Tamara Lich Accused Of Pre-Crime, Gets No Bail

Let’s check in with The People’s Republic of Canada, shall we? How are things going now that Dear Leader Prime Minister Justin Trudeau managed to get his emergency declared?

Well, we have moved into the plot of “Minority Report,” apparently. The future is now, and Canada is now recognizing “pre-crime” as a reason to deny bail to Freedom Convoy organizer Tamara Lich.

A Canadian judge denied bail for a key organizer of the trucking Freedom Convoy, citing that her detention was “necessary for the protection and safety of the public.”

“I cannot be reassured that if I release you into the community that you will not reoffend,” Ontario Court Justice Julie Bourgeois said Tuesday morning when denying organizer Tamara Lich bail, according to CTV News.”

“Your detention is necessary for the protection and safety of the public,” Bourgeois said.”

Just a side note – could there be any better optics here than a judge named BOURGEOIS denying bail to the leader of a worker’s protest??? I mean, really, this season’s writers aren’t being subtle AT ALL. Also, this judge was once a political candidate supported by… Justin Trudeau.

Said judge had lots more to say in her scolding of Tamara Lich.

“You have had plenty of opportunity to remove yourself and even others from this criminal activity but obstinately chose not to and persistently counselled others not to either.”

“In Canada, every citizen can certainly disagree with and protest against government decisions but it needs to be done in a democratic fashion in abidance with the laws that have been established democratically.”

Translation: Peaceful protest that makes Justin Trudeau look bad is NOT DEMOCRATIC! Workers of the world, NO UNITING against a “democratic” government!

Of course, the government funded Canadian Broadcasting Corporation was spinning, spinning, spinning – as if Tamara Lich was a dangerous criminal who simply couldn’t be trusted.

Tamara Lich, of course, is being held without bail because she embarrassed the Trudeau government and they want to make an example of her. If she had actually HARMED someone, then she probably would have made bail.

There’s really no other way to put this except that Tamara Lich is being held as a political prisoner by the Canadian government. (Interestingly, one of the other organizers, Christopher Barber, who was arrested at the same time as Lich, DID get bail on Saturday.) How is this, truthfully, any different than Alexei Nalvany continuing to have years tacked on to his prison sentence because Vladimir Putin doesn’t want Nalvany out protesting against him? This is disgraceful beyond words, but hey, it’s apparently now “Springtime for Trudeau and Canada”…. and other Canadian officials would like a cut of that sweet, sweet emergency POWAHHHH.

In the interview, Watson also said that the Freedom Convoy hurt small businesses in the nation’s capital and “disrupted the city.”

“That’s one of the reasons why, under the Emergencies Act, that I’ve asked our solicitor and our city manager, how can we keep the tow trucks, and the campers, and the vans and everything else we’ve confiscated, and sell those pieces of equipment to help recoup some of the costs that our taxpayers are absorbing? That’s one of the provisions of the Emergency Act and we have been a beneficiary of the Emergency Act,” Watson stated in the interview.”

“I asked the Members of Parliament to consider, it’s [the Emergency Act] helped us a lot, things like confiscating vehicles,” he added. Watson continued, saying that lawmakers need a better plan going forward to “protect our residents” better than they have this past month.”

Um, yeah, that’s called “civil forfeiture,” Mayor Watson, and Ontario JUST had a legal case last year that clearly set limits on civil forfeiture. Apparently the mayor thinks that the Emergency Act will allow him to just “dispense with the formalities” and start selling other people’s property to benefit Ottawa. It’s authoritarianism at its finest – the state will now seize and sell your property in order to recompense themselves for trampling all over your right to protest.

The Trudeau government wants people punished for daring to stand up to them. And it’s obvious that Tamara Lich is going to be the first person they will “make an example” out of. And what will Canada look like in the near future if the “emergency” doesn’t come to an end?

This not a threat but it is a warning. When you push people to the point of desperation, to the point where they feel they have nothing left to lose, they become unpredictable and violent. Trudeau is playing a very dangerous game.

And the governments, both Canada and US, are pushing people.

I wonder whether there is some way to show support for Tamara Lich?

(I would like to show support, but I am not keen on the governemt using that as a justification to seize my money and my first born. Sheesh)

This whole bit sickens me. For apparently freedom-loving people to elect people like Trudeau and his fellow Parliament members then let them declare this emergency and get away with it, just sickens me.

Most democrats in the U.S. agree with this.

    • Jaynie says:

Yes, it is so sickening. Only media corruption allows the lawmakers and power elite to function at these levels of oppression and corruption.

The protesters simply wanted an end to vaccine mandates. The virus being on the wane, the sane, the wise ruler thing to do would have been to talk with the protesters and work to a solution. This is the power elite drunk on their power and divorced completely from the citizens. Sickening.

Government overreaction to the Freedom Convoy and to J6 has shown citizens what will befall them should they rise up again. Burn cities and protest some social injustice, yep, alright with that. Especially in that it divides the populace. Protest your government? Nope, no, the hammer, the bludgeon, of the power elite will fall with bad consequences. And after that, the media will smear the citizens’ attempt to negotiate with the government and sanctify the governments misuse of power. Asymmetrical warfare.

Citizens accept governance by their consent. One would hope that it is informed consent. Subjects, on the other hand, shall be ruled. One who is a subject does not bear the burden of becoming informed. It makes things so much simpler.

Looks like if Canadian citizens want their freedom back they need to listen to Thomas Jefferson about yhe Tree of Liberty.

The judge is a hottie. I really do think that we are being run into the ground here and in Canada by beotches with attitude. You know that Justin is a beta pajama boy. Christia is really running Canada. IMO.
