Now remember, Gavin Newsom told Charlie Kirk that the trans athletes in women and girls sports is…“deeply unfair.” California thumbed their nose at Trump and said, we’ll do it anyway, with Gavin’s blessing. Now the DOJ has launched a lawsuit in their direction.

The Trump administration sued California on Wednesday over alleged Title IX violations on transgender athletes after state officials refused to comply with a federal order banning trans student athletes in women’s sports.

It is something that Trump officials say is “unfair” and a “reckless endangerment.”

To be blunt, it IS reckless endangerment. There are female athletes who are now dealing with lifelong medical issues. Getting clocked in the head with a 100 mph volleyball has left at least one girl with a lifetime of brain trauma. What if a guy pitches a fast ball and strikes the female athlete just right on her shoulder, knee…or head? I sincerely doubt she’d hobble off the field with ‘just a bruise.’ Those are just TWO examples. 

Remember folks, women fought hard for Title IX so that they, women and girls, would be able to have women’s sports in colleges and secondary schools. Now, they are being told – no ORDERED – to allow a biological male into their ranks. If the girls get physically hurt? Or lose a race to that male who will ALWAYS run faster than she will? Well, sucks to be you. We are checking the politically correct box, so sit down and shut up. 

How about NO and various other words I don’t dare type here? This is a reason why the Trump Administration is so very consequential. They are looking out for women and girls in sports. 

California told the Trump Administration, we don’t care about women and girls, we will defy Title IX anyway. So THERE! 

I literally think that California Democrats thought Trump would cave and let them get away with violating Title IX in order to further their transgender mania. 

The Trump Administration isn’t playing California’s games. 

California’s policies “eviscerate equal athletic opportunities for girls … they also require girls to share intimate spaces, such as locker rooms, with boys, causing a hostile educational environment that denies girls educational opportunities,” the lawsuit said.

“The results of these illegal policies are stark: girls are displaced from podiums, denied awards, and miss out on critical visibility for college scholarships and recognition.”

The state’s current policy allows athletes to participate in sports “consistent with” their gender identity. State officials have maintained that this doesn’t violate the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.

Which puts girls and women at a disadvantage, AND invades their privacy. What does Gavin Newsom have to say? This was his response as he was glad-handing his way through South Carolina. 

“I struggled with the issue of fairness when it came to sports,” he said at an event in South Carolina. “And we tried to figure that out a couple of years ago, and we were unsuccessful, and we struggled with that recently.

“And my position is that I don’t think it’s fair, but I also think it’s demeaning to talk down to people, and to belittle the trans community. And I don’t like the way the right wing talks about the trans community. These people just want to survive.” 

Here’s the deal. This issue isn’t about FAIRNESS. Why? Because sex is immutable. If this was truly an issue of fairness, there would be NO biological males in women’s sports. Identity is NOT sex.

Totally agree, Title IX protects fairness. Women’s sports need real boundaries, not blurred lines. Glad this admin is actually enforcing it.

Biological males can claim all they want that they identify and or want to be a woman. But that does not and never will make them an actual woman.

I wonder if Gavin will use this as a legal argument?

Civil rights, LGBTQ rights, women’s rights and not just access to abortion, but also access to simple reproductive care, contraception… It’s a moment that few of us could have imagined.”

Keeping girls and women’s sports free from men is…”America in reverse?” I’m here for it.
