Tim Walz Has A Blue Falcon Problem

Tim Walz has a Blue Falcon problem. The creepy Harris Walz campaign is already touting Tim Walz’s military service. His is better than JD Vance’s you see because he’s not one of the country club. He’s just a patriot.

He may not have been wearing his sergeant’s chevrons or bearing a coach’s whistle over his neck, but his remarks made clear he intends to run on his biography and regular-bloke style and not his progressive legacy in St. Paul. He held up his GI Bill and public school credentials, salted his comments with a bit of “damn” and “hell” and portrayed the opposition as the country club and the sell-out.

Few in the Democratic Party were happier to see the ticket talking about love of country, military service and veterans’ care than Gov. Wes Moore of Maryland, who since his 2022 campaign has been urging his party to reclaim the flag.

“He’s a person who won’t be lectured on patriotism,” Moore told me after watching a command sergeant major, the essential cohesive force in any military unit, take the stage.

Tim Walz is, along with Kamala Harris, very anti-gun and they are making sure we know about it.

To be clear, Walz spent 24 years in Minnesotas Army National Guard. That’s wonderful and patriotic right? Until one gets to the end of his service and realizes he has a Blue Falcon problem.

In 2003 Walz was selected to attend the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy. This is a pretty big deal. It also involves a two+ year commitment with VERY SPECIFIC CONDITIONS to meet. And if met appropriately, the result is a promotion to Command Sergeant Major. During that time period, Walz and the 1-125 Field Army Battalion were sent to Italy for six months.

Then, in 2004, things changed.

On September 17th, 2004 he was conditionally promoted to Command Sergeant Major. The conditions had been outlined to him when he was counseled and he signed the Statement of Agreement and Certification. If the conditions are not met, the promotion is null and void, like it never happened.

In early 2005, a warning order was issued to the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion, which included the position he was serving in, to prepare to be mobilized for active duty for a deployment to Iraq.

On May 16th, 2005 he quit, leaving the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion and its Soldiers hanging; without its senior Non-Commissioned Officer, as the battalion prepared for war.

Yes. He QUIT. In fact, he quit so hard that the paperwork for his resigning of his commission NEVER caught up to him. That’s correct. He cut and ran so fast he couldn’t be bothered to sign the retirement paperwork. Which to this day reads: SOLDIER UNAVAILABLE FOR SIGNATURE.

Folks, that’s an incredibly Blue Falcon move. What is a Blue Falcon?

Tim Walz quit rather than deploy to Iraq. It was a 22-month deployment during which three men in his unit were killed while Walz was gallivanting around campaigning for his first term in Congress.

He’s spent years talking up his service and how he was Command Sergeant Major. But again, there’s a problem with that. He served as an acting CSM. But due to his failure to complete the Sergeant’s course, upon retirement, his rank was reduced to Sergeant Major. No, it’s not Stolen Valor, he’s playing semantics and hoping veterans won’t call him out on it.

Here’s the other part of his Blue Falcon problem. The George Floyd riots. Walz, as governor, refused for DAYS to call in the National Guard.

After allowing the largest city in his state to be overrun by violent protestors who burned entire districts to the ground, Walz scoffed at the mayor’s request for National Guard support, referring to the Minnesota National Guard as a bunch of “19 year old cooks.

Were it anyone else, they could plead ignorant. But this was an unforgiveable error for a 24-year veteran of the same State’s Guard. Having served, Walz should have known that the Minnesota National Guard boasts 180 Military Police in the 34th Military Police Company and more in the 257th Military Police Company, as well as Air National Guard Security Forces, an infantry battalion, and a cavalry regiment. The National Guard Reaction Force is on standby for rapid deployments in natural disasters and civil unrest scenarios.

And yes, as I pointed out here, he literally dissed the entire Minnesota National Guard during the George Floyd riots. Yet, last evening he’s on record talking about how Trump doesn’t know what service is.

Walz himself has demonstrated, at the end of his National Guard career that HE doesn’t know what service is. When the going got tough, he quit.

