NCAA Did A Sneaky End Run Around Their New Transgender Ban

The NCAA is playing games once again. Their new transgender ban isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. Nope, they are gaming the system and did an end run around the issue.

“The NCAA is an organization made up of 1,100 colleges and universities in all 50 states that collectively enroll more than 530,000 student-athletes,” NCAA President Charlie Baker said in a statement. “We strongly believe that clear, consistent, and uniform eligibility standards would best serve today’s student-athletes instead of a patchwork of conflicting state laws and court decisions. To that end, President Trump’s order provides a clear, national standard.”

Sounds great doesn’t it? The NCAA got a clue, right? Especially after yesterday’s White House ceremony during which President Trump signed the Executive Order while surrounded by females of all ages.

Therefore, it is the policy of the United States to rescind all funds from educational programs that deprive women and girls of fair athletic opportunities, which results in the endangerment, humiliation, and silencing of women and girls and deprives them of privacy.  It shall also be the policy of the United States to oppose male competitive participation in women’s sports more broadly, as a matter of safety, fairness, dignity, and truth.

The optics certainly weren’t good for Democrats yesterday as President Trump signed the EO.

And, of course, all the usual suspects weren’t happy with this new executive order that keeps biological men out of women’s sports, girls locker rooms, and more.

In a statement, LGBTQ+ advocacy group GLAAD said, “This move is deeply disturbing and not informed by any of the medical, scientific, and human rights expertise that has previously guided NCAA policy and keeps all student athletes safe.”

“It is also premature and purely a response from the inaccurate and incoherent rhetoric from the Trump White House and its attempt to intimidate educational institutions,” GLAAD said. “Students deserve leaders who will look out for their best interests instead of caving to bullies trying to legitimize discrimination and harm.”

Oh really? Tell that to the young girls who’ve been sexually assaulted in schools by those masquerading as transgenders. Tell that to the young lady who will be dealing with life-long medical issues after getting clobbered on the head by a spiked volleyball courtesy of a male player on the other team. Tell that to the women having to compete against a male basketball player, or the women forced to deal with him in the locker room. And, let’s not forget Lia Thomas.

Too bad for you Jack. He knows good and well there’s nothing “fair” about a biological male competing on a women’s team.

One would think that with the enormous pushback from rational parents, along with the girls themselves, these statistics showing the across the board public disapproval of the issue of transgenders taking over women’s sports would’ve given the NCAA a clue.

But NOOOO… they decided to straddle the fence and do an end run around the issue.

Today, the NCAA announced the Board of Governors voted to update the Association’s participation policy for transgender student-athletes following the Trump administration’s executive order. The new policy limits competition in women’s sports to student-athletes assigned female at birth only. The policy permits student-athletes assigned male at birth to practice with women’s teams and receive benefits such as medical care while practicing. This policy is effective immediately and applies to all student-athletes regardless of previous eligibility reviews under the NCAA’s prior transgender participation policy.

NCAA men’s sports:

Regardless of sex assigned at birth or gender identity, a student-athlete may participate (practice and competition) in NCAA men’s sports, assuming they meet all other NCAA eligibility requirements.

*Student-athletes taking a banned substance (e.g., testosterone) must complete the medical exception process.

NCAA women’s sports:

A student-athlete assigned male at birth may not compete for an NCAA women’s team.

A student-athlete assigned male at birth may practice on an NCAA women’s team and receive all other benefits applicable to student-athletes. Division I leadership is planning to adopt roster limits in place of scholarship limits and new practice squad policies are still in development.

Where’s the end run? It’s that a biological MALE will still be allowed on the team and able to practice with the women. Which likely means he will suit up with the team on game days. I wouldn’t put it past the coaches to dress the player and have him out onto the field/court/track/pool claiming it was necessary to meet team eligibility for that game/meet.

Sounds far-fetched doesn’t it? Except that we already KNOW that schools have been hiding and/or gaming the system in order to favor the transgender biological male over the females on the team.

I know a lot of folks are wanting to believe that the NCAA has caved, but I don’t think they have. If t had actually gotten a clue, then biological men wouldn’t be allowed in women’s sports AT. ALL.

Read NCAA’s statement above again. Men will be allowed to join and practice with the women’s teams. Such a sneaky little end run isn’t it?

Young boy, sitting down for dinner: “Tra-la-la De-Dum-De”

Parents: “Peter, we do not sing at the dinner table.”

Young boy, “Hmmm hmm hm hmmmm.”

Parents: “Young man, what did we say?”

Young boy: “You didn’t say ‘no humming’!”

(Ever wonder why Mosaic law take up so much space in the Bible?)
