For all of you still whining about the “innocents” that are supposedly mere victims in the Israeli “war of aggression,” there’s this little nugget today.  Turns out that out of all those polled by the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion, only 11% opposed Hamas.  Eleven percent.  The rest?  Well, they’re all about terror and wiping out those pesky Jews.

The poll of 1,000 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip found that 88.9 percent of those surveyed supported “the firing of rockets from Gaza at Israel,” according to the findings.

Even better: In a stunning lack of understanding of the rules of cause and effect, more than 93% of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip oppose disarming the militant groups that are engaging in the exact conduct that is causing Israel to bomb the daylights out of them.  So there’s that.

Meanwhile, the Israelis are about done playing around.  Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said today in a press conference that Israel will continue to rain down on Hamas if the rockets do not stop coming into Israel.  Syria, not to be outdone, launched mortars into the Golan Heights earlier today.  Naturally, Syrian rights groups say that it’s not their fault…militant fighters took over control of the border from the Syrian Army for their nefarious purposes.  Because certainly, Syria would never actually allow terrorism to happen or anything.

Business as usual in the Middle East: Muslim countries trying to kill Jews; Jews fighting back.  Will the news that 89% of Palestinians actually support this make it into the US media, so people can stop acting like the Jews are conducting some kind of genocide against the poor, unwashed masses in the Gaza Strip?  Probably not.  Would people even care if it did?  Of course not.  We are way too engrossed in the drama of things like faux racism and manufactured outrage to worry about things that actually matter.
