#StockleyVerdict: ACLU Sues, St. Louis Aldermen Support A Criminal, Protests Continue [VIDEO]

St. Louis, Missouri. A city rich in history. The Gateway to the West. Now, the protest capital of the United States. First there was Ferguson and the complete meltdown destruction over a police officer defending himself against a thug criminal named Michael Brown. Then there was the second destructive meltdown over Officer Darren Wilson’s acquittal by grand jury.

Now the violent riots over the Stockley Verdict is moving into week 2. Officer Jason Stockley was accused of killing Anthony Lamar Smith after a lengthy police chase in 2011. Stockley insists he acted in self defense. St. Louis Circuit Judge Timothy Wilson found that the state didn’t meet the burden of proof required to prove Stockley acted purposefully. And with that the protestors rioters went berserk.

‘The group of agitators…” Seriously Mayor Krewson?? SERIOUSLY??!! No. They are rioters hell bent on destroying a beautiful city and your pandering just helps it along.

The following protest was outside Busch Stadium during and after the Billy Joel concert.

Police vehicles have been destroyed, cops were sent to the hospital after being attacked, the Mayor’s home was vandalized, businesses had to shut down after rocks/chairs thrown through windows, and multiple events including U2, Ed Sheeran, and the St. Louis Symphony were cancelled.

Needless to say, many who live and work in the St. Louis area are not thrilled with what these rioters are doing to the city and to the economy. It certainly doesn’t help that the ACLU of Missouri decided to jump on the bandwagon.

The American Civil Liberties Union of Missouri filed a lawsuit against the city of St. Louis on Friday over what it called “unlawful and unconstitutional action” during demonstrations that followed the acquittal of a white former police officer in the death of a black man.

The suit accuses police of misconduct by using chemical weapons, interfering with video of police activity and violating due process. It seeks an order requiring police to act within the bounds of the U.S. Constitution.

The St. Louis Board of Alderman added fuel to the fire with this resolution on Friday September 22nd.

Alderman John Collins-Muhammad, who introduced the resolution, said the board acted in part to help ease Annie Smith’s grief.

“His mother had to wait six years for justice, which she still did not get,” Collins-Muhammad said. “So I invited her here today to let her know the city of St. Louis and the Board of Aldermen shares her pain, her frustration and her deep dissatisfaction with the turnout of everything that has happened.”

You can read the entire resolution here. Understandably members of the St. Louis Police Officers Association are NOT HAPPY that the Alderman and Mayor decided to honor a heroin dealer!

“To see them honoring a person who tried to take a cop’s life is appalling,” Roorda said. “I’ve never ever gotten this many calls and texts about anything the political class has done. My officers are furious about this.”

Want to take a guess as to which party they all represent? What do all those Democrats hope to accomplish by embracing and celebrating a drug dealer with a miles long record? What result did they or the ACLU think they would get by showing all the jackass rioters ‘HEY! We’re With You!’

If they thought that everyone would fold up their tents and go home…guess again. Today in St. Louis the riots continue at the America Center, which happens to be hosting a Joyce Meyers convention, and at the Galleria, the largest mall in the area.

Another day of protests that have solved nothing and aggravated many.

Exactly. Businesses lost revenue because people are being stupid over a verdict they haven’t even read! Well guess what? The rioters don’t care. You see, these protests aren’t about Anthony Lamar Smith or Michael Brown.

“for Anthony Smith and Michael Brown. Shut it down…”

It’s about power. It’s about making the government hand them anything they want no questions asked. The rioters willingly embrace criminals and government handouts/bailouts while considering the rule of law and our Constitution a major inconvenience. Destructive Hypocrites. Go Pound Sand.

The interfering with video I can get behind. But, “using chemical weapons”?!? WTF, over? My response as the police chief would be:
“Fine, we won’t use ‘chemical weapons’. We’ll simply shoot them using lethal ammunition. Because we will NOT let these thugs and hooligans destroy property or threaten the health and well-being of our citizens, and you seem determined to take away our single non-lethal dispersal method. The resultant deaths are on your head.”

IOW, you don’t give a flying … about the truth or justice. You just care about how this woman feels, regardless of the validity of those feelings.

“His mother had to wait six years for justice, which she still did not get,”

Again, IOW, you know how the verdict should have turned out and you’ll throw due process and the entire legal system under the bus to hold onto your power.

Understandably members of the St. Louis Police Officers Association are NOT HAPPY that the Alderman and Mayor decided to honor a heroin dealer!

You know what? You should walk off the job. Every damn one of you. Simply stay home when they call you to work – riots, normal patrol, desk work, especially alderman and mayoral protection details. Every last mother’s son (and daughter) of you should simply not show up for work.

    Arrests appear to be imminent.

Should be “Gunfire is imminent.” I no longer give a crap about dispersing these people, I simply want them removed from society entirely.

If you people want a war, you really aren’t going to like how it turns out.

    It’s about power.

Absolutely right, Nina. And the NFL stupidity is about power, too. And the college stupidity. And…….
