In response to Trump’s tweets this weekend, the Squad of Four decided to hold a press conference. It was time to call him on the carpet! Sadly for them, their grand gesture backfired spectacularly.
Deanna wrote about Trump’s tweets here. And yes, it did seem that he had scored his own goal with that series. Let’s look again at what he said.
“Trump tweeted Sunday that “‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen” should “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it’s done.” The tweets sparked outrage among Democrats, particularly “the squad,” whom the tweets were likely about.
Shortly before the press conference, Trump tweeted that the four congresswomen are “anti-Israel, pro Al-Qaeda.” He has continued to defend his remarks despite push-back from Democrats and Republicans.”
So, what do they do? Keep the story going by calling a press conference! I know, you don’t want to watch, but you really should. It’s quite something.
Boy howdy, they sure did trot out all sorts of big words didn’t they??
Now, I do think Nancy Pelosi is a combination of relieved and pissed off about this press conference. Relieved because at least the Squad isn’t going after her at the moment. Pissed off in that they handed Trump and his reelection campaign some serious ammunition!
Ilhan said this during the presser.
““Right now the president is committing human rights abuses at the border, keeping children in cages, and having human beings drinking out of toilets,” Omar said Monday. “This president, who has been credibly accused of committing multiple crimes, including colluding with foreign government to interfere with our election.””
Ilhan STILL won’t answer about all the documentation that has been found regarding her two marriages, and she STILL won’t answer questions regarding her dubious use of campaign money. But sure! Let’s accuse Trump of crimes and trot out that damned collusion thing once more.
Ilhan also refused to answer this question during the presser.

Boy howdy, Ilhan blew it right there. She had a chance to defend herself and slam Trump for his remarks. But instead, she cowers. That will make a GREAT campaign ad for the Republicans!
With all their concern about the detention centers and the issues at the border, you’d think that they’d be eager to condemn Antifa anarchist Willem Van Spronsen’s attack in Tacoma, right? WRONG.
His so-called manifesto echoes much of AOC’s concentration camp rhetoric. So you’d think she’d want to distance herself from him. Nope. Instead we got nothing.

Ayanna Pressley zipped her lips on the issue. Ilhan Omar had nothing to say either.

Remember, all four women have publicly said things that make it clear that they are not fans of this United States.
Ilhan and her comments regarding Al Quaeda, her anti-Semitic tweets regarding Jews and Benjamins, and the atrocious 9/11 ‘some people did something’ commentary.
Rashida Tlaib’s ‘calming feeling’ about the Holocaust, and praise of Arabs who worked with Hitler, and her friendship with Linda Sarsour.
Omar and Tlaib’s support for terrorists.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s distortion of 9/11 plus claiming it’s triggering. And the detention center concentration camp commentary after she emoted across an empty parking lot last fall has made things even worse for our Border Patrol and ICE.
The Squad somehow thought this press conference was a great idea. It certainly was given that they swallowed Trump’s bait hook, line, and sinker. They are now THE FACES of the Democrat Party going into 2020. Faces that are polling horribly. Only 22% have a favorable view of AOC. As for Ilhan? Only 9%. Definitely not a typo there…only 9% of those polled view Ilhan with any favor. Socialism took a big hit as well in the polling.
Memo to The Hen Squad: when you try to punch at Trump and end up smacking your own face, you might want to rethink your strategy. Or not.

This press conference shows that with his tweets, the President was one of two things… 1. the luckiest man alive in that they had the worst possible reaction to a stupid decision on his part, or 2. He’s playing them like a stradivarius…
Based o the actions over the last two years, i’m becoming more inclined to believe that everything he does is calculated, and that the left continues to rise to his bait like a freaking large mouth bass!

Anthony Dorazio says: The most disappointing thing about Trumps pushback on the anti-American sentiment from the left is that the GOP are largely too afraid to speak. Why not use their voices to explain where he is coming from, how correct he is on so many points, and how while he may offend some it is only because he is a brutally frank New Yorker, and we love him for that.
But they are too timid to do that. Not holding my breath.

It’s about2-3 months too early for a full-throated roar of support.
By the first of the year we conservatives need to be planning just how to plan the events and grassroots push to both counter the Socialist’s actions, and get the solid Americans energized for this very important 2020 election where we give our guy 4 more years to straighten things out, as we take back the House and increase the Senate holdings with conservative-minded people.

Interestingly, both Dr. Ben Carson and Nick Pilgrim (both black) defended POTUS Trump. Carson flatly stated that the tweets were NOT racist; Pilgrim went farther, saying that Trump is probably the least racist POTUS the U.S. has ever had!

Trump is making these four women the face of his opposition. The only difficulty will be if their constituents work to dump them – then who will he run against? But, given the rank stupidity of those who voted them into office, I find that risk to be a low probability of occurrence.
