Yesterday a terrorist tried to blow up a section of the New York City subway and thankfully failed. In fact, the one receiving the majority of injuries was the terrorist himself. Maybe he shouldn’t have taken lessons from Clock Boy?
To recap, a terrorist, inspired by ISIS and their attacks on Christmas markets in Europe and elsewhere, tried to bomb the NYC subway system in the Times Square area.
If it had worked, who knows how many lives would’ve been lost. But instead, his bomb failed and 4 Port Authority police officers, Sean Gallagher, Drew M. Preston, John “Jack” F. Collins and Anthony Manfredini, were able to close in and apprehend him.
Today, that terrorist is facing some serious charges.
Akayed Ullah, 27, of Brooklyn, N.Y., is charged with supporting an act of terrorism, criminal possession of a weapon and making terroristic threats, the NYPD said Tuesday.
It’s important to note that Ullah is here in our country because of what is called ‘extended family chain migration.’ He arrived here in 2011 courtesy of an uncle and has lived in the Brooklyn area ever since. Via Powerline we find this interesting and disturbing statistic.
In other words, based on flimsy evidence, over 141,000 Bangladesh nationals have been resettled in the United States. In 2005 the number was 8,508. In 2016 the numbers were slightly more than doubled to 18,051. It’s also worth noting that Ullah is the FOURTH Bangladeshi national in the last few years who has plotted and/or tried to commit acts of terrorism in the U.S.
The issues and fallacies of chain migration are definitely something to think about as the terrorist, Akayed Ullah deals with the physical and legal consequences of his actions. Meanwhile as the NY Times ponders the “mysteries” of Ullah’s attempt at terrorism, his family according to the Associated Press is really really SAD.
Family of NYC subway bomb suspect says they are heartbroken and deeply saddened by attack. https://t.co/yDfjYc6jss

Oh really? Let’s take a gander at their ENTIRE statement.

Let me get this straight. Police and/or the justice system left a four year old out in the cold and questioned a teenager without parents or an attorney present and so the NYPD is to blame for Ullah blowing himself up??!!! That’s just … tone deaf to eleventy billion!

Infuriating. They should be outraged by the actions of their family member.
They should absolutely face questions about why they didn't report him earlier and what they knew. If not for his incompetence, innocent people would have died today. https://t.co/clLxSBgfIy

Yeah, they definitely should be. But NOOOO…we are supposed to be outraged at some unverified incidents that have caused this. Geesh, deflection much?
We’re pretty outraged at the murderous behavior of their terrorist family member. https://t.co/wUdpLVD5hX

Exactly. I mean seriously…this is what Ullah’s family and CAIR spokesman come up with? One of their own strapped a freaking BOMB on himself and tried to blow up a pretty significant portion of the NYC Subway, but ZOMG!! Those police people were RUDE and big ole MEANIES. WAAAHHHHHHHH.
“Sorry our son tried to blow up a lot of you on your way to work today, but the cops were kinda rude to us after that and we want answers” https://t.co/2nEN4czLx9
— Buck Sexton (@BuckSexton) December 12, 2017
Well guess what? The only answers that we need are from Ullah himself and from anyone in his extended family who has information as to why he did this, who he might’ve been working with, etc. If you get your tiny little feelings hurt during the process… Too bad. So Sad.
Memo to Akayed Ullah’s family. Your sad sack of a relative is a terrorist. Period. So, take your ill-advised virtue signaling and shove it.
UPDATE: The Sergeants Benevolent Association for the NYPD dropped the boom on CAIR and the family regarding their outrageous statement.
Family of Port Authority bombing suspect is 'outraged' at investigators' tactics https://t.co/hYowxNdjCw via @nypmetro. Outrage?? Let me get this correct your son walks in a public place wearing a bomb and your outrage at the behavior of the police…too bad get over it!!!

For those that may not be aware, CAIR is the mouthpiece for the American Muslim Brotherhood. It is a radical organization that will defend Muslim rights and promote militant Islam. Many of its top officials have been arrested for terrorism.

MIC and Drop.
Chain migration. Great idea! It’s the camel’s nose in the tent, soon followed by the rest of it. PDJT says the NY suspect was allowed to bring 23 relatives to America as their point of contact. America is commiting suicide. What fools our leaders have been!
Victims are at the absolute top of the Leftist pecking order. Ullah’s family are now some sort of victims now, so their position is unassailable. That’s how this works.
their position is unassailable
And “unass” is exactly what they should do. “Unass” from this country.
(Vets will know the meaning of that term.)
I don’t mind some family immigration. But I would leave it at immediate family – parents, children, siblings – and NONE of those people could sponsor anyone, ever.
BTW, things might be clearer on the Bangladeshi angle, when you use the old name for the region: East Pakistan.
And, yes, I would be crawling up the family’s collective backside with a microscope, given their immediate turn to CAIR and their lame attempt to deflect. I bet there’s lots of pro-jihadi sentiment flowing there.
Completely agree on the immigration issue!
Bangladesh used to be East Pakistan?? Now that’s an interesting plot twist!
When they partitioned India at its independence, the largest chunks of muslims were on either side, and they split them off as a single entity. Eventually East Pakistan broke away (with the help of India!) and became Bangladesh.
The Jihad Nazi says: “Not smart enough to blow yourself up – No virgins for you!”
Son, leaving Monday for Iraq for his 5th tour there, spent Thanksgiving with his girlfriend’s family in MN. They called Minneapolis “Little Somalia”. When the family went to see “Blackhawk Down” at the theatre, they had to sneak out in the middle because the audience was cheering, for the wrong guys. Chain migration…spit!
Well, if they don’t like the police here, they’re welcome to go back to Bangladesh where the conduct of law enforcement personnel is more to their liking.
Too bad for this latest Jihadi, looks like he blasted his junk off. How and what will he do with his 72 virgins? Couldn’t happen to a nicer fellow.
Since America is so systemically racist perhaps we should stop taking Immigrants of Color for their own welfare.
