The Taliban continues their war on women. This time it involves windows. Yes, windows.
The Taliban’s supreme leader has banned windows so that “women can’t be seen” inside their homes and other residential buildings.
In their latest twisted demand, the terror group has said that new buildings should be constructed without any windows, “so that the courtyard, kitchen, neighbour’s well and other places usually used by women”, cannot be looked into.
Government spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said online that spotting a woman could lead to “obscene acts”.
In order to ensure no windows are built, municipal authorities and other relevant departments will have to monitor construction sites.
This new rule is beyond twisted. And it explains so much about the evil that is the Taliban leadership. If a mere glimpse of a woman or girl supposedly leads a man to “obscene acts,” then it’s the MAN who has the problem, not the female. This new rule is yet another tack in the Taliban leadership’s relentless war on women.
What are some of the other rules?
The Taliban has decreed that Afghan women are forbidden to:
Go to high school or university
Work in the civil service
Attend a protest
Go abroad
Drive a car
Travel alone
Ride in a taxi
Speak in public
Speak loudly inside your house
Sing
Read the Quran aloud in public
Speak to a male doctor
Play sport
Go to the gym
Go to the park
Wear bright clothes
Wear high heels
Look at men they don’t know
Show their faces in public
Own a smartphone
There were women doctors, nurses, teachers, bankers, singers and more who abruptly had their careers halted when Joe Biden handed Afghanistan to the Taliban in August 2021. Education for women and girls came to a screeching halt. They can’t speak when sitting in a prayer group, sing, or even exercise. In other words, the women of Afghanistan are right back where they were before 9/11, firmly under the Taliban boot with zero hope of freedom.
The Biden Administration is, of course, not doing a damned thing to help these women. The United Nations is equally useless.
The United Nations on Tuesday urged the Taliban to respect the rights of women in Afghanistan, warning that the future of the nation depends on safeguarding the rights of all its citizens.
The statement follows reports that Taliban leader Hibatullah Akhundzada has ordered a halt to medical education and training for women.
While authorities have neither confirmed nor denied the reports, the alleged ban has sparked international alarm.
Given that that warning from the UN was issued in early December, and the Taliban has just imposed this new windows rule…it’s obvious that anything said or done by the UN is ignored by the Taliban leadership.
Think about this. Women aren’t allowed to do anything other than be subjugated to men. Girls are sold as child brides so her family can “earn” extra money. And now, with this atrocious windows ban, they can’t even look outside for fear some jackass man will go berserk??!!
The Taliban’s reasoning for this latest ban as well as all the others is downright delusional.
In spite of the new restrictions, the Taliban claims that Islamic law “guarantees” the rights of Afghan men and women.
The United Nations has denounced the regime by the Taliban as “gender apartheid”.
A report released in July from the UN’s mission in Afghanistan said: “The punishments attached to non-compliance with instructions and decrees are often arbitrary, severe and disproportionate.”
“Sweeping bans with a discriminatory effect on women have been introduced. Human rights violations, as well as the unpredictability of enforcement measures, contribute to a climate of fear and intimidation among segments of the population.”
The ministry denounced the report as false, adding: “Decrees and relevant legal documents are issued to reform society and should have their implementation ensured.”
Forget delusional. It’s twisted and evil. Period. Full stop.
People are attempting to argue that the Taliban takeover was Trump’s fault, while ignoring the major restrictions placed on them prior to when Joe Biden took office in 2021. Biden meanwhile, forged ahead with the disastrous withdrawal, leading to women once again becoming slaves.

And, around the world, all the so-called feminists are radio silent on this. Instead they are spending their time shrieking about their inability to have an abortion whenever they feel like it, or are getting triggered over the misuse of pronouns. Their silence on this atrocity speaks volumes.
But when Kabul collapsed the Biden Administration assured us there was hope for the women of Afghanistan because the Taliban might want to be Responsible Global Citizens.

The Taliban’s ban on windows is one more step in their war against women. This disgusting tragedy belongs to Joe Biden, his minions at the State Department, and the United Nations.

Skillyboo says: How this could happen in this day and age. Especially when you see photos of how much freedom women had prior to the fall of the Shah in Iran. It took only 45 years for Muslim women to return to the 12th century.
Wfjag says: Let’s go over some history to explain how this happened:
There was a Peanut Farmer from Georgia. He was the smartest man he knew, so he got himself elected President. He decided that the Shah of Iran was violating human rights in Iran. So he cut off U.S. aid to Iran and allowed an Ayatollah who was living in France to go to Teheran. The Peanut Farmer was sure that this would make the Iranian people happy and kindly disposed to Americans. The Iranian people were so impressed with what Americans had done and several thousand of them (young males who told everyone that they were students) decided to visit the American Embassy and make everyone there a guest for over a year. That event, by students, sorta looked like a fraternity prank. So, the Peanut Farmer didn’t do anything about it.
So you see that because they were students, it was all kinda like Hell Week during fraternity rush – and since it was so much fun, the guy brought in from Paris decided to extend it for 20 or so years till he died. By then it was now a tradition, and after while it been going on for nearly 45 years.
Meanwhile, the guy from Paris, knowing how frat boys can misbehave around women (having read an article in Rolling Stone about frat boys at the Univ of Virginia and newspaper stories about the Duke LaCross team), decided it was his paternalistic duty to ensure that girls were chaste and safe – and what better place for that, and for them to learn proper housewifery skills than at home. So, that’s why women and girls were told to stay home. And, after a few decades, it was a tradition.
And, the Peanut Farmer was happy. There was no longer a bad Shah of Iran abusing the human rights of Iranians. And, all the media proclaimed what a smart man he was for this triumph in American foreign affairs.