Yes, it’s incredibly shameful. And speaks volumes concerning Tim Walz’s character. It’s distinctly lacking.

Leadership means accountability. Quitting is not leadership. We are supposed to believe that Tim Walz will be the co-leader when we need it the most. His Blue Falcon record tells us otherwise.

From that tweet from Kamala HQ, it looks like Walz specifically claims to have carried an M16 or M4 in war. If that is actually what he’s saying, then that appears to be blatant stolen valor and that should receive a lot more attention.

Wouldn’t he have retired as a Master Sergeant if he never completed SMA, rather than a SGM? Not that there’s any shame in retiring as an E-8 (I did).

Wouldn’t he have needed to deploy, instead of abandoning his men, in order to have carried ANYTHING in war????

He’s a liar, a chicken shit coward, and a socialist… Not to mention all his trips to communist China…I’m sure there’s nothing to worry about there..

The ship that floats on a sea of lies will never find port.

I’m mystified by the “Soldier Unavailable for Signature” thing. Seems to me, even if “quitting” is allowed in the NG, I can say “I quit”, and I can leave, but if I don’t do all the steps to terminate my enlistment (like, sign ze papier!) wouldn’t I be considered AWOL?

    • Hate_me says:

I wouldn’t read too much into that element, it happens more often than people realize and often for completely innocent reasons – a soldier has a report date somewhere else that simply cannot wait for the bureaucracy to catch up before hitting the road, or the adequate level of approval authority doesn’t make it a priority, etc…. The best NCOER (Non-Commissioned Officer Evaluation Report) I ever received shows “soldier unavailable for signature” because I was several states away at a school when the deadline came up.

The bigger concern is his outright stolen valor.

  • “Blue Falcon.” A euphemism for “Yellow Bellied Coward” that I don’t recall hearing before.

  • A reader says:

Vance was a combat correspondent, and from what I’ve read, that means he didn’t actually serve in combat. So spare me.

Also, the Guardian interviewed a solder who served under Walz: “ A soldier who served under Walz, Al Bonnifield, said: ‘Would the soldier look down on him because he didn’t go with us? Would the common soldier say, “Hey, he didn’t go with us, he’s trying to skip out on a deployment?” And he wasn’t.

‘… He weighed that decision to run for Congress very heavy. He loved the military, he loved the guard, he loved the soldiers he worked with.’

Calling Walz ‘very caring’ and a ‘very good leader’, Bonnifield said Walz helped him and other soldiers when they returned from Iraq.”

So I guess not all soldiers would view him unfavorably. Acting as if veterans are a monolith is foolhardy at best. You do so at your peril. And accusing someone of stolen valor is very serious. I would be careful here as JD isn’t exactly sparkling clean as a candidate.

Nice try genius, how about ya stick to something you actual understand (does anything fit that category?) No, Vance was not a trigger puller, but he served in a combat zone, and actually went on missions outside the wire. That qualifies as serving in combat. As for Tampon Tim, he was temporarily assigned to the role of Command Sargent Major, but failed to meet his contract obligations of completing the required schools, and as such, per the contract HE signed, the promotion NEVER happened. And why did he fail to complete the schools you ask, ooh, because he BAILED on his command when they got orders to deploy. The TOP enlisted soldier in the unit, and he ran screaming when the orders came down. This is chickenshit of the highest order, and just because you were able to find one dude that had been paid enough to give him a pass on it doesn’t mean shit.. How about looking at what the person who replaced him had to say.. that might be a bit more relevant..

But do keep trying, maybe one day you’ll get something right.. blind squirrel / nut and all..

One more piece of evidence, both of your ignorance / deception on the topic Reader, and the Stolen Valor of No-balls Walz. Check the video, at approx 24:30… This twatwaffle had a congressional coin with the CSM insignia on it. That is about as clear a proof of Stolen Valor as you can get.

One wag has now said it:
Trump has more combat time in Butler, PA than in Walz’ entire career.

You know, that picture really should have a nice bit of falcon poo sliding down Walz’ shoulder.
