Pentagon Confuses Pride Month With PTSD Awareness

Who is working at The Pentagon these days and, pray tell, what are they smoking? The Department of Defense made an embarrassing error on their X account yesterday where the picture did not match the post.

The post was supposed to be about PTSD awareness but the photo touted Pride Month with a graphic of all of the colors of the rainbow.

Now, I know back in our Marine Corps days, we had friends that went to fly desks at The Pentagon. Most of these Marines (aviators who needed a check in the box for a Lieutenant Colonel promotion or beyond) are intelligent and sensible people. But amongst the intelligent and sensible at The Pentagon are some real numbskulls. My guess is the population of numbskulls “flying desks” has increased over the years.

June is PTSD Awareness Month and the DoD is committed to supporting service members and veterans affected by PTSD, If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available. You are not alone.”-DoD

Apparently, someone at The Pentagon realized the error and deleted the tweet, but some of the comments were gold:

I’ve got PTSD from having LQBTQ propaganda shoved in my face for the same month.”

Agreed. But, to conflate actual PTSD with having PTSD from seeing a ton of rainbows and all of the pandering is a bit much. PTSD is very real for some of our active duty, separated and retired service members.

Unfortunately, so is stupidity for the active duty person in charge of the DoD X account. But, really, was this an honest mistake? We have our doubts considering the antics the Biden Administration pulled on Easter Sunday this year:

This is what happens when a command structure becomes too politicized. I’ve also seen this first-hand when my husband was active duty. The tide was turning under the Obama administration. There was less of a need for men and women who loved this country and were willing to fight for it and more of a need for “diversity”, politicking, saying the right things and rubbing elbows with the “right” people (some of whom were decidedly “left”). I’ve never been an ass kisser in the political circles of officer wives and in my workplace. In truth, neither is my husband. All he wanted to do is fly. He was a squadron XO for a brief period of time until a backstabbing, liberal, rich-boy Columbiuhhhh grad (one of the reasons for my utter disdain for Columbia) started taking his parking spot while he was on exercises. The CO at the time let this happen; he wanted this to happen and set out to make my husband’s life miserable by attempting do whatever he could to not keep him current in the cockpit. My husband was ready to take action against this clown. In reality and in hindsight, pasty, white, slimy, Columbiuh liberal sliding into the XO position was a blessing. My Marine had no interest in climbing through the ranks if he could not fly. This brief, miserable blip in my Marine’s awesome career was brought to you by political division.

I was reminded of how politically left the military has become when I came across a MARADMIN just the other day signed by Brigadier General David R. Everly. The United States Marine Corps released a MARADMIN honoring Pride Month. These are the very same MARADMINS Marines look to in determining their future. Want to know if you got promoted? Look to the MARADMINS. Pride Month has been made official by a MARADMIN! What a sad, freaking joke.

In the past and today, LGBTQIA+ Marines have served and fought
valiantly for our Nation. Their readiness and willingness to serve
make our Corps stronger and the nation safer. Throughout Pride
Month, we recognize the LGBTQIA+ Marines and their contributions to
the Corps as their hard work, courage, and determination are part
of the success of our team. The Marine Corps continues to focus on
lethality and readiness derived from the strength of an inclusive
culture. We also remain dedicated to promoting a professional
environment, free from personal, social, or institutional obstacles,
that enables and encourages all Marines to achieve their full
potential.”-marines.mil

A “stronger and safer” Corps? A “focus on lethality and readiness” derived from “inclusivity”? In what world, SIR? This is what The Pentagon/DoD comes up with.

General Everly? Please lay off the crack pipe. But BGen Everly needs another star and will say what he has to to get it.

China is rolling on the floor and laughing their asses off right now. I’m sure they’re looking forward to meeting the Marine who likes to dress up in a furry costume on the weekends and has a bunch of stuffed, anime plushies sitting on his-her-they/them-their/they’re/there (whatever) desk. Resilience trainers being “stunning, brave and courageous”, or something. Lethality. (SNORT) Nothing says “lethality” like an overweight, gassed-out, pink-haired guy with boobs.

I beg to differ here. I think some of our doggos would actually run things better. Bring some puppies to The Pentagon. Please.

We were better off as a nation when the freaks were in the closet and didn’t want to draw attention to themselves.

There used to be a saying in the military, a reminder to leaders: “What gets checked, gets done right”. Apparently, that’s gone.

Push back with the fact that what they are doing is promoting a religion and that’s illegal and unconstitutional. PUSH IT. HARD. And don’t relent.

All of Progressivism is a religion, despite their successful efforts to get most people to believe it isn’t – all because they don’t have a mythos. Well, they certainly do, and “all homos are beautiful people” is part of it. Fight it.
