What a slap in the face to every vet and veteran’s family, especially from WWII where the unconditional surrender of Germany and Japan saw oodles of American military personnel stationed AS occupation forces. My late father was in Japan 1946-48 as one such soldier (Army 11th Airborne).

“Non-profits” is how the Left gets rich.
California First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom, along with her LLC, has collected a combined $3.7 million over the last decade from a nonprofit activist organization she founded. Corporations that receive millions of dollars from the California taxpayer are behind hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations to the nonprofit that Gov. Gavin Newsom’s wife runs. (snip)
The nonprofit brings in between $1 million and $1.7 million a year in grants and donations, from which about $300,000 has been going directly to Siebel Newsom and her company.
The most recent IRS filings up to March 2024 show Siebel Newsom received a $150,000 salary from The Representation Project. Her company, Girls Club LLC, received another $150,000 from The Representation Project.

What actual charity looks like …
“So I see the Ring doorbell go off, and I’m like, you’ve got to be kidding me, he had Starbucks sent again,” Smith said.
But when she opened the video, her frustration quickly turned into concern.
The 20-second clip showed an elderly man slowly making his way up the steps to deliver the order. Dressed in a red shirt and khakis, he carefully held the railing as he climbed before placing the drink at the door.
“This poor guy is struggling to get up my stairs to deliver my very capable daughter her Starbucks,” Smith said.
Brittany Smith wanted to give 78 y/o Richard a larger tip and posted her Ring video hoping for help in identifying him.
The response was overwhelming. Richard and his wife both have health issues and when his wife lost her job, Richard picked up the delivery service to supplement their income. Smith decided her extra tip wasn’t going to enough and started a GoFundMe to help them retire. People all over the world chipped in.
Brava, Brittany! Thank you for seeing a need and not ignoring it.
