Certainly March came in like a lion for much of the leftcoast, record snowfalls throughout the Sierra Nevada and Rocky Mountain ranges. But don’t worry about California, dears, Democrats will make sure to maintain the practice of letting 95% of the winter rain/snowfall flow right out to the ocean and then institute even more life-meddling, authoritarian laws in the name of global warming, climate change, climate crisis, weather. So as we review a few of the Leftwing idiocies of the past week, let me refill your glass and toast to the coming spring. Let’s get to it.

Such a shortage of LGBTQ+++ ‘hate crimes’ that they must be invented …
Anti-LGBT slurs that were recently found on flyers and scrawled in chalk on the campus of MIT were a false flag campaign by students upset over the school’s new pro-free speech policies, according to a university investigation. (snip)
After MIT’s “bias response team” investigated the flyers and chalk messages, it was determined that “the messages were put up by students choosing to use extreme speech to call attention to and protest what they see as the implications” of new pro-free speech policies and efforts on campus.
Ah! The “Fake but accurate” hoaxing is back! And MIT’s response?
MIT President Sally Kornbluth is now calling for a culture of respectful speech that can live in harmony with a strong endorsement of free expression.
I’m absolutely convinced that if it was discovered that the slurs had been chalked by non-left students, they would be treated with the same level of tolerance as the original scribblers.

Not that director Kalie Callaway-George, has actually learned anything from her Hellenization stunt.
Although the explicit embrace of the LGBTQ community has now resulted in the school having to close in May, Callaway-George still argues it was the right thing to do and has no regrets.
“The essence of the Christian faith is promoting and offering love,” she said.

The wing of female-supremacist feminism saw its rise during the 60s and 70s. Betty Friedan, profoundly disappointed in her failures as wife and mother, shifted the responsibility for her poor choices to The Patriarchy™ and swathes of young women eagerly became fodder for the Left’s assault on normative American culture.
But today, the Left has little use for females anymore. A new, muscular faction is out on the streets, in the boardrooms and legislatures taking charge. There is no escape.
Last year, our survey of users of single-sex services got many responses from lesbians telling us about losing their associations. They told us about groups that were previously women-only coming under pressure to include men who identify as women. They said that women who dissent are excluded. They reported how events and meet-ups including book groups and cycling clubs, discos and drinking nights have disappeared, or gone underground. Venues cancel events; posters are defaced; women are harassed and bullied unless lesbian events are “inclusive” of males who identify as women. All this is mirrored online: even lesbian dating sites include men who claim they are women, and those who try to state a preference for biological women get thrown out.
Queer theory is the new Marxist imperative and that means even a male is to be celebrated for International Women’s Day. Ladies, learn your place and shut up.

Sunday is a good day to pray for women to reject the false god of the Left and return to Constitutional principles and their Judeo-Christian foundation.

Douglas Murray tours US colleges, has thoughts …
I started my week at the University of Virginia. It is one of the many American universities which have serious problems because of their founding – probably the majority do. In this case the University of Virginia has a problem because it was founded by Thomas Jefferson.
Until recent years, being founded by Jefferson – whether in the case of the United States or a university – was a badge of honour. Today it is a mark of Cain. That is because in the 1990s a book by someone called Annette Gordon-Reed popularised the idea that Jefferson had sexual relations with one of the slaves that he inherited from his father. (snip)
In fact, the DNA evidence simply shows that a member of the Jefferson family had sexual relations with Hemings. And there are at least two ne’er-do-well relatives who seem much more likely suspects. But in modern America, once a negative story about the past comes out, it almost immediately gets mainlined into present-day culture. (snip)
Some audience members at the University of Virginia seemed positively furious with me when I cast doubt on the Jefferson narrative. A hundred years ago an American might have fought to defend Jefferson’s honour. Today, many actually want him to be a rapist and are incensed should you demur.
Let’s say I was surprised by Murray’s lack of profanity … he is much more tolerant than I am, dears. I’ve reached that delicate stage in life where I am loathe to tolerate nonsense and I can delight in shouting “Get off my lawn!”

Good news is that more parents are taking their concern for their child’s well-being and acting on it. From running for local school boards to the rise in home-schooling, I’m cautiously optimistic that the trend will continue. However, my mother didn’t give birth to a Pollyanna and I know that it may take at least of full generation of dedicated, real Americans to toss the Left out of the captain’s chair and turn this Titanic around before the American experiment hits the iceberg for good.

Sounds like a good opportunity for a group of parents to take over from where I’m standing.
But today, the Left has little use for females anymore.
Of course not. To be blunt, women now have equal rights so The Struggle™ is over on that front. So the left has to get new victims to keep the gravy train going.
I’ve reached that delicate stage in life where I am loathe to tolerate nonsense and I can delight in shouting “Get off my lawn!”
The problem is that we treat them like they are people. They are basically screeching bags of meat who think Twitter is real life. And yes, Mr. Murray was very restrained.

No, the essence of the Christian faith is that…
God is our creator.
We rebelled against God.
We live in fear of temporal and eternal death because of that rebellion.
Jesus the Christ is God incarnate, who died for our sins on the cross of Calvary.
Said Jesus reaffirmed the commandments to love God above all else and to love our neighbors as ourselves, and that love is bound anddefined by the first table of the law.
That same Jesus rose again from the dead, and tasked his people with spreading the Gospel – that God Himself has reconciled us to Him.
Said Jesus will also return before the great day of Judgment to gather His people to their eternal rest.
That third to last line – specifically about loving our neighbors – is where Progressivism loves to take its departure from Christianity. It redefines love as a feeling and an obligation to never ever tell anyone they are living in sin. Maybe murder. Everything else is out of bounds for criticism. That is nowhere found in Scripture to be the definition of “love”.
So, Mrs. Callaway-George, I will say out loud: You are no Christian. You are a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and it is good that those children will be removed from your immediate influence this spring. Pehaps someone will come along who actually loves you, and let you know that you are doomed to hell fire unless you repent and acknowledge God as creator and Christs as redeemer, according to His definitions, not yours.
