replied: “Why does anyone do it?” He was then asked if he planned this massacre at Timberview Middle School, which he had attended, and he nodded again. Asked why he picked that school, he mumbled: “No specific reason.” He added that he also planned shootings at local churches.”

Authorities also found floor plans of the school and directions for how to build a detonation device. They also found a copy of The Communist Manifesto (well, well, well), a list of weapons and 3D printer instructions, hit lists, and a list of various public figures, including conservative YouTuber Lauren Southern, whom Whitworth described as “Pathetic,” and Donald Trump, whom Whitworth dismissed as a “Con-mam” (sic). “Bad cops,” said Whitworth, were “useless garbage.”

And yet, Karine Jean-Pierre said that someone like this is “resilient,” “fierce,” and will “fight back.” Who exactly was this Whitworth guy “fighting” at his former middle school, which he has not attended in YEARS? Who was he so angry at?

Now, the Biden administration and Karine Jean-Pierre are going to steadfastly ignore this case. After all, it was stopped, no one died, and the suggestion of a bomb being used invalidates their entire push for gun control. This story breaks their narrative into teeny tiny pieces, so it will be buried by everyone except local media and conservative media. But it shouldn’t be. This is what is being enabled at pretty much every single level in society – broken people expressing their brokeness with unfiltered rage. And when someone who has been directly affected by all this enabling, like Riley Gaines, dares to speak out – then there is more rage and physical violence.

We have a problem. It isn’t the guns. It never has been. It is about the people willing to assault anyone who dares contradict them. It is about the person holding a weapon and being willing to murder people because of their internalized rage. And it is about the people who excuse those committing the crimes, because they feel it is politically beneficial for them to do so. This only stops when sane people are willing to stand up and say NO. And right now, too many people are afraid of the rage.
