David says: Rush obviously did his “hits” for fun & gaffaws and to show his disagreement with Gore & Begley (sp?). I don’t think he literally means/intends to hurt those two; and I hope that no one tries to say that he does.
For the record, I DO think that hitting those characters was a bit ‘heavy handed’, though. I believe that if he had missed them he could’ve sent a slightly more agreeable message that would be free of the possibility of being ‘hijacked’ by those who don’t like Rush.
