Another attempt to assassinate President Trump just took place just 64 days after he was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania. This time while he was golfing at the Trump International golf course in West Palm Beach.

Shots were just fired at Trump international golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Trump was there golfing.

An AK-47 was discovered in the bushes and the suspect fled over a nearby wall, per a source in Florida law enforcement.

This is now TWICE in two months that an attempt to assassinate a United States President has taken place. TWICE. There are still many more questions than answers regarding the attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. Americans, especially the Trump family as Melania bluntly pointed out, deserve answers. But the silence is deafening.

And now this happens. AGAIN.

A person has been detained in connection to the incident at Trump International Golf Club on Sunday, according to a law enforcement source.

Secret Service fired at the suspect, according to multiple sources.

A long gun has been recovered, according to the source.

Officials believe an armed individual intended to target former President Donald Trump at his golf club, according to sources briefed on the matter.

Reports are that the shooter was on the course several holes ahead of where the President was, and once spotted tried to open fire, but the Secret Service Advance team fired multiple shots back at him. Whereupon the shooter fled, leaving his weapon in the bushes and jumped back over the fence.

Meanwhile, the White House, in contrast to the last time, quickly issued a statement. 

“The President and Vice President have been briefed about the security incident at the Trump International Golf Course, where former President Trump was golfing. They are relieved to know that he is safe. They will be kept regularly updated by their team.”

It is highly fortunate that the advance team DID spot this new shooter. But I have concerns. What is the depth of coverage of President Trump and his family? How in the world did this shooter manage to get onto the course, where and WHEN?? This is a course the President golfs at often, do you mean to tell me that during his Presidency and his campaigns, no additional cameras and security sensors were put up?? More answers for the Secret Service are needed. 

This directly from Kamala Harris is quite tone-deaf and par for the course with her.

CNN had reported that a backpack and a Go-Pro were recovered by the Secret Service. Makes one think that it was planned to film the attempt.

The media has reported that a suspect was taken into custody after a vehicle chase on the interstate. I’d like to know how it was that the Secret Serviced missed hitting the guy when more than one agent was firing at him? 

Unbelievably they admit the security. coverage that President Trump receives is LESS because he’s “only” a candidate. 

After two unsuccessful assassination attempts against Trump, the USSS should stop treating him as a candidate. They need to treat him as they would a sitting POTUS, especially by expanding the protective perimeter around him.

That DEFINITELY needs to change. ASAP. Especially given that, if reports are true, this golf outing was NOT publicized. 

The FBI is launching an investigation into this new attempt on President Trump’s life. Will the Trump family and the American people get answers? Or will there be yet another deafening silence from the feds?
