In a stunning revelation supported by conjecture and bias, the MSM has determined that mass protests and riots are COVID “ok” zones, but Trump announcing the location of campaign rallies will create hot zone threats.
Following a round table meeting with African American leaders, Trump announced his plan to resume campaign rallies. The media immediately pounced on the COVID numbers in the following states, Florida, Texas, Arizona, and North Carolina. Citing recent increases in infections, and implying that a gathering of thousands will increase the risk of COVID spread. Meanwhile, they overlook the very real threat posed by protests and riots.
Because, all things “orange man” are bad, and he’s an evil troll (who wants all of the grandmas dead) The Washington Post reports,
President Trump announced Wednesday that he will resume his campaign rallies soon, and the gatherings will take place in a handful of states currently battling surges of new covid-19 infections.
His first rally in months is set for June 19 in Tulsa, which is located in a county that has reported a gradual uptick of new cases since the beginning of June. The president also mentioned campaign stops in states that have seen sharp increases in new cases and hospitalizations: Florida, Texas, Arizona and North Carolina.”
The very same media diminishes the risks to thousands of people mingling for hours protesting the police, the President, and perceived institutional racism. In fact, they report that to not protest is a greater threat than the virus. The New York Times shares,
Dr. Tom Frieden, the former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention who was appointed by President Barack Obama, tweeted last week that the threat to controlling the coronavirus was “tiny” compared with the threat “created when governments act in ways that lose community trust.”
Newsflash Dr. Frieden, a better way to lose the community trust is by blatant hypocrisy. Before the BLM protests and ANTIFA looting, we were told that protesting the lockdowns increased the threat of spreading COVID. The MSM and liberal pundits accused lockdown protestors of risking lives just because they wanted to protest for freedom.
To be clear: Protesting for perceived racial inequality is okay, hundreds of medical professionals say that protesting endemic racism is more important than staying healthy (really… Here). COVID can’t stand Woke-Weebles either, and will avoid their large gatherings.
Now, protesting against actual government use of forced lockdown is not okay. Obviously COVID can tell the difference between protest groups, and you freedom types want to kill Grandma!
Gathering in throngs of thousands to support a political cause is good. Better if you loot, riot, burn minority communities, and rampage Target. Those black ANTIFA masks and firebombs will keep the virus at bay.

The MSM loves their narratives. Especially those with a shortage of actual information. Take for example WaPo’s “states with sharp increases”- Florida, Texas, Arizona, and North Carolina. On May 26th each state had relatively low new cases listed, as follows – FL-509, TX-589, AZ-222, NC-176. Did anything significant happen around this time… ahh why yes, protestors started gathering and rioters started burning and looting.
What is the incubation period for COVID… oh, about two-weeks…. and folks here we are at the two week point with numbers increasing. But stop the presses!! Damn DJT and his scheduled rallies are going to inflate those COVID numbers.
Sorry MSM, it looks like all the woke-weebles actually accomplished something that folks wanting to return to work couldn’t. Sharply increasing the numbers of new COVID cases.

Maybe at this point it’s a known requirement, and Trump supports will don the appropriate PPE to attend his rallies. Or they will function as capable adults and decide to go mask free. Leave it to Politico for the tough insights.

Joe is “confined” at home because his handlers know what happens when he’s live… He’s an awkwardly hair sniffing, gaffe spewing, white male octogenarian. The embodiment of everything contrary in today’s liberal circles. Joe’s numbers are up precisely because his handlers can control what transmits from “Joe’s basement.” An arduous, rally heavy, campaign trail schedule intensifies Biden’s quirks and highlights his shortcomings.
When they schedule Biden’s Basement Breaks, it’s to give a set speech or appeal to black voters. From Politico,
Since Memorial Day [the day prior to the protests], Biden has exited his home more frequently, notably visiting protests in Wilmington, Del., and delivering a speech on race relations in Philadelphia. He also traveled to Houston on Monday to visit with the family of George Floyd, the African American man whose death at the hands of a white police officer in Minneapolis has led to the recent protests.”

Reliable data suggests that black Americans are at higher risk of death from COVID. In their report, “The Disproportionate Impact of COVID-19 on Communities of Color“, to the House committee on Ways & Means committee, the American Medical Association writes,
As widely noted in recent media reports and research studies, Black Americans have been among the hardest hit populations by the virus. Not only are they hospitalized and dying in disproportionate numbers, they also are more likely than White Americans to have lost income because of the pandemic.”
HOLD ON! A group gathering in massive protest is actually the group at heightened risk for dying from COVID? But Trump’s rallies are the potential problem for spreading the virus?! Wow, it makes total sense. The MSM is freaking nuts.
CNN, ever the unbiased source for reporting, writes,
The campaign believes those crowds at the protests have opened the door to events like these rallies, despite the warnings from public health officials that social distancing, facial coverings and limited public interaction are still necessary to prevent a second spike of the virus.
Well, they have done exactly that. And are these the same “public health officials” who signed the symbolic death warrant for countless black Americans? Medical professionals who think, despite actual data proving otherwise, that police are a greater threat than COVID to blacks attending the protests.
Two things are certain about COVID spread and increased numbers. The roles of Hero and Goat have already been determined.
First, Trump will bear the brunt of every infection spike. If it climbs as a result of the protests, his white bias ignored racial injustice (completely false, but a standard lie). He’s at fault if it spikes at any point before, during, or after his rallies.
MSM liberal logic,
Like Duh boomer! His supporters are evil people who can manifest increased COVID numbers by sheer will of their desire to kill Grandma [A worthy cost to restore individual liberty]. Really. Have you seen them, wearing the red hats and patriotism… obviously their will makes things happen.“
Second, the protestors, looters, and rioters will shed any culpability for increased COVID numbers. They will walk away without one iota of data being laid at their sneaker shod feet. The MSM will cover for them. In fact, the MSM will work to blame the protester spread on those attending the Trump rallies.

Politically Ambidextrous says: Unlike the MSM, the virus doesn’t play politics. It’s a matter of managing the risk of infection. So far, that seems to be a matter of physical distance, duration of proximity, inside vs. outside, spit-limiting masks, and handwashing. (This is really no different from any other respiratory infection.) After that, It’s a personal (and of course group) judgment as to whether ‘the cause is worthy of the risk’. And there’s nothing more political than this calculation.
What I’m anticipating is the uproar when the folks who need hospitalization for COVID-19 after participating in the protests/riots aren’t able to access beds that were supposed to be kept available by ‘flattening the curve’. The MSM will report that the beds are not available solely because of the “right-wing Memorial Day partiers” are hogging them. Then the racial differences will be highlighted.
And that’s when “Medicare for All” will be returning to be a key part of MSM messaging. And in today’s context, it’s going to be all about medical justice (please don’t call it ‘medical rationing’) as to who should be (and not be) treated.
