This morning in Paris Muslim terrorists carried out an attack on satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo. Three gunmen, dressed in all black, stormed into the building, shouting “Allahu Akbar!” and killed at least twelve magazine employees, including the editor, three political cartoonists, and a police officer.

These masked monsters moved quickly, escaping after the 11:30 a.m. attack on the magazine known for its caricatures of the Muslim Prophet Muhammed.

“We’ve avenged the honor of the prophet,” they shouted according to witnesses. They also shouted their famous battle cry, “Allahu Akbar,” meaning “God is great.”

Jodi has already posted more about the story here, and Victory Girls Blog will continue to follow this act of terror as more information develops. As I sit writing this, though, all we know is that the perpetrators spoke French very well, but witnesses have been quick to say that the men were not French. People have also said that these individuals claimed to have Al Qaeda ties.

My thoughts and prayers are with the people of France today…and with the world.

Why with the world? Because we are facing a horrifying enemy that doesn’t value life or our differences that make us individually unique. They want a world-wide Muslim caliphate that kills all in opposition to it.

This attack was a well-thought-out, well-planned, pre-meditated act of violence in the name of Allah. This attack was one to make us fearful of even making light jokes about their religions or its founder, Muhammed. It was carried out to scare us in an attempt to censor anyone and everyone who isn’t Muslim.

Steven Crowder posted a brilliant, short blog post today about this topic, and I couldn’t agree more with him. As I was reading about the attacks, the same sentiments were rolling through my mind as what he posted on his blog.

We hear over and over from our opponents on the Left that “true” Islam is peaceful, that this “small percentage” of Muslims (which works out to be about an estimated 300 million people – or the equivalent of the entire United States population), these extremists, don’t represent the whole, and that it is America’s fault that they attack us – we’re just the bullies of the world.

The Left drops words like tolerance. They say if we were just more tolerant that the Muslim extremists would just stop attacking us. It’s our fault because we have long since inserted ourselves into the politics of the Middle East.

Doesn’t today’s attack disprove that?

After all, the European Union has proclaimed that they are a shining beacon for multiculturalism everywhere. While France isn’t as accepting of it as England, the governments of Europe have slowly allowed Sharia Law to become prevalent and acceptable as a governing force in their countries. Let’s just put it this way: their people aren’t specifically voting against Sharia Law being allowed in their nations like we “rednecks” here in America have.

Yet in Europe, today in France, people were brutally, systematically murdered because, as Crowder nailed it on the head, “the ideology of Islam is the enemy of humanity”. France IS tolerant and all those other buzzwords that Lefties drop to point out all that Americans are not, yet French civilians were still attacked by Muslim gunmen today.

The EU has capitulated time after time to Islamic terrorists, and still they attack them. Still they are hated. Still Muslims are willing to spread their religious beliefs at the end of a gun, or sword, or whatever weapon they have available to them, because these actions are encouraged in their religious texts. Human life doesn’t matter to them.

One of the largest advantages Islamic terrorists have on their side in their fight for global dominance is the world’s driving desire to be politically correct. We think if we stop offending them, or stop involving ourselves in the politics of the Middle East that the terrorist actions will stop, but that isn’t true. Political correctness only weakens us.

I say this, Friends, because we on the Right are being attacked. We are being told that our beliefs are archaic, and that we are the problem. I encourage all of you to continue to reject these claims. The biggest threat to our safety currently isn’t our interferences in world political schemes 20, 30, 40, even 50 years ago. It is the refusal of our leadership to acknowledge who or what the enemy is. As long as the leadership in Washington and in the EU continue to worship at the Church of Political Correctness we will all be in danger, and we will be forced to read about the brutal, inhumane attacks waged on innocent human life in the name of Allah.
